Bio
Little is known about the early life of Bennet du Paris other than the fact that he was alive in the 12th Century and had encountered the Avenger known as the Black Knight, who inhabited the body of his ancestor Eobard Garrington during that period. On one of the Crusades, Bennet gave in to his lust for power and was trapped in one of Apocalypse's strongholds in the Swiss Alps.

Over the course of time, his latent mutant powers were awakened and enhanced until he was liberated by Magneto in the 20th Century and was brought to Magneto's base on Avalon.

As Magneto's lieutenant in the Acolytes, Exodus replaced Fabian Cortez, who had betrayed Magneto. Exodus encountered numerous mutants and attempted to recruit them as Acolytes for Avalon, with some margin of success.

When Professor Charles Xavier wiped Magneto's mind clean in an attack by the X-Men on Avalon, Exodus took command of the Acolytes. Soon after, Fabian Cortez resurfaced in Genosha, where he had taken Magneto's granddaughter Luna hostage. Exodus encountered and defeated Cortez in the sewers underneath Hammer Bay, the capital city of Genosha.

After the Genosha affair, the Acolytes found and retrieved a cocoon made of ice from orbit around Earth. The cocoon was found to contain the mutant Holocaust, who had traveled to this reality from the Age of Apocalypse. Exodus and Holocaust battled, resulting in the destruction of Avalon and the scattering of the remaining Acolytes.

Exodus soon reappeared to track down both Cable and the mutant known as X-Man. Cable and X-Man defeated Exodus, and trapped him in a rapidly closing crevasse.

However, Exodus somehow survived and later came into conflict with the High Evolutionary, who occupied Wundagore Mountain where Magneto's children were born, and usurped control of the citadel there. Exodus and his Acolytes was ousted by the combined forces of the Heroes for Hire, Quicksilver, and the Knights of Wundagore, and he was buried once again inside a mountain.

Exodus later appeared once more in Genosha, disguised as Magneto, and sought to bring peace to the tiny island nation by using his psionic powers, boosted by technological enhancements provided by the captured Forge, to spread his controlling influence. After his charade was revealed by the X-Men, Exodus revealed he was attempting to recant on his bigoted beliefs for the sake of all humanity, using Genosha as his first act of penance. However, without his controlling influence the island soon erupted once more into civil war and Exodus was left to despair.

Exodus subsequently attempted to ensure the end of human tyranny as the leader of the new version of the Brotherhood of Mutants. His team attempted to destroy the Xavier Institute but most of them, including Exodus, were sucked into Shen Xorn's void in the end of the battle. The Brotherhood of Mutants ended up in Mojoworld, where they sold Nocturne and Juggernaut to Mojo for cash and such. Because three of the characters to make the trip(Juggernaut, Mammomax, and Nocturne) have returned, it's possible that Exodus is back, too.

In the future of the X-Men 2099, Exodus also encountered the young group of mutants known as X-Nation, killing Clarion as well as several of the villainous Wild Boyz.

Exodus is a mutant who possesses vast psionic powers. He has shown the ability to telekinetically lift at least 10 tons of weight, incredible telepathic powers, and the ability to project damaging psionic blasts. Exodus can also teleport as well as drain anothers' energy to replenish his own.

Bio

Bobby Drake discovered his mutant power to create ice while in his early teens, yet kept his condition hidden from everyone but his parents. When bullies attacked Bobby and his girlfriend, the youngster panicked. He temporarily encased their ringleader in ice, thus revealing his abilities for all to see. Believing the boy to be a menace, the townspeople organized a lynch mob. They broke into Bobby's home and overpowered him, but the local sheriff took the teenager into custody for his own protection. Meanwhile, the situation had come to the attention of mutant telepath Professor Charles Xavier - mentor to the X-Men.

Professor X dispatched his first X-Man, Cyclops, to contact Bobby. Cyclops stole into the jailhouse as planned, but the two began fighting when Bobby refused to accompany him. Caught by the lynch mob, Cyclops and Bobby were about to be hanged when they broke free. Professor X used his psionic powers to halt the townspeople in their tracks and erase their memories of Bobby's abilities. A grateful Bobby then accepted Xavier's invitation to enroll at his School for Gifted Youngsters, home to a handful of troubled teenagers learning to control their strange powers... and fighting to preserve their teacher's dream of peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants.

Hated and feared by humanity, the X-Men honed their amazing abilities while standing in defense of a world pushed to the brink of genetic war by a handful of mutant terrorists. Iceman, the team's youngest founding member, became known as the comedian of the group. Regardless, he pulled his weight and worked well with rest of the X-Men. When the island-being known as Krakoa took Iceman and his teammates captive, Professor X assembled a second squad of X-Men. These new recruits rescued Xavier's original students, most of whom left the team soon after.

For a time, Bobby attempted to live a normal life. Eventually, he joined the Champions of Los Angeles - a short-lived team of costumed adventurers founded by the high-flying Angel, Iceman's classmate at Xavier's school, and consisting of Hercules, Black Widow, Ghost Rider, and Iceman's then-lover Darkstar. When the Champions disbanded, Bobby went to college to study accounting. Later, he joined the Defenders - originally a loose-knit collection of loners like the Incredible Hulk, the Sub-Mariner, Doctor Strange, and the Silver Surfer. Iceman helped reorganize the team into a more formal and cohesive unit - along with Angel and the blue-furred Beast, another of the Professor's original students. The Defenders disbanded when several of their members appeared to perish during a climactic battle with the Dragon On The Moon.

Shortly after the Defenders' apparent demise, Bobby joined the other founding X-Men to form X-Factor. During this period, the Asgardian trickster Loki increased Iceman's powers to such an extent that he was forced to wear a power-dampening belt. Once able only to sheathe his own body in a protective coating of ice, he now could encase the entirety of the Empire State Building. With time, Iceman gained sufficient control over his augmented powers that he was able to jettison the inhibitor belt. Believing he had achieved his full potential, Bobby never attempted to push himself beyond his perceived limits.

When Professor Xavier returned to Earth following an extended absence in outer space, Iceman and the other members of X-Factor rejoined the X-Men. Shortly thereafter, Iceman confronted former Cosmonaut Mikhail Rasputin, reality-warping brother of his steel-skinned teammate Colossus. Rasputin forced Bobby into a form composed entirely of ice, affording the young mutant a glimpse into his true nature. Subsequently, Bobby began experimenting with his abilities - using ice to add mass to his slight frame, or lift himself high into the air without the benefit of his usual slides.

Months later, the psychically incapacitated mutant telepath Emma Frost took mental possession of Iceman. Frost was able to activate the full extent of Bobby's powers. Until coaxed back into her own body by Professor Xavier, she pushed his form to the limit. With Frost's prodding, Iceman later learned to transform his body into its full-ice state on his own.

Iceman took a leave of absence from the X-Men to spend more time with his father who had been injured by the grass roots anti-mutant movement known as the Friends of Humanity. He returned briefly to the X-Men to rescue Cecilia Reyes from Prime Sentinels during Operation Zero Tolerance, after which he returned to his father's side.

Two subsequent events served to shed further light on Iceman's untapped potential. To secure a new host body, the would-be conqueror Apocalypse sought to siphon the awesome energies of "The Twelve" - mutants of incredible power, destined to alter the course of human history. Among their number was Iceman, who survived the ordeal thanks only to the apparent sacrifice of Cyclops.

