Shino or Temari?

Well Temari has been shown to be a smart enemy and so has Shino. Temari can cut down forests removing hiding places. Shino probably would not last in an open battle with her.

Of course, if he were smart he'd find some way to destroy that fan... if he could do that the battle would become interesting.

Hmm...it's hard to choose a winner, Shino is not to be underestimated. He have a unique ability to find the enemy's weak spot, but Temari is stubborn and I guess she isn't a jounin for nothing.

Temari draws the longest straw in the end.

Temari is very powerful but I'd say shino because he is a very clever kind of guy. I'm sure he would be able to come up with something that could take Temari out.

Both are good ninjas that don't get much screen time, temari would get even less if it wasn't for shikamaru, and shino is a bit underrated.

Temari is the character I prefer but shino'd win, he defeated kankuro right, temari may blow them way but surely his tiny creatures will find a way round that. he could use beetles or scarabs to dig their way to temari, that'd be good.

That means nothing, what about naruto and kabuto, or naruto and mizuki, or kakashi saying naruto surpassed him (bollocks I know) and all the jounins gaara could own before he was kage, there's lots of examples of genins owning chunnins and jounins.

This is an interesting fight. I always though that Shino would have promoted to Jounin with Neji/Temari/Kankurou, but I guess not. We don't exactly know their abilities after the timeskip, but if it was preskip, Temari would win (by a teeny teeny chance). Her Kikiri Mai jutsu would blow away all the bugs and Shino's hiding spots. Shino could attack from under ground, but she could also fly and resort to weapons.

I fear for my Shino-kun that he probably wouldn't win to Temari, but it depends on the jutsus they use and their strategies. Shino is intelligent, is always one step ahead of his opponent and can use his bugs for a lot of things, like attacking Temari from behind and creating bug clones. Temari can easily blow them away and she can summon creatures later on, and she is promoted to a jounin in Shippuden. It really could go either way.

Dont underestimate shino, temari is really good but I think shino will find a way I mean he can have bugs fly at her from any direction prob even underground. This will be a hard battle but I some how think shino will pull it off

Well, since temari saw what shino did to kankuro, temari would probably become paranoid if she fights shino and blows the whole terrain away and kill shino.

Shino might be able to sneak some bugs on temari but that would hardly benefit him if he's dead.
