Team DC/Marvel:
-Captain America
-Deathstroke
-Spider-Man
-Azrael
-Wolverine
Team Manga:
-Brandon Heat "Beyond the Grave".(Gungrave)
-Guts (Post-Eclipse...without Berserk Armor) (Berserk)
-Vash the Stampede (without Angel arm) (Trigun)
-Akabane Kuruodo "Dr. Jackal" (Get Backers)
-Nara Shikamaru (Post-timeskip) (Naruto)
Both Captain America and Shikamaru get 1 hour of prep-time to meet their teams and prepare an assault. All the members cooperate. So Deathstroke wouldn't have problems to obey Captain America and Akabane would accept orders from Shikamaru.
The battlefield is a forest where the fighters can ambush their opponents.

Afraid i don't know enough about some of the Manga people to make a call.
I'd say Slade would be a much better planner than Shikamaru. Without preptime and knowledge of his enemies abilities, Skika would have double planning against them.
Yeah I don't know who any of those manga characters are other than Vash and Shika.

you have Wolvy, Cap and Spiderman theres noone on that list who could beat all 3 of them even working together.

you put Akabane in there...you know the guy is a monster compared to the rest of his team right :/
I honestly can't see cap, logan or spidey being remotely capable of keeping up with him (the other 2 i am fairly unfamiliar with), heck if wolvy cuts him he'll probably assimalate the adamantium into his blood and gain the use of admantium scalpels as well xD
The hardest thing would be working out a way to stop wolvy from regenning :/

^ In what way immortal? I don't read the comics, so I don't know. Is it so that he can't be killed at all? Would he survive being cut down to tiny bits (if that were possible) or being completely incinerated?

Well during his Civil War tie in, he was caught point blank by a massive explosion that blew all his skin off his adamantium bones.. He regenerated his whole body in a matter of minutes.

Well, awhile ago it was revealed that whenever Wolvie was "killed" he would go to some place where he could choose whether or not to go into the light so to speak.
In short, he can't die unless he chooses too.

Sorry, that's... just... rofl. XD How cheap! That's even cheaper than Akabane's immortality. I mean, Akabane doesn't die unless he can't see that possibility occuring to himself (in essence, in Get Backers no one has managed to ever kill him permanently). But in theory, he at least CAN die. XD
Hm, I wonder what would happen if Wolverine stabs Akabane. I mean, he would absorb the Adamantium into his blood, allowing him to create Adamantium weapons as well. This will probably the hardest fight of them all. :/ To bad I can't really contribute much to the others since I don't know enough about the comic heroes. >__<

Wolverine can die too, if he sees that it is pointless too come back when he reaches the white light he would go into it. Whether he would do that is debatable.

Kirin, Wolverine himself said that he won't go into the light anytime soon. Something about unfinished businesses or something. This means, that for all intents and purposes, he won't die in this battle.

Seriously though, I'm leaning towards team comics, but Shikamaru with such a good team might prove to be pretty impressive.
And don't be scared by the regenerators, by knocking them out you get enough time to bury them alive or something like that. That would count as a vitory right? Unless his team unburies him again.

^ but how good can you bury people alive in a forest? I mean, in a way such powerful characters can't get out by themselfes?

No one in the manga team can even hope to cut adamantanium. From what I heard of it, it can survive planet busters unscathed

Unless you have Adamantium, then it's a draw. :P Which would be the case by the time Wolverine would stab Akabane, if it comes to that.:laugh
