Sasuke vs Orochimaru

Ok, with with Chapter 343's ending, do you think Sasuke can really beat Orochimaru? Setting is where 343 ended.

If Sasuke is confident enough to take on Orochimaru now, he probably has the chance to be victorious.

Right now, Oro's body is rejecting him and he is weak which Sasuke most likely already had knowledge about.

I'd give it to Sasuke, of course we'd have to wait for next week's chapter.

I have no doubt Sasuke would be capable of taking down Oro in his current state, if it wasn't for the Curse seal...

I'm just hoping Sasuke has figured out how Oro can control it and atleast make Oro struggle hard to take him down.

Without any weird shit happening, Sasuke would probably destroy the sickly pathetic Orochimaru right now.

Orochimaru can barely even move, from what it looks like. I'd say Sakura could kill him right now.

Don't forget that Orochimaru was in the almost same state when he fought Tsunade&Shizune&weakened!Jiraiya&Naruto in part I. It's true that he had Kabuto (who can show up now, too, because he had a weird look on his face when he went away) and they were mostly about summonings, but you shouldn't underestimate him so much.

Oro's in a bit of a fix here. His body is failing him and he's not at full strength. Sasuke has a good chance of killing Oro and i wouldn't be suprised if he does next chapter.

I think Sasuke has a chance, but I doubt he will actually kill Oro during this arc. Oro is so sickly right now, and Sasuke has gotten a whole lot better.

Its not cowardly. Its just killing him while he has the chance. Sasuke probably planned this from the beginning. On topic, Sasuke will win in this situation.

It would be kinda anti-climactic if Sasuke just randomly kills the main villian of the series like that. I mean, he's in the position to, especially since he pierced his hands so he can't make seals.

But he has a few factors against him:
1) the cursed seal
2) kabuto can attack from behind (I think he's been waiting for this opportunity for a while anyway)
3) Sword of Kusanagi (Oro's) can move when Oro beckons it.
4) Manda(?)

So it will definately be on. But what would Sasuke do if he did kill him? Go find Itachi and fight him? Is this the signal of the beginning of the end of Naruto as we know it?

i have my money on sasuke, Oro is not lookin too good he might be able to beat him but i dont think hes going to kill oro, like the person previously stated before me it would be too anti-climatic.

In Orochimaru's current state and not taking the cursed seal in consideration, yes Sasuke can defeat him, but I think if it wasn't for Oro being in a weakened state he would beat Sasuke.

Oro is sickly but he still can defeat Sasuke right now. Sasuke should have simply escaped from Oro's lair. The easiest scenario is the cursed seal. He crippled anko with it when she tried him. Lets assume sasuke knows this and has an answer. Oro will defeat him, he knows all of Sasuke's moves and is still far smarter and also colder than Sasuke. Oro will win if this is a battle, if it is something else then we will see. I didn't expect a rebellion before he even faced Itachi.

sasuke can easily kill Oro.. sasuke has the sharingan.. its like the same when Oro tried to take itachi.. itachi easily defeated oro and said that as long as he has those eyes, Oro is powerless.. its like the same with sasuke.. Oro cant beat him as long as he has sharingan..

I posted this in another thread, but it makes more sense here.

In the manga, Sasuke would have beaten Oro at any level of Oro's power that is within conception. Why? Because Oro's ultimate goal in that battle was to gain Sasuke's body. It happened when Oro was weak because he was on the verge of taking Sasuke's body anyway. Sasuke took action because he had nothing more to learn from Oro, he could have taken Oro at any point after his Sharingan matured enough to take over Oro's inner realm.
It would have come down to a staredown in Oro's special place regardless of the preceding battle and Sasuke would have taken control with the Sharingan.

The battledome is a different story. In the battledome, Oro doesn't give a shit about Sasuke's body. If the same battle in the manga had been played out in the battledome, Sasuke would be helpless after he was paralyzed. Oro could simply have bitten his head off or poked him with a kunai.

Manga = Sasuke > Any Oro that wants his body.

Battledome = Sasuke < Any Oro period.
(At least until Sasuke shows a powerful ranged jutsu that he could use to avoid the paralyzing humors of the white snakes.)

... Sasuke could always use his longass chidori blade. i doubt the poison would be nearly as effective against a CS2 Sasuke in a place that's not cramped and dirty either.
