View Full Version : TS Kankuro vs. TS Kabuto....

Panic Attack

Ok..as with all my battledome threads i'm gonna be specific here.

Rules:
1. Anything goes/bloodlusted.
2. The terrain is a slightly forested area, similar to the area where Kakuzu fought Naruto.
3. There is no prep time.
4. Kankuro has all 3 of his puppets. ( for this fight assume Sanshouo is nothing more than a powerhouse meant to push his opponents around, since we have no idea what he actually does )
5. Kabuto has one basic antidote to use for countering poisons. ( may or may not work on Kankuro's poison, since all poisons are different )
6. Both are at 100%

Ok, there you go...Debate amongst yourselves and i'll interject when i see fit.

kankuro would rape kabuto...

Kabuto uses his doton jutsu and chakra scapels Kankuro's ankles and stabs him in the head.

Because Kabuto totally knows where Kankuro is...

I'll say Kankuro, because Kabuto has shown no way of finding people and Kankuro would be good enough to lead him into a trap.

I'd say the good ol' "that's not me, that's my puppet!" trick could easily get Kabuto. Kankuro can seal him up in that puppet of his, and then just skewer him.

I agree! Repz.

Kabuto would win with ease. Seriously, there is nothing Kankurou can do that would even harm him, let alone beat him.

I'm not going to make a full argument here at all, as it's late and I'm soon going to go to bed. I believe that Kabuto is ultimately more skilled here, and is not at a significant enough tactical disadvantage to lose. Puppets may be immune to his chakra scalpels, but Kankurou himself is not.

The balance between the two is delicate though: Kankurou with Hiruko would, in my opinion, be enough to defeat Kabuto unless Kabuto reveals some new, unexpected techniques.

Given the battle field, I doubt Kankuro will have much of a place to hide not the mention the chakra strings would give away his positions. The only way I see Kabuto losing is if he is not paying attention and caught in Kankuro other puppet.

Well Treeofsephri...People misconceive that you can see the strings of a puppeteer, you can't. Chakra is invisible to the naked eye and the strings are no exception.

@ Hinata's Fan...You underestimate Kankuro's puppets. Kabuto has no devistateing speed so he can't catch Kankuro so easily and even if he could Kankuro would defend himself with KuroAri.

You also seem to neglect the fact Sanshouo is on the field. I don't see how Kabuto gets past him.

Karasu is meant to keep his opponent on the defensive, so once Kankuro starts his attack kabuto will find it hard to attack Kankuro. If you think otherwise look at the Kankuro vs. Sakon/Ukon fight. Once Karasu got on the move Ukon couldn't retaliate. Not to mention when Kankuro and Shino fought, Shino was defending himself most of the time.

i totally agree with this, once kankuro starts, unless kabuto can continueally heal poisined wounds, kankurou takes this

kabuto cant beat up naruto... i dont even think he has a chance against kankuro...

Kabuto is the victor without too much difficulty. He's already shown that he outstrips Tsunade's two apprentices, and got back up from a swipe from KN3 like it was nothing.

Giving him an antidote is like giving 5 bananas to a bloodlusted monkey. Chakra scalpels on Kankurou's hands, and its over.

Edit: You have to realize that medic nins have the best evasion of anyone else. Sakura was dodging dozens of Sasori's puppets in an enclosed cave, Kabuto(a superior medic nin) will be able to evade Kankurou's 3 puppets without his glasses.

I do agree with his being able to take punishment but you seem to have not read the rules i set. The poison "May or may not work" thus it gives it a small chance of working.

Also, Kankuro is not going to stand and let Kabuto attack him. The area is slightly forested and it gives Kankuro a chance to hide and use his puppets. But like the poison that may or may not effect the battle. Hiding would be a big determining factor in my eyes though, because Kabuto has shown no tracking abilities so far.

In the end if Kabuto does manage to evade most of what Kankuro can do, Kankuro will have to win by making Kabuto drain most of his chakra.

no prep time?

that means kankuro would have to summon all his puppets, meaning not even the slightest chance of puppet body switch thing working. It also means its almost impossible for Kankuro to hide.

Easy doton and kill for Kabuto.

dude kabuto would lose to konohamaru, because kabuto looks like a nerd and probably looks like you as well.

I would say that the terrain and prep time favour Kankuro. Kankuro is a puppet master that also mean a mid range fighter. Kabuto is a highly skilled medic ninja but is an inclose fighter. Can he close the gap to take out Kankuro, I doubt it. He hasn't shown very good speed and has not shown any jutsu with range. The area is forest so he can easily hide within the battle and attack without being in danger. Kankuro wins this with marginal difficulty.

Kankuro wins this, but it would be a close fight. In the end there would be too much poisonous gas and needles for Kabuto to survive. He can't regenerate forever and after the first time he does, Kankuro will just attack him 3 or 4 times the next time to make sure he's dead.

The first thing Kankurou would do is hide, and then use his puppet as a decoy. Kabuto hasn't shown us any tracking abilities, so he wouldn't be able to find him, and while he is looking around, he will get caught in a trap and killed. Kabuto is just a weaker version of Sakura, imo, and unlike her, he has no antidotes or jutsus that can repel poisons or super strength to break out of the puppets.
