Good call. In that case, Rogue wins. Pretty easily. All this rogue talk and Wow..... has got me all confused. Yes... the "I steal your powers" was a good clue. I must be tired.

Didn't Rogue lose a lot of her superstrength, due to her having Sunfire's powers now?

If she still has super-strength then she should take this.

It's surprising that people still make the mistake of "rouge" even outside of WoW
Okay maybe not
Doesn't Rogue have super strength from the cartoons? =\

Comic Rogue used to be stronger when she had Ms. Marvels powers. She is still strong, but I'm not sure exactly what class she's in. Class 40~50?

Tsunade's strength is purely in punching power. In an arm-wrestling contest she has little to no feats to say she even has actual super-strength. In fact, Rock Lee has better strength feats than Tsunade.

Tsunade most likely punched the knife into the air then continued punching it to guide the knife into the desired location. This is why Kishimoto did not draw her actually picking up the knife. Because it didn't happen. That is why Sakura can do this:

Which weighs upwards of 200 tons.
And not break out of normal rope:

That of course is because it is emitting chakra from the hands to add to striking power and not actual physical strength. Jiraiya also explains how it works but I'm too lazy to find it.

the manga doesn't show the scene itself, but it shows Tsunade grabbing it and in a panel or so it shows it in the air and smashing into Manda. figure it out.:)

This is the biggest bullshit and stupid speculation I've seen in a while.
Personally, I don't remember anyone saying specifically Tsunade's strength is chakra enhanced. It's most likely that her strength is natural, but she felt Sakura needed an alternate way to have that power so she can be more liker her so she taught Sakura the Chakra enhancing way.
Tsunade inherited her strength from Shodai...did she not?

I doubt that. We never saw Tsunade lift anything. Only punch things really heard.
And I though Tsunade's strength came from near perfect chakra control

Call it what you want... it doesn't change the fact that the way Kishimoto has set up chakra, it does not = real strength. I merely offered a possible explanation for how the knife got in the air. There is a reason Kishimoto never has any of his characters perform real lifting feats, with a few minor exceptions....

HEY CONTRADICT YOURSELF SOME MORE
Jeez
Anyways
Kakashi said Sakura's punches were chakra powered
Noone ever said anything about Tsunade.
In fact, I do recall Oro saying "she still has that monster strength". I'd have a hard time imagining Oro not figuring it out how something worked. Unless that line was filler. I started manga post-ts, so shrug
I'm not stating this to be an absolute truth or w/e or bet cash on it
I just figure that Tsunade teaching Sakura a way of imitating her sounds pretty logical
I still don't understand why people forget that Tsunade was said to have gained her superhuman strength from Shodai...

The blade of the knife was firmly in the ground. So if she punched the knife into the air, then she would of had to punch it once to send it flying forward and deloge it, fall back to the ground and then smack it again to send it up, and then fall back to the ground again only to have to jump up and hit a thrid time to punch it and direct it at Manda. Oh, I suppose she also could could have smacked it an an angle and then fallen all the way back to the ground gone back into the air and then proceed to punch it in Manda's direction and then grab on. --------- yeah makes perfect sense! Anyway, even if she just punched it into the air at a random angle, it was then shown that she could move and position the knife while in the air.... so what's that ?

Kinda like people refer to Sakura's "strength"?

Which is exactly why she can punch large objects... just not lift them.

She punched it forward causing it to spin in the air towards the direction of Manda, then she grabs it mid air. It's really very logical...*cough* *cough*

Jiraiya actually mentioned it.
WHERE, GET A SCAN PLZ ? Seriously, I'm not trying to sound stubborn here, I don't remember anyone saying it about Tsunade. Oro said nothing of it, and one would imagine Oro would be the type to explain things.

Yeah, because teacher and students are exact duplicates down to the bones right?
Teacher teaching the student a way to compensate for a lack of natural ability is impossible right?
Especially when a genius like Oro doesn't even talk about Tsunade using chakra ?
Yeah okay
Should go do some more calculations
Where is that scan of Jiraiya ?

I was replying to April Vacation who seems hung up on the fact that everyone refers to Tsunade and Sakura as having monstrous "strength" when it is actually punching power. Its very possible that she inherited her "strength" from Shodai, just like Sakura inherited her "strength" from Tsunade.
Edit:
Yes... I'm sure a genius like Orochimaru hasn't figured it out. Perhaps he just didn't feel the need to explain it? Its all up to the discretion of Kishimoto, who has made it abundantly clear that the "strength" is almost always a result of punching with chakra. And the "go do some more calculations" line isn't really working because my track record in that area is nearly stainless. And I always enjoy my work bringing knowledge to the ignorant masses. Thanks for caring though.

Ah I see now. But you know there is a very keen difference between Tsunade and Sakura though. Shodai didn't teach her anything, as he died when she was probably three or four years old.. I think her strength is genetic and Sakura's will strong, is enhanced heavily by Tsunade's training.

<3 Rogue
Tsunade gets her power from releasing her chakra at the perfect time. That's why her punches are deadly. Now besides from the fact she picked up Gama's sword, we don't know how strong she is, because Rogue would be able to do the same thing. From what we've seen... Rogue would win.

once again people are trying to make narutoverse fighters weaker so they loose.
Tsunade is superstrong tsunade wins.
Her strength is natural, her punches will do damage, her skill is deadly, she is hokage, she can alaso chalkra enhance her punches, in an armwrestling match against ms.marvel rogue it'd be fun to see(tsunade lifted 200 tons knife)(rogue has lifted planes and sentinals),in a fight tsunade kills her ass, in armwrestling match it'd be fun to watch.
I like tsunade better, cause the juggs don't lie and they d@mn sure don't loose.

Kakashi acually mentions that sakura may even become more powerful than tsunade when the are fighting the second time, yet she is one of the weakest (physically) characters in the movie! I only makes sense that tsunade was similar to sakura. And if she can infuse the chakra into her punches, why couldn't she use the chakra to incease her overall srength in order to pick up the knife and throw it. Since she knows how to use chakra to increase phisical attributes anyway.
You all understand that this is a arm-wrestling contest, correct? Because it seems none of you at all understand this from the start of the thread.

So we back at speculation

Way to lie
edit: lol stainless. i'm not mocking your effort in regards to those calculations. i applaud it. but i do question it's validity and wonder why you dont see the futility of it