A second defining event occurred when the sentient spaceship Prosh escaped the confines of a Celestial prison, returned to Earth and dispatched a group of disparate beings on a journey through time to uncover the keys to preserving human evolution. Their mission: Save the human race from a threat that might not manifest itself for millions of years. When Prosh reassembled the members of his team in the present, they fought and defeated the enigmatic alien entity known as the Stranger, who sought to control the natural evolution of humans and mutants.

These experiences forced Iceman into the realization that he no longer need fear the evolution of his abilities, and he returned to the X-Men to explore his mutant powers to the fullest.

During a battle against Black Tom, Iceman was injured by the Irish mutant. This has seemed to trigger a secondary mutation within Iceman, as his body was turning into ice and he couldn't reverse the process. When Iceman's transformed body was destroyed in a battle, he formed a new body but changed permanently to ice. He's romantically involved with Polaris and keeps fighting over her with Havok, the current leader of their team.

Iceman was able to lower his external and internal body temperature, thereby radiating intense cold. In addition, he could transform himself into ice at will and freeze any moisture in the air around him - thus generating slides, shields, bats and other objects. He is immune to sub-zero temperatures. He was unable to change back to human anymore, but, apparently, could still eat.

When the deranged Scarlet Witch warped the reality to temporarily create the world ruled by the House of M, Iceman was part of Apocalypse's Horsemen in this reality.

Following the M-Day, Bobby seemed to be one of the vast majority of mutants who lost their powers, thanks to the Scarlet Witch's reality-changing ability and her desire that there be no more mutants.
However, Bobby was soon back in his ice form after Emma Frost had used her powers to help Iceman reconnect to his powers. It was the shock of M-Day and his great fear of losing his powers that caused Iceman to cut himself off from them. Iceman was now again able to change back to human form but his ice form is colder than before.

Iceman's ice form is no longer smooth all over. His hair, the back of his head and neck, and his arms are spiky. Iceman has difficulty controlling his own movements, with ice spikes tearing through his shirt while he was arguing with Cyclops. He has also been seen having ice spikes on his body also in human form.

Bio
Jean Grey is the younger daughter of John Grey, a history professor at Bard College in New York State, and his wife Elaine. When Jean was ten years old her best friend Annie Richardson was killed by an automobile. Jean's outpouring of emotion as she held her dying friend activated her latent telepathic powers, causing her to experience Annie's own emotions as she died. Traumatized by this experience and unable to control her newly awakened powers, the young Jean became severely withdrawn and depressed.

When she was eleven, Jean's parents took her to meet Professor Charles Xavier, who realized she was a mutant and treated her for several years. Xavier erected psychic shields in Jean's mind to prevent her from using her telepathic powers until she had become sufficiently mature to control them, and he taught her how to use her emerging telekinetic abilities. Finally, when Jean was in her middle teens, she joined the X-Men, a group of other young mutants whom Xavier was training in the use of their powers, and assumed the code-name Marvel Girl.

Jean soon fell in love with her fellow student, Scott Summers, a.k.a. Cyclops, but for years they were each too shy to express their feelings for each other.

Xavier finally removed the psychic shields from Jean's mind when he was faced with the threat of the alien Z'nox. Since then, she has proved highly adept at using her telepathic powers.

Jean left the X-Men shortly after Xavier recruited a second team of students, but continued her romantic relationship with Scott. Shortly afterwards, Jean and other X-Men were abducted by Stephen Lang's Sentinels to Lang's orbiting space station. After defeating Lang, the X-Men had to escape back to Earth in a space shuttle through a lethal solar radiation storm. The pilot's cabin lacked sufficient shielding against radiation, but Jean insisted on piloting the craft herself. While she was dying from radiation poisoning, the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force appeared to Jean. The Phoenix Force created a body for itself that was identical to Jean's, duplicated her memories and personality, and absorbed a portion of her consciousness. It then guided the X-Men's shuttle to a crash landing in Jamaica Bay off New York City. The Phoenix Force cast the real Jean into suspended animation within a strange coccoon that rested on the bottom of Jamaica Bay while slowly healing her.

Under the name Phoenix, the cosmic being joined the X-Men, who believed it was the real Jean. Months later, the X-Men's foe Mastermind began mentally manipulating Phoenix's mind, ultimately brainwashing her into becoming the Black Queen of the sinister Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club. In the process he inadvertently caused Phoenix to turn insane, becoming Dark Phoenix, a danger to the entire cosmos. Ultimately, the portion of Jean's consciousness within Phoenix resurfaced and caused Phoenix to commit suicide rather than wreak further destruction. Upon the death of the Phoenix Force's physical body, the portion of Jean's consciousness it had absorbed returned to Earth and ultimately was reabsorbed by Jean.

Eventually the Avengers found Jean's coccoon in Jamaica Bay and turned it over to the Fantastic Four for study. The real Jean Grey then released herself from the pod, fully healed. She was reunited with Scott and the other original members of the X-Men, and together they founded a new team, the original X-Factor. Later, after a clash with the Shadow King on Muir Island, Jean and the other members of X-Factor rejoined the X-Men.

Jean was then believed to have been killed by Sentinels during their attack on the Hellions, but she survived by transferring her consciousness into the comatose body of Emma Frost.

Some years later, Scott finally married the real Jean Grey. During their honeymoon, however, their spirits were transported two millennia into an alternate future and were placed in new bodies by the Askani cult. Their leader, Rachel Summers, the daughter of the Scott and Jean of an alternate reality, had also served in the X-Men under the name Phoenix. As Slym and Redd, Scott and Jean spent years in that future time, raising Scott's son Nathan, who had earlier been brought to the future. Eventually Scott and Jean returned to their own time and bodies, leaving Nathan in the future to become the heroic warrior Cable. In Rachel's honor, Jean adopted the code-name Phoenix when she returned to the X-Men.

After Professor X disbanded the X-Men to ferret out a Skrull imposter, Phoenix and Cyclops formed a new team of X-Men to aid the Mannites against the newest of Apocalypse's Horseman named Death.

Most recently, Jean assumed the position of Acting Headmistress of the Xavier Institute following the public "outing" of the X-Men as mutants by Xavier's sister Cassandra Nova, who had switched bodies with Charles. As Xavier, Nova left Earth under the premise of forging closer relations with the Shi'ar Empire, leaving Jean in charge.

During her brief tenure as Acting Headmistress, Jean almost single-handedly repelled an attack on the School from John Sublime's U-Men, manifesting a Phoenix raptor in the process. This has led to some concern amongst her fellow X-Men as to the possible return of Dark Phoenix.

Jean was instrumental in engineering the defeat of Cassandra Nova, who had fooled the Imperial Guard into attacking the X-Men. Jean took Xavier's consciousness into her own mind, then used the X-Men's mutant detecting computer Cerebra to place a piece of Xavier's psyche in the mind of every mutant on Earth. When Nova went to use Cerebra to wipe out every mutant with a single mental blow, she unwittingly relinked Xavier's psyche and Charles managed to force her out.

Jean is an extremely powerful telepath, second only to Xavier in terms of level of power. She shares a psionic rapport with her husband Scott which keeps them in constant contact. Jean is also a powerful telekinetic, able to levitate herself, other living beings, and objects.

