Ok, so Ive been wanting to make this thread for a while.

Chiyo vs Old Sarutobi, who will win?

I understand that Death God is inmediate death, but the "rule" is that this Jutsu is an inmediate tie.

Note: Chiyo's puppets all have Kunai/Needles traps (They werent shown in the fight because they dont work on puppets)... So add this to Chiyo's power. The weapons are poisoned because she used them before retiring.

Seriously I don't think Chiyo is stronger than Kakashi/Kabuto but why the hell are people overrating the old sandaime so much...Orochimaru would have effortlessly slaughtered him if it wasn't for the Shiki Fuujin. This guy can be cut in half and sandaime didn't even get a scratch into him with physical attacks.

Sandaime might win but it would atleast be a tough match.

I'm sure his overall experiences and wealth of jutsus would land him the win here.

Although Chiyo isn't to be underestimated either.

Any spread damage high rank Jutsu that Sarutobi uses will basically decimate the puppets, and then he will make short work of Chiyo.

It's simply a bad matchup for Chiyo, because Saru can use spread damage ninjutsu which are great for multiple opponents.

The only exception to something like this would be Sasori vs Saru or Kakuzu, because even with spread damage jutsus, Sasori has so many puppets that the opponent could run out of Chakra.

Old Sarutobi

Chiyo's Chikamatsu puppets laid siege to an entire castle. Chiyo herself is a war-seasoned medical genius with a vast knowledge of various strategies and techniques (as shown when she revealed a way to get around a Sharingan user in the fight against the Itachi clone). This will definately not be a cut and dry win for Sandaime.

The Chikamatsu puppet collection is comprised of the original 10 puppets created by the master himself, Chikamatsu Monzaemon. They are all masterpieces among his creations, and they can combine together to unleash special attacks. Three of them can actually perform ninjutsu, and almost all of them are outfitted with chakra-sealing devices.

Here's how Chiyo could win this:

1) Three Buddist Treasures Vacuum Destruction. Three puppets form a pyramid with a swirling vortex in the center, it sucks everything in range into it and shatters it into a million pieces. Sandaime is dead if he gets caught in this.
2) If puppet number three seals his chakra it's game over. No chakra, no jutsus.

Here is a more in depth look at the puppets individually:
* One: Extremely strong
* Two: Extremely tough body
* Three: Chakra-sealing orb in mouth which prevents opponent from using chakra
* Four : Forms the top portion of the Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Destruction technique with Six and Eight, bears the mark of "Buddha" in its mouth
* Five: Chakra blades, works with Nine
* Six: Forms the lower-left portion of the Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Destruction technique with Four and Eight, bears the mark of "Acts" in its mouth
* Seven: Large head-cleaving swords
* Eight: Forms the lower right portion of the Three Buddhist Treasures Vacuum Destruction technique with Four and Six, bears the mark of "Priest" in its mouth
* Nine: Works with Five, can extend its right hand on a chain to interlock with Five's left hand, then hurls Five at opponents
* Ten: Extending cords in skull which are used as piercing weapons

So Sandaime could win this, but I'm not going to just hand this victory to him as if it is a given. Chiyo could win this one, but again not easily. I'd say either one of them has a good chance of beating the other, but Chiyo has the advantage (numbers, weapons, etc.)

I think most people reply with either the "Hes Hokage" or "Strongest Shinobi ever" ideas... Or the fact that 99% of people underestimate Kugutsu no Jutsu.

Actually ImO Chiyo could actually win here, really ImO she showed more strength than Old Sarutobi.

Chiyo has 4 attacking puppets to attack Sandaime with, of which one can not just wound you but easily capture you (Bald puppet), the other that attacks with Chakra blades (Tenten puppet) and finally the puppet that has a long range, controlled windmill Shuriken made of Chakra (Little puppet and Oro puppet)

She can defend from the Katon with her own Chakra shield, as well as keeping those 2 Deffensive puppets along with her.

Finally, she can use the attacking puppets to lure Sarutobi to the Vaccum smash which would be his ultimate downfall and finally she has that Puppet which posseses 2 seasling attacks...

I understand that doing all this would be rather complicated even for Chiyo, and Sarutobi's taijutsu with the poll would be complicated, but ImO Chiyo has numbers and quiality on her side, as well as even ONE scratch being Sarutobi's doom.

ImO Chiyo wins.

People really understimate Chiyo. Or the puppeteer ninja.
The puppeteers are VERY dangerous, they can end (and they do end) a fight with a single blow. If a puppet (always full of poison) can hit the enemy (even if it's just a scratch), the fight is over.

And, among the puppeteers, Chiyo is top (just below Sasori, but still a master). She is very dangerous, has the strongest puppets ever, is a master of poisoning, a medical ninja and the Shield of Chakra are really something.
I can't see Chiyo being weaker than Kakashi, in my opinion she is Kage level (or almost).

Of course, Sarutobi is the shit. He has like millions of jutsu and all this things that could destroy a lot of puppets (but Chiyo can control they very well to avoid attacks easily) and Enma is there to protect him.

In my opinion: Chiyo would have a really hard fight, but would end up landing a hit in Sarutobi, poisoning him. Sarutobi would realize that he lost and Chiyo will center her efforts just in avoiding the attacks until the poison takes it time, so he would just go with the Shinigami thing causing a double KO.

So, a draw.

Kagebunshin are really important in a fight like this. Sandaime would waste his low chakra and be forced to attack ten puppets manipulated by a master puppetterrs. These puppets covered in weapons coated with poison and traps. One scratch and its over for Sandaime.

I would go with the third due to Jutsu knowledge and the ability to summon Enma with this it should be good match
