Naruto And Ramen?

what is with Naruto and his ramen :naruramen? i mean im sure it tastes pretty good, but it not that expensive. i mean i could see him loving lobster. but why did they choose ramen is what i cant figure out...><:naruramen

Yeah, cost is an issue. I remember Naruto could hardly afford "real" Ramen before he became a ninja. He had to buy microwavable meals.

Well... ramen is popular in japan. and also... i can't remember the name but... he used to like a manga that had a charecter that loved ramen. and think he loved dragonball manga and the main charecter, Goku, is dressed in orange and a small amount of blue.

We can also assume that naruto must've lived on some sort of welfare program, and therefore either was given the food and his material possesions or perhaps a certain amount of money, that he used wisely by purchasing the cheapest thing he could think of, which he consiquently started to love. Then as he became a genin and began to get paid he saved his money but had an aquired taste for Ramen, he then saved his money that wasn't used (later to be stolen by Jiraiya). :beer

Like the one in my sig? Because I have seen 2 Itachi anti-drugs. Ramen is just great there is no doubt about it. I really like Top Ramen, and real ramen has to taste a hundred time better...man do I want to eat at that ramen shop in Naruto(the name escapes me).

I don't like ramen that much. But all I get are the American and Korean kind. I remember Chinese kind being much better, so the Japanese kind must be even better. Also, they put real stuff in the ramen, so maybe it's good enough for it to be someone's favorite food?

Naruto doesn't mean ramen, naruto is named after a bridge which connects kobe and honshu.

The ramen bit, I thought it was always because iruka loved ramen, and when he treated naruto to it, naruto started to like it too. Either naruto likes the food or because he has it with Iruka it reminds him that he's cared about because that's how iruka treats him. Or both.

i love ramen i can live off it and depending on what you have in its its healthy i just can't eat it in new zealand. has anyone watched it being made its such an art.
