Naruto and Sakura win this. Naruto summons Gama to take care of Katsuyu. With Naruto's kagebunshin/taijutsu strategies and Sakura knowledge of Tsunade abilities and her own medical jutsus, they can win this.

Tsunade would just smack Naruto around, eventually landing a jaw shattering blow, leaving Naruto damn near crippled. Sakura...she's basically a mini Tsunade. She's not superior to Tsunade yet, so I don't see her doing too well against her while Naruto is knocked the hell out.

You have got to be kidding me. There is no evidence supporting your assumptions regarding Naruto and Sakura ranks. It has been stated and implied in the manga many times that teamwork is the most essential thing to a shinobi. For your battle scenario to be true, Naruto would have to have absolutely no taijutsu skill and not use Kagebunshin. It just seems like you are assuming that they are just going to charge right at her. Which would be crazy and lead to the result you detailed in your statement.

Easy, Tsunade. Like said before, Naruto and Sakura were struggling to get 2 bells (not even fighting him for his live) from kakashi, who is still Jounin level.
They couldn't even get the bells by fighting him, they eventually got them by a different methode remember?
And there certainly is a huge difference between a Jounin and someone who is Hokkage + Sannin + Medical specialist. So the outcome of this match is clear. :)

I dont think Sakura and Naruto could beat Tsunade. It's not really all that evident that they could take Kakashi - legimately knock him out, beyond merely taking bells.

i don't competely agree with you on this. I mean Tsuande may have some jitsu that we don't know about. She was the first Hokage's granddaughter. so she might still have some jitsu.

back to the forum: i think that Naruto and sakura might have a chance to win this only because Naruto has improved a lot with his new rasengan and Kakashi even sad so him self that Naruto my have surpass him. If it's a "life or death" fight, Naruto and Sakura because Naruto would go four-tails after Sakura inevitably gets hurt badly.

If it's a training/test fight, Tsunade because Naruto isn't that good unless his friends lives are on the line.

I very much doubt that Tsunade could have beaten Naruto when he went to One Tail form at the Valley of the End. As is, Naruto would :bang Tsunade if he used the Foxes demon power.

Assuming for no Red Chakra, Naruto would (problably) only need to get in 1/2 direct Rasengan hits to criple Tsunade. Massive use of Kage-Bunshin, combined with Sakuras area effect damage, would problably allow for this.

I reckon that if Naruto went Nine Tales Tsunade would be in bad postion,But I don't know. If Naruto and Sakura could barley get the bells of Kakashi, I don't think they'd be able to beat Tsunadae. Well I think that they have a chance I mean Sakura knows alot about Tsunade and Naruto and Sakura in a team aint bad! So I say they have a chance. But like others here has said before me she didnt get the title of HOKAGE for nothing!!. Her strength is almost too overpower, her taijutsu is superior, she can do summonig, and her medical ninjutsus are amazing no one better, and she has the experience she has been in war and everything. + I think that she knows some elemental attacks couse most Jounnin knows 2 right :). Well, in paper...Tsunade should obliterate both easily. Is more skilled as a ninja, is more experienced by far than both...is stronger than both and has better taijutsu than both.

Kagebunshins? tsunade can take like 100 clones every hit if she wanted to. Gammabunta? she has her own summon to keep him busy. Rasengan? come on.

Sakura is miles away from tsunade. Sakura i think is not able to even handle naruto if both fight for their lives. Tsunade knows all what sakura knows and much more. One serious move from tsunade and sakura would be as much as death leaving naruto no way to safe her......

Well, IMO tsunade cannot endure a close combat fight against that little fox. He is too brutal to be compared with human levels in melee combat. Her best bet would be to land a super uber blow to him and destroy him instantly....or to summon her animal and sacrifice him or something to find an opening and land a definitive hit....and well...hope for the best.

Orochimaru is in my opinion, much more clever than tsunade, in close combat (with all his tricks and such).... and he was barely able to evade kyuuby´s rushes. Tsunade would be death in no time against that thing.

I'm assuming that Naruto cannot use the Kyūbi's powers far enough to transform, as that would defeat the purpose of putting him in a team with Sakura.

In which case, Tsunade should have no trouble here. With fast use of tsūtenkyaku and such she can throw them off balance if they come at all close, and with her experience and knowledge of Naruto she probably won't be tricked by any kage bunshin use (tajū kage bunshin is also no trouble – she'll just send shockwaves through the ground with a kick).

If things get rough she can activate sōzō saisei, at which point neither of them have any attacks that can hurt her.

I dont think many people are giving Tsunade credit. shes the Hokage and is going to know more than how to punch hard and summon. realistically she would be on Oro's level or just below it. she knows how naruto fights and taught sakura. i dont even think its a fight. and if you want to look at levels its a gennin and a chunin vs the Hokage

This Naruto won't be beating a Hokage. That's all there is to it. Sakura, as someone who uses the fighting style Tsunade created at an inferior level, wouldn't be much help either. Tsunade and Katsuyu should take care of them pretty efficiently.