Bio
As a small boy, the man once thought to be Erik Lensherr witnessed the murder of his family by Nazis. An Auschwitz survivor, he was determined that such atrocities will never be committed against mutant-kind, and was once willing to use deadly force to protect mutants. He has several times expressed the belief that mutants, whom he calls Homo-Superior, will eventually be the dominant life form on the planet. He wavered between wanting to exist in harmony with Homo-Sapiens, wanting a separate homeland for mutants, and wanting to enforce his superiority over all humanity.

Fearing another Holocaust, he took an aggresive and lethal stance against humanity. The X-Men battled Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants time and again until he was reduced to infancy by Alpha, one of his own creations. The baby Magneto was transferred to Muir Island, where Moira MacTaggert attempted to control his rage by manipulating his DNA, in the hopes that the world would be spared Magnus' wrath when he grew up.

Magnus did grow up, but faster than expected, as Eric the Red used Shi'ar technology to bring Magnus to adulthood only a few months later. Magnus returned to his old ways, even going as far as destroying a Russian city with a rerouted magma flow and sinking the Russian sub Leningrad with all hands aboard. Although Moira's procedure would later be proven a failure, the "new" Magneto eventually felt remorse for his actions and turned himself over to the World Court, to be tried for crimes against humanity.

Magnus would surely have been found guilty, except for the intervention of Fenris, who attempted to assassinate Magneto, Xavier, and Gabrielle Haller - the trio of friends who had foiled their father Baron von Strucker's plans years before. The courthouse was destroyed, and Magnus and Xavier were left alone as Xavier's body deteriorated beyond repair. As Corsair, along with Xavier's love, Lilandra, came through a Stargate to bring Xavier back to the Starjammer where Shi'ar technology could heal him, Xavier made Magneto promise to protect their dream, and to take over as Headmaster of the School for Gifted Youngsters.

While the X-Men were more or less independent, Magnus did supervise the New Mutants until he applied for and was appointed to the position of White King of the Hellfire Club. After the Inferno, Magneto was alone again, and reappeared briefly in the Savage Land where Zaladane, a servant of the High Evolutionary, had taken control of the Savage Land Mutates - more of Magnus' creations. While preparing for the inevitable confrontation, Magnus saved Rogue from a twisted version of Ms Marvel that had been generated upon her return from the Siege Perilous. Rogue and Magneto teamed up with Ka-Zar and S.H.I.E.L.D. to defeat Zaladane, but afterwards Magnus dropped out of sight again.

He returned when a group of mutants known as the Acolytes begged him to step in and help the mutants who were being oppressed and enslaved in Genosha. Magneto agreed, and when the X-Men tried to stop him, the Acolytes captured them and they were brought to Asteroid M to be "reprogrammed" by Moira, who was also being held captive. The process, however, was a failure, and during the ensuing battle, Magneto was severly injured. The Acolyte Fabian Cortez, who claimed to be healing Magneto, was actually using his power-amplification ability to mask Magneto's pain, but letting his "master" weaken in the process. Cortez further betrayed his leader when he triggered the nuclear missiles Magnus had set up around the asteroid. It took all of Magnus' power to keep the station from blowing up, but the damage was too severe.

While the X-Men escaped, Magneto and the remaining Acolytes crashed to Earth. Months later, the wreckage was discovered, and Magneto was missing, implying that he had survived. He returned, stronger than ever, to a larger, more fanatical following of Acolytes, and co-opted the remains of Cable's space station, Graymalkin, into a new orbital base he called Avalon. When Magnus threatened the Earth once more, Xavier and the X-Men journeyed to Avalon where, after physically pulling all of the adamantium out of Wolverine's body, his mind was wiped by Professor X and he remained on Avalon in a vegetative state. When a battle between Holocaust and Exodus destroyed the orbiting base, Magneto was placed in an escape pod by then-Acolyte Colossus and crashed to Earth.

For a time it was believed that the man called Joseph was a rejuvenated Magneto, but this theory was disproved when the X-Men were returning from the Shi'ar Empire, Magneto forced their spaceship to crash in Antarctica near his old base and, posing as Erik the Red, forced Gambit to stand trial for assembling the Marauders and his precipitation of the Mutant Massacre. Upon sentencing Gambit, Magneto destroyed his former base and left, leaving the X-Men to ponder the revelations about Gambit.

He then went back into hiding, emerging only briefly to kill the master forger Georg Odekirk who had created the "Erik Lehnsherr" identity for Magneto years ago. After a few more weeks of preparation, Magneto launched his offensive: another electromagnetic pulse that began to spread across the globe. This time, he was attacked by Astra, a former member of the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and the creator of Joseph, who was revealed to be a clone.

Apparently, after the fall of Avalon, Astra found Magneto and healed his mind, so that she could use his DNA to create a clone. She intended for the clone to kill Magneto, but the Master of Magnetism proved too resourceful, and was only injured, while the clone became an amnesiac. Astra had Joseph attack Magnus while he was controlling the Earth's magnetosphere, which severly disrupted Earth`s magnetic field. It was all Magnus could do to keep from becoming pure electromagnetic energy. The intervention of the X-Men distracted him, however, leaving Joseph to fix the magnetosphere.

Magneto was briefly subdued by the X-Men as Joseph made the ultimate sacrifice to destroy his template's machines, but before the battle could resume, a U.N. ship landed in the Arctic Circle, and Magneto was offered sovereignty over the island of Genosha in return for some security considerations and a promise never to initiate hostilities against the nations of the world. Magnus accepted, but after everyone else left, discovered that his powers were gone.

Magnus recouped his strength and set about consolidating his political power and regenerating his physical power. He was opposed by a mutate, the son of the late Genegineer, as well as by Quicksilver and Rogue. After defeating the mutate Zealot's forces, however, Rogue left, but Magnus had Voght manipulate Quicksilver into staying as a member of the cabinet, in the hope that he would at last learn to be a loyal son.

Since the Twelve saga, during which Magneto was revealed to be a member of that infamous group, Magnus has found himself a new ally in Polaris, who has accompanied him back to Genosha in order to learn more about controlling the magnetic spectrum. Of course, Magneto had an ulterior motive, in that he could use Polaris as a conduit to tap into the magnetic spectrum and enhance his own weakened powers.

After a clash with the Avengers, Magneto used a device created by the Genoshan Genegineer to restore his powers to their full capacity, despite Polaris' best attempts to stop him. He then declared war on mankind, and began drafting mutants into an army with which to take over the Earth.

Magneto was stopped by an ad-hoc team of X-Men assembled by Jean Grey and was severely injured by Wolverine. Whilst he recuperated from the attack, Genosha was targetted by Sentinels controlled by Xavier's genetic twin Cassandra Nova. It appeared that Magneto was killed in this attack.

Magneto was briefly impersonated by Kuan-Yin Xorn, who thought that only Magneto was able to lead the mutants. Xorn was decapitated by Wolverine after killing Phoenix.

In truth, Magneto had survived, along with a handful of other Genoshans, who were later recruited by Professor X to rebuild the once-proud island nation. When Magneto's daughter, the Scarlet Witch of the Avengers, went mad over the loss of her children, Magneto heard her call and seemingly opened a wormhole to New York, where he collected the unconscious Wanda, and spirited her back to Genosha. There he asked Professor X to save her life. [Excalibur (2nd series) #1-8]

The deranged Scarlet Witch then temporarily warped the reality to create the world ruled by Magneto and his House of M, whose reign mistreated humans. Magneto was depowered when his reality-altering daughter, Wanda, almost succeeded in eliminating the mutant genome from the Earth.

