Bullets have been known to actually be deflected by a bears skull. It is a very thick skull. Basically we are screwed, however I would survive. My bullet would be used to shoot somebody in the leg while I run away.

You're all looking at this wrong. When in doubt, use fire...forest fires!
Use one or two gunshots to start a fire (Or the two sticks method), check the wind, and then let it all buurn!

Fan the flames, let it get nice and big, and then let all the bears suffocate in the smoke. Hide in a nice deepish stream with damp clothes to prevent you from suffering the same fate.

You could also use a good fire to fashion nice sharp, long spears. And you could burn the trunks of trees through and then use the trees as a big-ass deadfall trap. Gotta use that honey somehow.

As for the sticky sex idea, it was a good thought Yagura, but no. Most OBD posters are male. I don't swing that way.

I doubt that anyone here is good to hit a charging bear with a handgun (seriously, bears are fast), and the few that actually got some formal training won't have enough bullets, and I doubt the forum could pull their shit togheter long enough to cooperate^^

I say grab a CD player, lure the bears in with honey, and put on something like Britney Spears, Christian Hits, or System of the Down, and watch the bears try to commit suicide to get away from it, though when we also remember that each NF member has a gun, I guess we'd also have the number of members lower dramatically...

Other then that, we can always toss AOL CDs at the bears until the get sick of them and decide to go bother people with better internet.

Realistically though :notrust , if I by some craziness got caught in a situation like this, even in a group I doubt I'd try to fend twelve angry bears off. If escape is easier than confrontation I'm taking the escape. It'd take a good reason for me to stay and fight.
