This is to discuss FUTURE predictions for battles TO happen OR battles that you would think would happen.

Let me start it off like this--

Neji Vs Naruto

If these two were to fight at the current stage of the manga who would you'd think win. Of course I would like to see more of what neji can do first but, like I said its a prediction.

We already know that naruto had surpassed kakashi, and that neji has steadily grown in strength, speed and stamina.

Remember although Kakashi has admitted naruto being stronger than he is, lots of characters have suprised us in the manga, so i dont put it past neji currently that he could stand up to naruto.

Naruto is very strong and so far Kakashi has admitted he is his equal or better. On this I will give him the victory but Neji has grown but who can predict any new moves for Neji. Just more speed and power and range on his old moves. Naruto's new technique would seem too powerful for Neji's rotation but if his rotation sends it back with equal force Naruto would be crushed. Still I will say Naruto.

Naruto cant use Kyuubi Chakra to open His Tenkutsus. Naruto knows FRS.

Neji probably still has superior taijutsu and without the Kyuubi to give Naruto more chakra, he is probably going to lose.

Kakashi talks way too much smack.

That KB hiding strategy won't work on Neji, because of Byakugan.

It should be almost impossible to hit Neji with FRS, seeing Neji can dodge Lee's uberspeed movements, Neji can also keep Naruto with FRS at a distance with Hakke Kyuushou.

Neji wins.

FRS would rip a hole in the Kaiten. If chakra can only beat chakra, as so many wish to say, then Neji's defenses would lose to FRS.

DaiKaiten, if Neji has it, might be enough to block the FRS. But since we know so little about Neji's skills post-skip, the only outcome of this fight would be Naruto winning.

Neji would win with the limitations to Naruto. No Kyuubi would put Naruto under Neji in ability. This is with the assumprtion that Neji has the same moves but a little stronger than when he was a genin. Naruto won't land the FRS on Neji.

Neji was a way higher level than Naruto, Naruto beat him because of Kyuubi chakra and because Neji was underestimating him.

Jiraiya's 2.5 years training was useless if you don't count the Kyuubi transformations, Naruto could've come that far on his own.

Neji's skills were already unbelievable preskip, above chuunin level, and his sight has improved atleast 16x, from 50m radius to a 800m radius.

Naruto without Kyuubi almost doesn't stand a chance.
He only has FRS which would never hit Neji
-seeing Naruto has to use a Kage Bunshin plan and surprise Neji, which wouldn't work because of the Byakugan and Neji not underestimating him
-seeing Neji can dodge Lee's speed and Lee's speed>>>>>>>>>>>Naruto's speed
-Neji can also unbalance Naruto by using Hakke Kuushou on him making him drop the lose hold of the FRS
-Neji may also have DaiKaiten, which would surely knock away Naruto.
-Hakke 64 won't be bypassed this time by Kyuubi chakra

Naruto was already stronger then Neji pre-timeskip. I don't think anyone improved more than Naruto (Except maybe Sasuke.)

Right now most people will say Naruto because of his power up. But when it's Neji's time to shine he will also get a power up and they will be on more even ground.

If Naruto is given so many limitations then Neji win.

Firstly, the most important thing about ANY fight with Naruto is NOT to underestimate him.

Naruto VS Mizuki
Naruto & Sasuke VS Zabuza(to free Kakashi)
Naruto VS Kiba
Naruto VS Neji(chunnin exam)
Naruto VS Kabuto
Naruto VS Kakuzu

What do all of these major fights taking up a vast majority of all Naruto fights have in common besides Naruto winning out? Their opponents underestimated Naruto.

That aside, much of Naruto's prowess depends on his Kage Bunshin. Neji's Byakugan can counter him. And Neji has fought Naruto before, therefore Neji is a very bad matchup for Naruto.

Neji would win. The only reason he lost to Naruto that first time was because he underestimated Naruto. Neji had all the skills it took to beat him. I think Neji has learned some humility, and won't make that mistake twice. Neji is incredibly lethal at taijutsu, his Byakuugen can see which Naruto is the real one. Because we all know Naruto never strays from his trial and error methods of fighting by sending out 392730 clones. :P Naruto is stronger than Neji, though. And he might have more stamina. And he doesn't really on the Kyuubi's power anymore, which may also lead to his down fall.

Even though neji can see all the bunshin clones he can't see the real one.
If he does the same startegy of attacking everyone he sees he'll die.
i'm sure if naruto digs a hole again and does a rasen shuiken from underground neji loses.

No one said that.

But the problem here isn't that Neji can see the real one, cos he can't. The problem is that Neji is not gonna underestimate Naruto, and he can see where Naruto is gonna attack from, kage bunshin or not. Naruto relies too much on catching his opponents unsurprised, I 'd say he would do very badly against an opponent who has not only fought against him, but also one who is a genius.

no way naruto even lands a hit neji he has a new long range attack (Hakke Kūshō) that would easily take out KB's. if naruto gets close then he uses gentel fist

I know what naruto can do, he does 2000 kage bunshin clones digs a 100's of tunnels and traps Neji in a rock slide! :) How is Neji gonna get them if they're under ground, crawl in after him lol

Im going with neji on this one (fan bias allows me bitch!) + he probably got way more powerful than in part one and narutos tactics were easily read in part one when they fought (until neji got too confident and turned his byakugan off). For FRS he can just push him back with hakke kuusho or evade naruto...all in all neji takes this

remember when naruto was getting the explanation about the nature chakras? well kakashi said that a jounin has access to two nature chakras. that means to be a jounin, you probably have to have an idea how to tap into ur nature affinity chakra. with that being said, what's stopping neji to add elemental effect to his divine trigram 64 strikes? let's say wind. let's say that the small burst of chakra that he puts out to plug the opponents chakra hole suddenly gets infused with the wind chakra. that causes physical damage and prevents you from using ur chakra correctly. i dont about you guys, but having 64 cuts kinda gets annoying

Like in the chuunin exam neji couldnt tell who was who....

As previously mentioned a few times the Byakugan is not able to automatically see through Kagebunshin's. In fact, Naruto was able to trick Neji during the Chuunin exams with adept usage of the clones. By making a clone stand back and look to be the 'real' naruto he was tricked. Same as Kakuzu. In a second fight Neji would have to rethink that, and likely treat every one he saw as a threat. Which in fact, they are since they all have ridiculous chakra amounts and can pull of quite an array of jutsu.

I'm not sure who would win here really. Naruto would likely need to use FRCS, which might not work or never land properly.

Naruto still uses Kyuubi's chackra in every fight. I don't see him beating neji without it. Did you people ever thing about why kishi is waiting before showing what Neji gots? Neji will end up showing some unreal power most likely. I think he would be able to take on 1-2 tails......IMO

Doesn't matter. If you look at Naruto he has the Kyuubi eys. This means that he needs his chakra to do his new jutsu.
