Naruto addiction.

Saw this idea somewhere else,and i'm bored so i thought i'd post it. I don't know if this is the right section for it either.

Symptoms of a Naruto addiction:

1. You buy a sharingan contact lens and convince yourself that you now have uber perception.

2. You practise handseals in your spare time and are confused as to why your Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Great Waterfall Technique) doesn't work even though you are standing next to a swimming pool and have been watching the episode with your sharingan lens on.

3. You hold a water balloon in your hand and try to burst it with your chakra but end up bursting it with a pin.

4. You try and cut water with your wind chakra.

5. You try and jump from tree to tree like a real ninja.

6. You find a frog in the garden and try and sign a summoning contract with it.

7. You grow curtains like Sasuke but then realise that although weird hairstyles look good in manga/ anime, they look ridiculous in real life.

8. You draw a cursed seal on your neck, but remembering that curse seals are permanent, you get it tattooed so it doesn't wash off.

9. You stand in front of a mirror and do the handseals for Kage Bunshin, and voila! you have made a clone.

10. You paint black mascara around your eyes and carry a gourd filled with sand. It breaks your back, but you convince yourself that an empty gourd is no use unless it has sand in it to protect you.

11. You cut off a fish's head and wear it as a hat so you can be Kisame for a day.

12. You squash every bug you see in case Shino is after you.

13. You run away from shadows in case Shikamaru is after you.

14. Try and walk on water and sink.

15. Draw a 5 pointed seal on your stomach and convince yourself that this is the reason why you can't channel your chakra properly.

16. Wear purple nail varnish so you can be 1337 like Akatsuki.


And thats all i have for now. Your thoughts??

1) learned the handsigns and practice them every day
2) I eat ramen (well, I eat cup of noodles) for breakfast lunch and dinner

Hi, my name is Divinstrosity, and I'm an Narutoholic. I watched ALL the fillers, MORE than once - and since I've been reading the manga, I've started to have dreams with Naruto characters in them. Granted, I do have a life, as I am a successful entrepreneur; However....

.....I work from my computer. :( That's where the problem lies. Too easy for me to log on to NF, and watch episodes on youtube. As an Itachi fan, any time I get an indication that he'll make another appearance in the next chapter, I find myself entering the spoilers section more times than I'm willin' to admit, to see if their have been any updates, lol...

On Thursday and Friday, I honestly try not to even leave the house if possible, in case the raw comes out while I'm gone (and of course, I refresh frequently). x_x For the rest of the week, I still spend a lot of my time either thinking or posting about the series.

I do have some life though, since I live with my girlfriend. Who also likes the series, but isn't a manga reader, which poses problems sometimes. :laugh

I spent way to much time visiting forums and read about the manga/anime.
I am the kind of addicted person that knows that this manga isn't great...(I am not saying it is bad...) But it is so addicting!

So much likable characters Kishimoto created, and so much mistery around certain characters / story lines, that I can't control my disire.

But it depends a little what kind of story arc Naruto is, like this story arc with Sasuke and Oro, I am wasting to much time waiting for the raw and reading the forum.

If I only could make him into a naruto fan... but that already failed.
After 1 year trying to get hem into Naruto, he tried it out, he came actually pretty far, the rescue Sasuke arc, the battle with Neji, in that battle he got really bored and annoyed. :(

Ah well he does understand now that some of the characters are pretty likable, so he is not so anti-Naruto anymore as he was before he watched the serie.

I have performed hand seals, printed out pages of hand seal Jutsu combinations, and yes, have even worn both my Konoha and Suna hitai-ates individually in public. My room is literally covered in posters / gashapon / picture cards. I'm getting an official customized gloss-finish poster of my original character and my favourite character over the internet so that I can hang it on that one blank space on the wall in my room. I write more words of Naruto fanfiction in a week than you do homework in a month. I suck at art, but draw nothing but Naruto fanart anyway, hoping I'll get better over time. Everything I say, do, perform or work on is either inspired by or spun off from a Naruto character. I play friggin Kakuzu in a LiveJournal Naruto RPG community. A shred of something from Naruto or Naruto-based is in all my signatures / avatars on all my webspaces on all of the internets. Google the very username '_allismine_' and it's guaranteed over 5K hits.

I might not have watched all the Naruto fillers or own all the Naruto merchandise, but I can assure you that a single chapter of Naruto means more to me than the entire series does to any of you. It might not be my sole reason for living, but it sure as hell kept me alive all these years. Well...

Ok, I admit...I OBSESS with anything I watch...its sad, I know...
The Naruto Phase...well, lets see...first thing was the Konoha Gloves...then, I got a Sand Village Forehead Protector, which I wear to bed each night (like a sleeping mask or something-rather). Then, I had to get the Sand Gloves to cos-play as a random Sand Nin for Halloween (which I wore to school for when I was in the anime club). I orginally started with the dub on CN and slowly moved on to the Japanese Subs. Also, at school, some of my friends watch Sub Naruto, although most watch the Dub and one reads the Manga (he is EXTREMELY OBSESSED with Naruto...or just bugging the hell out of me and my friend with spoilers...). I have earned the nickname Kabuto for the reasons provided, and one of my friends is Orochimaru (I won't go too far into this, but to say the least...she likes snakes...and nicknaming people with Naruto names). Also, recently I bought a Naruto wall-scroll (poster type-thing) for my wall in my bedroom.
Although, with the progress of Shippuuden, the Naruto phases is slowing dieing and the Bleach Phase has began and slipped away just as quickly...
Next is Death Note which may die out as well...I go through obsessions quite quickly...its like a habit...
Maybe I should watch the filler eps while on vacation...anyways...thats enough for now...

I was pretty obsessed with it, when I found out about Naruto (which was not that long ago, the anime in Japan was on episode 200 when I found out) I started watching it and at some point I would spend days watching it, my record goes for 35 episodes in one day (I went through the pain of watching the fillers so I watched 30 in one day so I could get to Shippuuden and then I watched the 5 episodes of Shippuuden so far :P). In my real life behavior, as if I didn't like ramen enough in the first place, the anime only made me even more obsessed with ramen. There's Itadakimasu before dinner, a nani here and there, and title suffixes! I rarely say these in aloud public, though. It feels kinda goofy in some ways. It's also sad. I'm actually Chinese. :O

Seriously, i don't think Ramen is good at all, the noodle they use is too filling and big, i'd rather smaller thinner ones.
