What if you had lee drink so much, that he was on the verge of death. You don't think that he could do it. He only had one bottle of sake to fight against Kimimaro.

If Lee had been at full strength than Kimi would have killed in the beginning of the fight, as opposed to allowing him to take his medicine. At full strength, Lee's taijutsu skill is still average(outside of speed and power). Not to mention that punches and kicks won't really do anything to Kimimaro.

Not just jumpin on the bandwagon here but I seriously think he would have gotten his ass handed to him on the end of a bone sword. Kimimaro's taijutsu was just on another level in terms of force and the shear speed he unleashed his attacks at. Even if Lee was at 100% physically he still wouldn't be able to out-think Kimi and avoid a devistating attack. And even if he did, there's always levels 1 and 2 of the cursed seal.

If Kimi wasn't on the verge of dying/critically sick, he would have killed Naruto, Lee and Gaara all on that same day. He was nowhere near his 100%, evidenced by the way he died in the middle of fighting them - he's a greater genius than Sasuke, and Oro's original pick for a body. It's safe to say that he would beat the crap out of most shinobi in Naruto at 100%.

Nothing against Lee, of course - Lee is actually my favourite character, and he's highly skilled and powerful to boot. I just don't see him beating Kimi (unless he resorts to the gates).

Even if Lee did use the gates he would have still been beaten. Physical attacks have almost no effect on Kimi. Even Gaara's Desert Coffin couldn't take him down

Yeah, unfortunately Lee would of gotten his ass handed to him. I think Rock Lee's an awesome character too, but Kimimaro was just too good of a shinobi. The ultimate defense to physical attacks.

i think Lee woudln't have sustained any damage from kimimaro at full strength. but i don't think lee would have done any damage to kimimaro either with his bones and all. If gaara's sand couldn't crush him, what could?

Lee is sort of weak against someone who can harden there body to be as tough as diamonds. Even if he opened 7 gates he would of lost.

Lee can never beat Kimmi in a straight-on fight. As a matter of fact, no one who is mainly based upon taijistu can beat Kimmi in a straight-on fight. This means that even Gai would probably have a hard time against Kimmi, as he's, from what we know, mainly based upon taijistu.

Any decent jounin who isn't specializing in taijistu and knows decent/good genjustu and justu's will destroy Kimmi.

I'll state this AGAIN. There is a reason why Kishi decided to pair Kimmi against Lee(who only uses taijistu), Naruto(who mainly uses taijistu, would destroy Kimmi with Rasenshuriken though), and Gaara(Gaara's sand techinques AREN'T taijitsu, but the idea behind what it does is the same as that of a taijistu- apply a huge force to some part of the body to crush it).

ok....when Gai activated the 8th gate he split the water by mere exertion of chakra....I don't even think that was even chakra but his body probably moving so fast that the water is being pushed away from him at a greater force then it could exert...DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FORCE IT TAKES TO SPLIT THAT MUCH WATER. And if I'm right about not even using chakra to do it...then yeah...kimmi would get owned by at least a 3rd gate of rock lee's current strenght or even former strenght(I hope he is stronger now). Notice that rock lee's and gai's taijistu specialty is breaking bone. If a gate magnifies that ability by even lets say....3 which I think is the 1st or 2nd gate then kimmi, while not completely owned in 1 hit, would get owned in the 3,000 other hits that will follow. The problem with rocklee is that he places all his eggs in one basket. He could have simply owned gara by hitting him 3,000 times and not even get tired because that was his NORMAL SPEED, took the weights off remember, but no he wanted to show off and do lotus what ever and when that missed, which it did, he got too tired and shortly owned. If rock lee loses, which he probably will,...it is because he has the brain of a rock. And no a average ninja with some genjustu and ninjustsu could own him. Sad to say it but he beat the curse seal kids that owned neji, shikamuru, kiba, and chojji(I think thats how you spell their names) and they had more then "average ninjustsu and genjustu" at their disposal.

I believe too that kimimaru would have kicked lee san' s ass. I think it takes more than taijutsu to kill him. He can totaly change his bones and probably move them inside of his body. So maybe lee would just have been able to break some of them. But kimimaru would have rebuilt them. I think to kill kimimaru, lee would have to use some ninjutsu, or somehow to cut his head off
