Okay for reals? Garaa loses to Kisame, ya'll forget that he can create water out of nothing and he has like an insane amount of Chakra along with that. Anime Gaara would more than likely win... Manga Gaara would probably lose due to Samehada's chakra-snatching abilities and Kisame's berserk fighting style AND level of chakra.

Kisame would be the obvious choice. However, with all of the world's sand conveniently placed in one desert, this gives Gaara a major advantage. Current Kisame has not shown any feats that can come close to giving him a chance against Gaara. Kisame loses.

Kisame wins. Why? he fought head up with Gai. Who's leagues faster than lee. So Gaara's sand isnt touching Kisame. As soon as the match starts, Samehada will shave his head off.