Magneto remained in Genosha and began writing his memoir. Meanwhile the sentience of Shen Xorn (brother of Kuan-Yin Xorn) had gained control over the collective energy of depowered mutants and used the body of an energy-absorbing mutant named Michael Pointer to reach Magneto. Xorn wanted Magneto to lead the mutants and forced Magneto to regain his powers. Xorn’s sentience took control of Magneto’s body and animated the dead of Genosha, sending them against the Avengers. Magneto fought back and even asked the Sentry to kill him. Magneto was taken down by a pinpoint tremor directed to his head by Daisy Johnson. This freed him from Xorn’s control and left him unconscious. Xorn’s sentience was then trapped inside an energy field by Iron Man and flown into the sun by the Sentry. The unconscious Magneto was then taken aboard a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicopter, which exploded in the air. Magneto’s body wasn’t found.

The exact amount of powers that Magneto gained from the Collective has been unrevealed.

Bio

The daughter of Scott Summers and Jean Grey in an alternate timeline, young Rachel inherited her mother's potential for the telepathic and telekinetic powers that Jean Grey possessed as Marvel Girl.

In the "mainstream" universe's reality, the X-Men prevented Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants from assassinating Senator Robert Kelly, an investigator of the alleged menace that superhuman mutants posed to society. However, in Rachel's timeline, the Brotherhood succeeded in killing Kelly. The assassination caused intense widespread public paranoia against mutants. In the next presidential election, a rabid anti-mutant candidate won. His administration unleashed Sentinel robots, giving them an open-ended program with overly broad parameters to eliminate the mutant menace permanently. The Sentinels decided that the best way to do so was to take over the United States, and over the subsequent years they killed or imprisoned within concentration camps virtually all known mutants and other superhuman beings within the United States and Canada. Finally the Sentinels controlled the entire North American continent.

One summer morning, when Rachel was still a child, the X-Men's base of operations, Professor Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in Salem Center, Westchester County, New York State, was attacked and demolished by federal troops. The only survivor at the school was Rachel, whom the soldiers found by the side of Xavier's corpse. They used drugs to neutralize Rachel's developing psionic powers. Later, she was tortured and brainwashed in prison. Following extensive behavior modification, she became a mutant "hound," using her psionic powers to hunt down other mutants for the authorities, who would kill or imprison them. In the process, Rachel occasionally killed mutants herself, and it is known that some of those, who are as yet unidentified, were people she loved. Rachel's superiors branded her face with a grotesque pattern of tattoos to mark her as a "hound", and forced her to wear a leash. Rachel's grief and shame at what she was forced to do as a "hound", and her anguish over the deaths of her parents and other friends during the anti-mutant reign of terror has deeply scarred her soul, leaving her bitter and intolerant toward human beings who persecute mutants.

Eventually Rachel was placed in the South Bronx Mutant Containment Facility. Rachel used her psionic powers to create the illusion in other people's minds that she does not bear the tattoos marking her as a "hound", thereby concealing her shame. In the camp she rejoined the surviving members of the X-Men. She was instrumental in their plan to end the Sentinels' reign by changing history. Rachel used her psionic powers to exchange the consciousness and spirit of the adult Kate Pryde, a member of the X-Men, with that of Pryde's teenage self as she existed at a time just before the attempt on Kelly's life. It was hoped that the adult Kate, in her younger self's body at that earlier time, could warn the X-Men about the assassination attempt, and that the X-Men would foil it, thereby preventing the chain of events from occurring that led to the Sentinels' rule. However, history cannot be changed in this manner. Rachel, as it turned out, actually caused Kate to exchange psyches not with her younger self ("Kitty") in the past of her own reality, but with the Kitty of our own "mainstream" reality. Kate, in "mainstream" Kitty's body, succeeded in preventing Kelly's assassination in our own reality. She then returned to her own body in her own time and reality, causing Kitty's psyche to return to its proper time and reality as well. On her return, Kate found that other X-Men, except for Rachel, had all died in an attack on the Sentinels' Manhattan headquarters.

Kate Pryde still did not give up her vain hope of altering her reality's history. She hypnotized Summers into using her psionic powers to tap into the Phoenix Force and send herself back in time when Pryde said the words "Dark Phoenix". Thus Pryde hoped that Summers herself could change history. Together, Pryde and Summers illegally entered the laboratory of Project Nimrod, which was the attempt to construct the most highly advanced Sentinel possible with the technology of that time, in the hopes of sabotaging the project. Pursued by guards, Pryde and Summers locked themselves within the laboratory, whose walls were proofed against Pryde's power to phase through solid matter. Summers believed herself and Pryde to be trapped, but Pryde said the words that caused Summers to project herself back through time. Project Nimrod's creation, the Sentinel called Nimrod, then killed Pryde. Nimrod later went back in time to find Summers.

Summers found herself physically transported, body and mind, to a time shortly before the present. But like Kate's spirit, she had traveled not to the past of her reality, but to the past of this "mainstream" reality. She went to Xavier's mansion, but could not bring herself to stay on realizing that she had come back to the wrong reality, and fled without identifying herself. She went to Manhattan, where she was pursued by the psychic vampire Selene. Summers was rescued by the X-Men, and after her mind was read by Professor X, she was invited to join the team.

Rachel was shocked to learn of the supposed "death" of Jean Grey in this reality. Visiting the home of Grey's parents while they were absent, Rachel found a Shi'ar holempathic matrix crystal that Lilandra had given them. The crystal was imbued with an imprint of the essence of Grey's personality. Unaware that Jean was not actually the Phoenix, Rachel refused to believe that Jean could be evil, as people claimed Phoenix was, and she decided to claim the name and power of Phoenix as her own birthright, and through her own actions to redeem the name Phoenix in this reality. Rachel also believed that as the new Phoenix she could use her power to help her fellow mutants, and thereby atone for what she had done as a "hound" in her own reality. It was at this moment that she took the name of Phoenix while holding the crystal that Rachel first manifested about her the bird-shaped aura of energy associated with the previous Phoenix. It may be speculated that from that time on Rachel Summers was able to draw to a limited extent upon the power of the Phoenix Force. The alien Beyonder has hinted that Rachel could potentially become the equal in power of the previous Phoenix. Indeed, the Beyonder once granted Rachel the full power that the previous Phoenix had possessed, but he reclaimed it shortly thereafter.

Soon after, Rachel's fellow X-Man, Wolverine, severely injured her to prevent her from vengefully murdering Selene in the heat of passion. Fleeing to heal herself, she was fooled by the six-armed servant of Mojo named Spiral and taken to Mojoworld where she was held prisoner. Rachel escaped with the help of Kitty Pryde, Lockheed, Nightcrawler, and Captain Britain, and together they formed the British super-team Excalibur.

After many adventures, Rachel finally managed to return to the future she had come from. While she couldn`t change her past, she and her teammates were able to change the directives of all the Sentinels of the era to preserve all life, thereby ending the genocide that had prevailed for years. On the return journey, Captain Britain was lost in the timestream and it was discovered that Rachel had to exchange places with him for him to return. She accepted, and was carried to Cable's future where she founded the Clan Askani.

As the Mother Askani, Rachel was responsible for bringing Cyclops and Phoenix to the future to care for a young Cable, but this effort exhausted her old body and her physical form died. She lived on, however, in an astral form.

