Deidara vs. Kisame

Hmm...it's clear most of you believe Itachi would kill Deidara in a battle one on one, but then what about Deidara versus Kisame?

Even though we have seen very little of their abilities, and we don't know who is best when they go all out, I would say Deidara. I can't imagine Kisame as specially clever, and Deidara seem very good at setting up different strategies.

Deidara takes to the skies, and has an advantage in that he can avoid all of Kisame's water, and with his analytical abilities he can find a way to beat Kisame.

Hell, Kisame's amazing stamina won't help him. He'll waste far more chakra than Deidara will avoiding.

Flying in battle seems natural for Deidara, and while he's in the sky Kisame would struggle to hit him at all. He may have jutsu that can reach that high, but Deidara's bird is very maneuverable, he should be able to move before they hit.

Meanwhile, Kisame doesn't have much of a way to defend against the explosives.

So Deidara should win.

This is kind of a like a remake of the Gaara/Deidara battle. I say Deidara takes this by the same way he beat Gaara. He creates a decoy to sneak one of his explosives close to Kisame.

Deidara for the win. The air advantage not only allows him to avoid most of Kisame's moves but it also gives him time to think up a good strategy.

Kisame is at a big disadvantage here, but we do not know what effect water has on Deidara's clay, and if it does what i think it does, then Deidara, after a Water element Shark missile technique, will be falling out of the sky on a melting clay bird, and the advantage swinging Kisame's way. If Deidara falls into the water, then 5 man eating sharks who are unnaffected by explosives eat him until Kisame decides to kill him.

It's a tie.

Most people think that Kisame is at a disadvantage because Kisame can't fly. But... Kisame can control the water that he spits out from baku suishoha. Kisame's sword has shown to withstand large explosions.

The reason Kisame doesn't win is because Deidara is also speedy, and so Kisame couldn't get a shot in. But eventually Deidara runs outof clay... and runs away... so tie.

it depends but i think deidara will win. deidara could run out of clay and kisame has a lot of chakra. if he manages to avoid all aerial attacks then he might have a chance. if not deidara will blow him into oblivion =/

Deidara can't find kisame under his lake, and decides to leave....later while deidara is inside a building kisame makes water(lol) and pwns him with his sharks. If deidara gets out kisame jumps out and cuts the petty coward in half with his overgrown cheese grater.

Kisame can hide under his water....even if deidara drops a really big bomb then kisame could just move away under teh water or throw it back at deidara he can manipulate the water pretty damn well so no matter the amount of explosives dropped kisame with his huge reserves of chakra can just keep spitting em back up. I think people are over estimating deidaras intelligence but that could be bias speaking

As much as I detest Deidara, and as sick in the stomach as I'm getting just by saying this, I'd have to go with Deidara on this one because Deidara is (struggles to hold down puke) a lot.... smarter.... than.... (grabs mouth, swallows, exhales deeply) Kisame. (Takes deep breaths) As much as it pains me to admit this, Deidara was actually pretty clever in his match against Gaara and Kisame, while strong as unholy Hell, doesn't strike me as being too smart. Deidara would probably sneak a couple of clay tadpoles or goldfish into the water from one of Kisame's jutsus and blow him to the nearest Captain D's when he gets close enough to them.
