Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't some of the events from chapter 200 in this episode?

It's pretty obvious that most, if not, all of chapters 198 and 199 are in here, but wasn't the scene where the Espada split off and that part where Ikkaku talks about how much food was produced (or whatever it was, I don't remember the specifics) all in chapter 200?

Also, I noticed somewhat of a censor. There's just a white spot when Ulquiorra removes his eye in the episode, making it seem like his eye is closed, whereas in the manga, I think it was hollow. Once again, someone stop me if I'm jumping the gun.

Yes that was censored but it's a common thing now. Also the chapter covers 198, 199 and the first few pages of 200.

That was a good episode. I thought the art and animation were pretty good actually, and I also loved how they integrated the less serious scenes with Grimmjow's gang. I'm pretty happy with Bleach's pacing now. The real test is whether the fights are still on par.

Grimmjow's voice is appropriately badass, though nothing special. The highlight was probably Orihime's monologue. I haven't heard that much emotion in Orihime, heck, in all of Bleach in a long time. I thought her voice actress did a superb job with that scene.

I'm very excited for next week's episode though... I loved how Rukia gave that adorable little laugh at the end of the preview when Ichigo asked her what her zanpakutou was smile-big

Yeah, that part was pure win. That was my favorite part of the episode.

On the whole, it was a pretty good episode, but not as good as the previous ones. Nothing happened that was remotely important or interesting. Rangiku's "special" scene didn't really fit well with what was going on at the time for me.

I was wondering if the scanlators had toned that line up or DB's translators had toned it down, but judging by how they toned Orihime down so much too, I have a feeling it was intentionally written that way in the anime.