Some time later, Cable journeyed to the end of time and found a youthful Rachel being held prisoner by Gaunt, a man who had been imprisoned there for his crimes. Cable challenged Gaunt to a duel to decide the fate of Rachel and emerged victorious, returning Rachel to the present with him.

Rachel started college to further her education, but soon became embroiled in the Dark Sisterhood's attempted takeover of the United States. Rachel aided her half-brother Cable in defeating the Sisterhood and their leader, Finality.

Rachel was subsequently possessed by Elias Bogan, predator of mutants. She became his "mystery telepath", doing his dirty work, until she was finally freed by the X-Treme X-Men. This happened around the same time her mother, Jean Grey, was killed, and Rachel then took Jean's original codename, Marvel Girl. Marvel Girl joined Storm's team during the following X-Men roster shake-up, becoming one of the Marshals in X-Treme Sanctions Executive. She has also started to use the name Rachel Grey instead of Rachel Summers.

Note: The issue in which Captain Britain I met alternate universe opposite sex versions of some X-Men, including a no-codename-mentioned male Marvel Girl III, was "Uncanny X-Men" #462.

And I don't see how Exodus is stronger than Apocalypse in any wayy except perhaps just by TK. Apocalypse can do everything he can and more. He's fought the High Evolutionary and the Prime Eternal...who has Exodus fought?

Rachel is still the most awesome mutant out there, though.

Bio
Apocalypse was born nearly five thousand years ago in Egypt as a member of the Akkaba clan. Even as an infant, he inspired fear. Ugly and malformed, he was abandoned by the tribe to die in the harsh desert sun. The baby was found by a roving band of desert nomads whose leader, Baal, recognized the potential power in the child. He named him En Sabah Nur, meaning "The First One", and raised him as his own son. Nur was raised by the nomads, who thought him strong to be able to survive the desert as an child, and enforced the idea that "the strong will survive" - an idea that would shape Apocalypse's actions throughout time.

However, the Pharaoh of that era was actually not Egyptian at all, but a time-traveller named Rama-Tut who hailed from the 30th Century. Baal and his people had found Rama-Tut when his timeship first crashed in Egypt and had nursed him back to health, only to be betrayed by him months later as Rama-Tut led the Egyptian army to slaughter Baal's tribe. On the day of Nur's rite of passage, he and Baal were trapped in a cave, which after a week of wandering led them to Rama-Tut's timeship. Baal told Nur that he believed him to be a conqueror whose coming was foretold in ancient prophecies, and that Nur was destined to overthrow Rama-Tut. While Baal died, Nur's genetic make-up allowed him to survive, and he emerged a month later, vowing vengeance on Rama-Tut.

Nur was then captured by the Grand Vizier Ozymandias and forced to serve as a slave to Tut, but during a vision of the god Seth he manifested his powers and was eventually brought to the Pharaoh. Rama-Tut offered to make Nur his heir in exchange for his loyalty, but Nur rejected him. Nur defeated Ozymandias, and when Rama-Tut was forced back to his time by 20th Century heroes who had time-travelled, Nur began a path of conquest across the globe, leading his army on vicious campaign after campaign until finally he came to China.

There he learned legends of a flying immortal and set out to investigate, theorizing that this legend "different" like himself. Nur ascended a mountain and found the External now known as Saul, but then known as Garbha-Hsien. Saul sat watch over a Celestial Ship that had crashed on the mountain long before, but he had never ventured inside. Nur thought Saul foolish for not accessing the power inherent in that ship, so he rendered Saul unconscious out and entered.

It was this event that marked Nur's "evolution" into Apocalypse. He stayed in the ship for thousands of years, learning the secrets of Celestial technology and devising a suit of bio-armor for himself. This bio-armor grants Apocalypse the ability to change form, add mass from an extra-dimensional source to increase in size, as well as allow his body to become extremely malleable. Some of Nur's original body still existed as a decrepid form inside the armor.

Apocalypse uses the Celestial technology to "regenerate" for long periods of time, becoming more powerful upon each awakening. Apocalypse has had profound influences on many cultures over the centuries, and was worshipped by many cultures as a god. Over the course of the centuries, Apocalypse has picked those individuals he deemed "strong" and has tested them and rewarded the survivors with power. One such example was the a knight during the Crusader, one Bennet du Paris, a companion of the original Black Knight whose latent mutant powers were activated by Apocalypse. Apocalypse renamed him Exodus and intended for du Paris to serve him, but after Exodus rebelled Apocalypse imprisoned him within a tomb where he lay for centuries.

During one such awakening in the late 19th century, Apocalypse surfaced in London, England where he plotted to slay the royal family of the time. He found an assistant in the scientist Nathaniel Essex, whose own desire for scientific knowledge led him to foresee the mutants that would be abundant in these modern times. Apocalypse earned the allegiance of Essex, and turned him into the being now known as Mister Sinister. Fortunately, the Askani Sisterhood sent Cyclops and Phoenix back in time to prevent the assassination, but they could not stop Essex from becoming Sinister. Apocalypse then later used Sinister's expertise to re-engineer the genes of Ahmet Abdol to match those of Havok, enabling Abdol to become the Living Monolith.

Apocalypse is most noted for infecting the baby Nathan Christopher Summers with the techno-organic virus that caused him to be taken to the future to become Cable. Apocalypse's reasoning behind this most vicious scheme was that he knew of Sinister's bid to use the Summers' baby as a weapon to be used against his former master. Though Cable survived, the virus ensured that Summers would never be able to access his full power and thus be a threat to Apocalypse.

Apocalypse has added to his mutant powers by plundering technology throughout the ages. With superhuman strength, lightning speed, and his ability to teleport, he lives by only one rule: "survival of the fittest".

In an alternate timeline Apocalypse succeeded in taking over America in the twentieth century. In this timeline, Professor Xavier died at the hands of his son, Legion, long before he would have formed the X-Men. As a result, Apocalypse led mutantkind in conquering North America, reducing its human population to slaves. This was the alternate time period known as the Age of Apocalypse. However, in this reality as well, Apocalypse was ultimately doomed to failure, and perished in combat with Magneto, who had become the founder of the X-Men in that timeline.

Apocalypse has used many teams of villainous mutants in the past, but by far the most successful have been his Horsemen - Famine, War, Pestilence, and Death. When he re-emerged in the present day, Apocalypse turned his attention to X-Factor - a team consisting of the original X-Men. Apocalypse rescued the Angel from a suicide attempt and manipulated the misguided mutant into serving as his Horseman of Death. The newly-christened Archangel eventually broke free of Apocalypse's influence and rejoined his teammates.

The Hulk served for a time as the Horseman of War, and Caliban succeeded Archangel as the Horseman of Death. Recently, another bearer of the name Death surfaced, and after seemingly killing Wolverine - later discovered to be a Skrull impostor - it was revealed that the new Death was Wolverine himself. Apocalypse also converted Deathbird into War, Caliban into Pestilence, and Rory Campbell - the man who is one day destined to become the mutant hunter Ahab - into Famine.

After centuries of plotting, planning, and waiting, Apocalypse finally put his master plan into action. He gathered the Twelve - Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops, Phoenix, Iceman, Sunfire, Polaris, Bishop, Mikhail Rasputin, Living Monolith, Storm, Cable - in Egypt, intending to use them to boost his powers to a level beyond the Celestials' and alter reality to his liking. It was revealed that he had manipulated events on Earth for centuries, making sure that the Twelve would be born for him to use in his grand designs.

