View Full Version : Kinton (Goku's magic cloud) vs guys from DC and Marvel.

Roshi said that only People with pure heart can ride on Kinton. Other people who qualify other than Goku: Chibi Chichi, Goten and Gohan.
Who would be able to ride Kinton in the world of the comics?.
I can think on right now.....
-Thor (his hammer seems to follow a similar rule).
-Superman (come on, Clark is naive as hell)
-Ice (she was very innocent too).
-Captain America? (i'm not sure about this guy....)
If you want you can add people from other mangas too....
I don't think Superman is pure enough..

Bulma was capable to show her panties to Roshi to get the Dragonballs and her only goal was have sex with Yamcha. She clearly wasn't a pure girl.

Thor....maybe...but hes a god. Shouldn't he be able to fly already.
Superman has a darkside (red kryptonite lol) so his heart really isn't completely pure.
Dunno Ice.
Cap'n I think is the closest of the lot.
But I do know Tony Stark would fall like a brick. XD

As an adult though, he killed only two people in all of DBZ: Yakon and Buu.

If you wanna get really technical (which most people never do), he never killed Yakon; he allowed him to kill himself.
Which leaves just Buu.
Although one could argue that he fully intended to kill Frieza, and is therefore just as "impure" for his death.

When he is super saiyan Im not sure how pure he is then I generally thought the Saiyan instincts came out more. Even so he decided too spare his life.
Anyway if I remember correctly someone said Superman gets thoughts too take over the world. He wouldn't be able too ride the cloud.
I don't think Captain America could ride the cloud either, in general these people seem like people where the wrong thoughts would cross their mind but they choose the correct path.
People like Goku for the most part only think the right path.

That'd was originally from Justice and Rule, and then Phenomenol (who somewhat distorted it a bit).
It's rooted into Superman in the question of exactly how much should he utilise his powers to help humanity; one scenario he pondered was him being a beneficial dictator.
The story to look at addressing the issue would be Superman: Peace on Earth.

Batman, most definitely not. He buttsecks Robin He often has his own motivations and his underlying reason behind his actions is vengeance. That isn't pure.
Spiderman is better then most. But not pure hearted. Venom is evidence of that.

Actually I doubt you'll find anyone who is legitimately 'pure hearted' in the American Comic Book Universes.
Almost every character they at some time make them if not totally evil, then slightly evil to change things up and introduce new plot lines. If for some reason they don't go evil, then they in some form or another get inebriated and get the infamous, 'wasn't being myself' syndrome which in fact is them being more true to themselves with acting upon repressed desires.

Billy Batson was confirmed to be pure hearted when an alien or evil force was searching for the most pure hearted person on Earth. Everyone thought it would be Superman, but it turned out to be Billy Batson a.k.a. Captain Marvel.
