Because every other Akatsuki we've seen would own Yamato (he might have a chance against Hidan), and Zetsu has greater authority than the other members, meaning he's very likely to be stronger, even if we've seen nothing of his fighting abilities.

I wasn't talking about Tobi, I was talking about Itachi, Kisame, Sasori, Deidara, Kakuzu, and Hidan. We haven't seen Tobi fight yet, but he's a rookie. Zetsu is a different story. He does have greater authority, because AL tells him to order the others, like he did with Kakuzu and Hidan. That makes him like a lieutenant while the AL a captain.

We've got different translations. In mine Zetsu talks as an equal.
Hidan and Kakuzu treat him as an equal as well. Hidan said: "You're just as noisy as he is"

And back to translation, mine is: "Rather than continue these lies, you'll need to search for the next one soon, I'll take care of Nibi."

Zetsu isn't superior to any Akatsuki, but because his abilities he conveys information and orders. That's all.

This is very laughable, Sakura would get raped by any member of Akatsuki, hell Sakura would get raped by Lee,neji, Kakashi Gai etc, none of which are Akatsuki lvl.