When things went awry and the Twelve broke free, Apocalypse attempted to use X-Man as a new host body to replace the one he had all but burnt-out. Cyclops intervened and seemingly sacrificed himself, merging with Apocalypse in an attempt to defeat the ages-old mutant. However, thanks to the merger, Apocalypse had become even more powerful, and warped time and space to confuse the Twelve into empowering him with their energy. The Twelve saw through the various timelines that Apocalypse had created, and the villain used the Living Monolith's power to teleport away - but not before Professor X could detect no remnant of Cyclops' psyche within the creature.

Bio
Cyclops eventually managed to assume control of his physical form, but struggled to keep Apocalypse from dominating. Fleeing to Egypt, Cyclops found himself pursued by three parties: the mutant assassin Gauntlet, who had been hired by Blaquesmith to kill Cyclops, thus preventing the threat of Apocalypse from ever returning; by Anais, who sought the return of her dark lord and wished herself to be the vessel through which Apocalypse would be reborn; and finally Cable and Jean Grey, who hoped to free Cyclops from Apocalypse's possession. In a climactic encounter, Phoenix managed to tear Apocalypse's spirit from Cyclops' body, and Cable fulfilled his destiny at long last by destroying the eternal mutant.

When the deranged Scarlet Witch warped the reality to temporarily create the world ruled by the House of M, Apocalypse was seen alive and with an empire in North Africa. Apocalypse took Magneto's offer to spread his empire by killing the Black Panther of Wakanda. The human outsmarted Apocalypse and he was killed by Black Bolt.

Apocalypse, looking the worse for wear, was somehow awakened yet again as a result of the Scarlet Witch drastically reducing the number of mutants in House of M. He chose X-Men to be three of his new Horsemen: Gambit (Death), Polaris (Pestilence), and Sunfire (Famine). Apocalypse found himself reluctant to unleash Pestilence on the world to fulfill his plan to reduce the population of normal humans by 90%. He wanted more the tent-dwelling mutants at Xavier's to take his blood serum first. His scribe, Ozymandias, suspected him of altruism, kindness, and craving the adulation of those mutants. Apocalypse wondered if he had been infected by some weakness or illness. Ozymandias attacked his master and was injured. He betrayed Apocalypse to the X-Men. When Havok's X-Men team destroyed most of the blood serum antidote, Apocalypse appeared before the U.N. with an offer: if the humans killed 90% of their own kind within a week, he would not unleash Pestilence. He would even destroy his meta-plague that could destroy ALL humans.

His plans were thwarted by a combined attack on his Sphinx by the Avengers, the Office of National Security (O*N*E*), and Havok's X-Men team (with Cyclops). Apocalypse was going to use what he called "the Infernal Machine" to make his Sphinx self-destruct, but Iceman broke the machine. It tore the membrane of space long enough for Apocalypse to escape through it.

However, the Celestials had originally given him his scientific riches in exchange for a payment to be named later -- centuries or millennia later.
Apocalypse discovered that "later" had become "now".

Apocalypse is not without family. His descendants are known as Clan Akkaba. Whenever Apocalypse's aid was requested by the clan, he would kill one of their members as a punishment for their weakness in needing him. He tended to sacrifice a member who had inherited his gray skin because he didn't care for them. Apocalypse and his minions killed many warlords during the Crusades. One of them was the warlord who became the vampire known as Dracula. Dracula, whom Apocalypse had not bothered to face personally back then, wanted vengeance. In 1897 he turned Hamilton Slade of Clan Akkaba into a vampire. Before the fighting was over, every member of the clan had been slain (most had been turned into vampires), except for Jack Starsmore and Hamilton's brother, Frederick. The rejuvination chamber that Apocalypse used back then was also destroyed. Dracula was temporarily destroyed.

Jack Starsmore was the great-grandfather of the X-Man known as Chamber. Frederick Slade, and some of his descendants, are still living.

I figured that there was some question in the Arena for the tournament over how powerful Shaman Nate Grey really was, what he's done, and also, what he could do. Would he just dump someone somewhere else on the spiral? What is in character and out of character? Hopefully this list will help some. And if someone can come up with a supplementary list of X-Man's feats, BEFORE he became the Shaman, that would be appreciated as well.

***
Shaman Nate Grey:

Powers and Feats:

*Can Fly (X-Man #63)
*"Telekinetically moved some of the chemicals in your brain around, shut down a few secretors." (X-Man #63)
*Can "see power signatures" ("Don't try to talk. My name's Nate Grey. I saw the power flow from whatever killed your friend in the elevator. If you could see things as I do... well, to me, it lit up half of Manhattan.") (X-Man #63)
*A powerful telekine, with 67 previous kills, attacks him with a full out attack, and Nate takes no damage, then shuts him down, blasting him a lethal psibolt then leaves him lying back in cracked concrete which was cracked as a result of the blast (X-Man #63)

*In X-Man #64, the narration describes Nate Grey as the following: "Mutant. Telepath. Shaman. Intermediary between powers. The Guardian of reality's door."
*Can break through telepathic blocks effortlessly -- "Don't get me wrong. Your telepathic blocks are excellent. But you've never met anyone like me before." (X-Man #64)
*The "Gauntlet", a group of powerful mutants, said that "the power you radiate is unbelievable." (X-Man #64)
*His power is so great that telepathic blocks are almost nothing to him -- "If I pushed your blocks any harder, I'd turn you into vegetables. I don't want to do that." (X-Man #64)
*His telekinetic and telepathic shielding stopped a downspiral monster from reaching him and the "Gauntlet" (X-Man #64)
*Crushed an entire house down on the creature (X-Man #64)

*Can fairly easily pick out 12 minds amongst 10 million people (he strained in X-Man #65 because he'd just come out of a big battle)
*Can at will leave the universe and travel anywhere on the Spiral (first appeared in X-Man #64-65 -- he disappears effortlessly in X-Man #65)
*Can survive in space and on planets with little to no air to breathe (X-Man #65)
*Can blast craters into ground (X-Man #65)
*Can catch boulders telekinetically and blast them into nothing (X-Man #66)
*While talking to a woman in the middle of New York, he telekinetically grabbed ten individuals throughout New York, raised them up into the sky, and blew them all up (X-Man #66)
*Transported a woman into one of the downward spirals, where she was trapped with the Downward Spiral creatures. (X-Man #66)

*Crushed an entire city, Quito, Ecuador, in just a few minutes, while in his sleep -- this is an example of his power levels BEFORE he was even Shaman, this is X-Man prior to becoming Shaman (X-Man #67)
*In X-Man #68, Nate learns from "Maddie" "what he is, what all Nate Greys have been on every Earth. The Ultimate Telekine, designed with a doomsday weapon for a mind. The climax of the evolution of weapons." (X-Man #68)
*Incinerated a woman with his mind until nothing remained (X-Man #68)
*Flew out of orbit, and then back into orbit at an extreme velocity, without taking any damage (X-Man #68)
*Nate is the first "truly functional Nate Grey" (X-Man #69)
*Learns how to use his telekinesis for damping pain centers in the brain, stimulating healing, neutralizing unbalanced body chemistry (X-Man #69)
*Can make the dead talk again ("It's a matter of tweaking the right neurons in the dead brain, of holding the vocal cords together and letting them vibrate. The trick is to facilitate it without pumping your own thoughts out a dead man's mouth.") (X-Man #69)

*Has the ability to make all of Asia die with a single, huge, blast (X-Man #70)
*Destroyed an entire mechanized futuristic city with a huge single blast (X-Man #70)

