I'm pretty sure this has been done, but search results only yielded Sound 4 vs Team Asuma or Team Shikamaru. In any case, it's Shikamaru in all his glory following the death of Asuma and the defeats of Hidan and Kakuzu in Part 2..

Due to Shikamaru's great intelligence and skilled abilities, he will be walking into an ambush of Kidoumaru, who has already prepared in advance for his fight with him. So a prepared Kidoumaru who can use only up to his first stage of the Curse Seal only, and a completely mentally unprepared Shikamaru.

Kidoumaru likes to play around though, so I believe Shika takes this. All the while he's laughing and spitting webs, Shikamaru sneaks his shadow down the tree and up the other side, catching him. Since he only has CS1, Kidomaru goes down easily.

Kidomaru will take this. Shika has no way of finding out where Kidomaru is, and if Kido were to spit any kind of web at Shika and it connected, he could just throw solidified web at Shika and kill him.

Should Kidoumaru start out seriously and run away in the trees, then it's a different story. But Shikamaru's hella smart, he could throw a light bomb into the air and use the shadow and the increased range to find Kidoumaru.

Basically this fight is Kidomaru with prep time vs. Shikamaru without prep time. Kidomaru is already in the trees, waiting to ambush Shikamaru. Shika doesn't have the byakugan, how does he expect to find Kidomaru or to cut the webs that Kidomaru is going to be shooting at him?

As much as I like Shikamaru, Kidomaru has this one.

Dead-on. If Shikamaru gets entrapped within the web, he's screwed. I can remember from the Naruto vs Neji fight that even Jounin can only release chakra from their hands and feet, but Neji was the only one who could release it from any part of his body.

Wasn't the whole Hyuuga clan since their ability to discern Tenketsu points allowed them to utilize chakra outwards from any of their pores in their bodies, or just the elites like Hiashi, Hizashi and Neji?

I don't know if it was specified in the manga, but I know for a fact Neji cand do it. I also assume Hiashi can also do it as well. Neji has come so far to become a great shinobi of the Hyuuga clan, even if he comes from the family that must protect the secrets of the Byakugan.

We have to assume that Kidōmaru will play this seriously and will not play around with his foe, as this is the Battledome. Shikamaru is not at his best in an ambush, as he has not demonstrated great perception skills and has no defensive tricks. He's a better shinobi now than Kidōmaru is, but that's not enough. Kidōmaru's ambush attack has a very high chance of being successful and whatever it is, its success means that Shikamaru is done for, one way or another.