*Can create portals beneath him and disappear in them, while transporting passengers (X-Man #71)
*Took a full blast from Quabri, a being who killed Thor with such a blast, and didn't even stop or take any knockback from it (X-Man #72)
*Survived a few more blasts from Quabri, becoming unconscious, but that's still a good feat considering just moments later Quabri destroyed the entire planet (X-Man #72)

*On a planet with acid sea and acid air, Nate managed to put a shield around them to make them survive, even after he and two others landed in the acid sea -- it took a lot of effort, but "it takes most of my concentration to telekinetically filter enough oxygen from the air to breathe" (X-Man #73)
*Healed a fractured being from an upper spiral, putting three beings back together into one, who was on the same level of power as Quabri (X-Man #73)
*Effortlessly transported himself and the other being with power like Quabri's onto the spiral (X-Man #73)

*Transported himself to the highest place on the Spiral (X-Man #74)
*Can easily make one forget everything about their life, their existence, even if they're a powerful being from a different elevation in the spiral (X-Man #74)

*Caused an entire neighborhood to not see him ("I'm telepathically recircuiting everyone's mind. So they won't know I'm here. I don't want to scare them. But mutant minds are hard wired differently from Homo Sapien minds. Bypassing them demands special focus. A mutant might see me." (X-Man #75)

edit - I want to add that as X-Man (Prior to becoming a Shaman) He was able to augment his strength and durability to around class 85 and more.

X-Man can easily communicate over vast distances (the other side of the world literally, with Peter once without strain).

Was controlled by Madelyne to destroy a city in his sleep with a mere "thumbs down".

That Madelyne, later revealed to be Queen Jean, stated that Nate Grey was the ultimate mutant telekine on every Earth.

Nate is able to destroy the entirety of Asia with a miniature sun.

He's powerful enough to shatter the moon itself with a TK enhanced blow, as demonstrated in a realistic dream hynotized by a Techno-Gnome.

Able to teleport, even before Shaman.

Able to shunt others to other places in the Spiral, as Shaman X-Man.

Able to connect a Silver City dweller's mind across her fractured selves across the multiverse.

Nate implies that he was created to destroy worlds.

Able to literally resurrect the certain deceased; Madelyne was give a new body, and AOA Gwen Stacy was given form, despite the AOA timeline being fully divered into Earth-238.

Nate Grey is as powerful as the Dark Phoenix. But his body can't handle such power, and he risks burning himself out if he overexerts himself.

Is descended from Alpha, the First Mutant (the AOA equivalent to the Phoenix). Manifested a Phoenix effect later when flying in space.

Able to create psi-forms that exist independantly of his mind, as he did for the new arm for his friend.

It's implied that his powers at his peak would literally remake reality, although this could be a narrative hyperbole.

Able to manifest psi-armour that enhances his strength and durability.

All I can think of for now (it is over 75 issues of memory, so I can't remember everything on the spot).

Note, Shaman X-Man is more passive than "Jesus" Cable, but if pushed, he's more willing to kill

This respect thread needs some much needed updates. ^__^

Ill get on it soon enough.

I will categorize the feats and scans in 4 categories.

Within each category their will be a Sub Category.
Pre Shaman and Shaman

Telepathy

Telekinesis (aka Hard Psi)

Psi (aka Soft Psi)

Other

Pre Shaman X-Man, (Young Nate) as Moria puts it “An adolecent who is unprepared; physically, mentally, and emotionally to contain such devastating powers"

Pre Shaman Nate faces three major problems.

First - a fail safe device implanted in his genetic encoding made by AoA Mr. Sinister.
- It was meant to be used a safety percussion, in case Nate is left unchecked by Mr. Sinister (or in other words, If Mr. S cant have him. No one can).

Second - in a relax state, Nate faces a burn out. Eventually (upon reaching age 21), Nate’s body will not be able contain his power any longer, and his body would destroy itself. (this is a problem all alternate Nate’s deal with, including Nathan Summers *Cable*)

Third - His body faces limitation on the degree of power. Nate at all times (Pre Shaman, and Shaman), places restrains on his power out put. As is, (as Mr. Fantastic puts it) “his powers is staggering and off the charts”, yet he is still restraining himself. If Nate was to attempt to push father, it would be the end of him.
No human vessel is meant to carry such power.

So what is the significance of Pre-Shaman to Shaman?
Experience and problems 1 & 2.

Experience
Keep in mind that Nate is a test tube baby, and experienced an accelerated growth.
Upon reaching age 18 (in our standards), he has no formal training to cope with his powers.
We see how Nate copes with his inexperience, and progresses in his self knowledge.

Upon meeting an alternate reality Nate. Alt. Nate begins to merge with Nate Grey.
Exchanging genetic information with each other among other things.

The result? Nate Grey learns everything Atl. Nate has. Know Nate Grey has around 21 years of experience along with what he learned in the past few years. How experience and intelligent Alt Grey was, will never be known. But we see a vast difference with Nate Grey;

Nate Grey is now calm, and collected of himself (thus gain the ideology of a Shaman)
Nate Grey can now perform outrageous feats, that Pre-Shaman Nate has ever done.

Problems 1 and 2 are know solved. When Alt Nate merged with Nate Grey.
Nate Grey gained an “X” brand across his chest.
What it does is overrides Mr. Sinister’s fail safe device.
And the X brand can now keep Nates power from consuming its body (in relax form), thus expanding his life expectancy beyond age 21.

What can I say about Nates TP….other then he is a telepathic monster.
Possibly among most powerful (non cosmic) telepath out their.

High level telepaths are really watered down in comics.
Especially in Marvel.

Anyone character that does not have at least some resistance to TP. (excluding cosmic characters)
Would ultimately get mind raped, mind controlled, mind read etc…
As I am about to show you.
Nate has used his telepathy against, the Avengers, FF4, X-Men and much more.

Alright Feat that matches or even surpasses Xaviers comunication with Lilandra

I'm pretty sure he's communicated telepathically with Lilandra while she was on the Shi'Ar homeworld.

How about a telepathic communication to Majestrix in the Shi Ar Imperial Home world.

Nate TK varies from finite control (controlling matter, down to its molecules), to vast area (crushing entire cites at times).

With this TK, he can also improve his physical attributes, and propel himself (fly), or become intangible (phasing through solid matter).

With feats such as, splitting the ocean in half, leaving a crater in Canada, stopping an earthquake, and an avalanche. I get the impression that Nate is clearly above class 10 Ton T___T.

Legion, serious psi powers. Time traveling feat.

Vulcan, another psi character, it does not hurt to be an energy manipulator.

But I don’t think Nightcrawler is up their with them.

What about Scarlet Witch at House of Magnus level ?

Also, is this strictly mutants in the most literal sense ? Or are you willingly to expand the definition to include those with powers not unlike mutants, but not technically mutants. For instances, Makkurai and Blackbolt.

Scarlet Witch is a reality warper at least on the global scale. However, her reality warp was dangerous such that it breached "the walls of casuality", sending out a Chaos Wave that would have reduced "all that is" into a mere blob.

I think I can set up a Legion Respect Post -- I finished reading up Legion Quest a few weeks ago and am now trying to get through to New Sun.

And seeing he could travel throught time with his powers which i may be mistaken has only been done by Omega level mutants?

Legion was never classified as an Omega-level mutant.

And seeing he could travel throught time with his powers which i may be mistaken has only been done by Omega level mutants?

No Omega-level mutant has ever travelled through time. Known Omegas are:

-Franklin Richards
-Mr. M
-Rachel Summers
-Jean Grey
-Elixir
-Kid Omega
-Vulcan
-Iceman

Mr. Immortal is debatable, being Homo Supreme.

There are powerful mutants that are not classified as Omegas, such as Mad Jim Jaspers, Bendis' Scarlet Witch, X-Man, Cable at his full powers, New Sun, etc.

BLASMPHEY!!! Why has Rogue not been mentioned in this thread...? *Pouts*

:P

No, really, I do think she has potential to at least get into the top twenty - if not the top ten. During X-treme X-men, she gained the ability to recall past powers anytime she wanted, which I think should give her a spot. She may not have that ability anymore, but again, we're judging potential power are we not? I mean, look at all the people she's absorbed in the past: Iceman, Hulk, Phoenix, Thor, etc...

Those are some major powerhouses she's acquired over years...and to use them in tandem...

How can you NOT say she isn't more powerful than at least one mutant already mentioned.

Sometimes its hard to tell weather Nate is doing a psi, tk or tp feat.
Most of the time its due, to the fact that Nate likes to make cocktails (combine them).

So what is psi energy?
Apparently a fifth state of matter.
The Fifth State Of Matter, similar to bio plasma.
http://www.totse.com/en/fringe/fringe_science/psienergybiopl169520.html

In comics pseudo science…does this hold?
I cant really answer that question, but at one point Mr. Sinister did refer to Nates “Telemorphic Manifestations” as Psi-Plasma.
http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/5953/xman019reprintlarge12nb1.jpg

But to not over complicate matter.
Any feat other then pure TK and TP will be posted here, and regarded as a Psi feat.
(after all I did go through the hard work of posting, details feats in both TK, and TP).

So lets begin shall we?

Pre-Shaman

X-Man #0
Psychometry: a form of extra-sensory perception in which a psychic is said to be able to obtain information about an individual through paranormal means by making physical contact with an object that belongs to them.

In astral form, he is able to directly interfere with the actual world.

X-Man #3
What seems to be a psi blast.

http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/9741/xman004large15ns0.jpg

X-Man #5
Nate recreates an omega level mutant clone.
He recreates Madelyne Pryor. (Jeans Clone, Cables biological mother).
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/8898/xman005large21zh1.jpg

X-Man #10
Nate pulls Professor X out of the astral plane. (Sweet).
http://img466.imageshack.us/img466/3516/xman01015yf6.jpg

And injure’s Professor X, in his astral form.
http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4158/xman0101617fo9.jpg

X-Man #14
Nate fights another Psi mutant, Exodus.
But Exodus is not a slouch when it comes to Psi, TK and TP.
And more often then not, he is in control of his powers (unlike Nate).
Despite this, Nate overloads Exodus.
http://img466.imageshack.us/img466/1976/xman01415rf9.jpg

Note: Previously Exodus survived a joint attack from Xavier and Jean no problem.
This attack had placed Magneto out of commission.
So its interesting what Exodus quotes in his match with Nate.

“Can it be possible?….
So much power, such potential….
Hardly tapped yet….” - Exodus.

X-Man #20
Nate makes a psi clone. The clones are durable enough to withstand some beating from Abomination.

X-Man #31
Nate blasts hybrid.
http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/3876/xman03122oz4.jpg

X-Man #32
The author answers a latter, and states how Nate recreated 616 Maddie.
http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/8265/xman03223lpto0.jpg

X-Man #35
Nate deactivates some bombs with an Electro Magnetic Psi Pulse.

X-Man #37
Nate recreates AoA Gwen Stacy

X-Man #39
*Precognition Feat.* Stryfe vs. X-Man (pre Shaman).

It foreshadows his end, and the final battle….with non other then Stryfe.

http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/7517/xman03902zl3.jpg
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/3777/xman03903po8.jpg
http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/8568/xman03904vi0.jpg
http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/986/xman03905kl9.jpg
http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/7563/xman03906vr7.jpg

X-Man #40
It is explained that, When was having his vision. He uncontrollably lashed out his psi energies. Breaching a dimensional wall, the let in the 3 Great Beasts.
http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/4228/xman04011uf3.jpg

And Psi Taju Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!! (ok Psi projections).

In X-Man Annual 1998
Nate punches through Thanos power field.

Nate makes a psi armor, augmenting his durability and strength comparable to the Hulks.

Thanos has a hard time breaking Nates Psi Armor.

Note: notice how Thanos blast, incinerated the Hulk.

In the end, Nate decides to grant the Hulk the psi armor.
Consequently, this sky rockets the Hulks over stats (power, speed?, durability etc..)
Enough to take on, Thanos head on.

Ending Note: However powerful, Nate is. No I don’t think the current Nate could take on 100% Thanos. None the less, some of these feats are still impressive (despite Nate struggling through most of the fight). And to be all honest, you cant say Thanos was at a 100% if he was stuck in some other dimension.

In X-Man #63

Nate states he can see the flow of energy of what ever killed her friend.
Talk about a keen and diverse sense of eye sight (take that Sharing an >_<).

In X-Man #63
Nate projects thoughts from other mutants.

In X-Man 65
Ok this is just awesome. I was not sure if to place this in the TK or Psi feat.
But I guess it will go here for know.
Inter dimensional travel…..not limited to a single universe.
He can hop into alternate realities, thus walk through other universes.

Nate states he is leaving this reality.

Disappearing act (the prestige)

And know he is on broken Earth. (hold your claps and applauses).

In X-Man 66
If you think, Nate is limited to self reality traveling.
You are dead wrong.

He effortlessly teleports a mutant to broken Earth.

Nate can “see’ energy, and how it intertwines with the world.

That’s it for today. I wont be making massive posts in a single day (its tiresome and time consuming.)

But I will be updating regularly. I’ll bump this thread for every update ^__^

Ok we have seen this scan over the course of the years.
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/7229/nate4iu1.th.jpg (http://img165.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nate4iu1.jpg)
http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/7229/nate4iu1.jpg

It’s the scan that compares identical reading of Nates power to the Dark Phoenix.

And this is the only time they ever got the Dark Phoenix reading. Power comparable to Galactus.

Well I originally planed to add on, an existing respect thread.
But I don’t see a "Respect Thread" for Cable.

So I guess Ill shall make one. ^__^

Now let me be slightly clear, for know I only plan to focus on Cable during his Ubber days.

That’s right, so for the most part I will only post scans from “Cable #97-107, Soldier-X #1-12, and Cable & Deadpool #1-10”.

There is a small problem!!!. My Soldier X comics is incomplete T__T.
So if anyone could help, and locate Soldier X comics 5 - 12.
I would be vary thankful.

Ubber Cable, Omega Cable, Jesus Cable, God Like Cable….there are many nick names in reference to Nathan Summers when he was no longer hindered by the T.O.

He truly became a telepathic/telekinetic beast. So I guess its time to fully analyze Cable to the vary start of his T.O. purging.

I will attempt to explain the whole Soldier X era using scans from Cable, Soldier X and Cable & Deadpool.
However this is a problem. I don’t have Soldier X comics 5-12. Ill try my best to locate them, and borrow scans. If anyone could help, please upload Soldier X comics 5-12.
In Cable #97
Cable notices something funny with his T.O its acting funny.
