Naruto, Sakura, Lee, Tenten, Shikamaru and Neji. Basically the teams in the Rescue Gaara arc, but without the uber powerful people, but with Shikamaru added. Naruto is restricted to KN1 and does not have FRS. Anything else is fair game.

Well let's see...Itachi Genjutsu's Naruto for later use, Bunshin Daibakuha's Sakura killing her instantly, and eventually skewers Shikamaru with the help of a Bunshin and a few Kunai.
He comes back and kills Naruto.


Kisame vs. Neji, Lee, 1010

Kisame traps Lee and Tenten in Suirou while dealing with Neji alone. Obviously, Kisame>>>Neji and Kisame wins. Tenten and Lee drown.

hard to say, im sure with shiakmaru coming up with plans it would more of a problem for the clones. ill go with narutos team but barely.

If this is that team post-skip, I have to side with them. Naruto soloed a 100% Akatsuki(without going Kyuubi), fought decently with Orochimaru, Kakashi said he surpassed him, and Shika soloed a 100% Akatsuki. Not that I think they could do it here, I just want to dispel any thoughts that the kids have no chance.

Shika and Naruto seem to be the 2 best battle planners, and with the resources of this team I am confident they could some up with some plan to defeat the 2 30% Akatsuki. Naruto wouldn't necessarily need FRS, Oodama Rasengan, and even the regular were pretty deadly, easily enough to take out a 30% clone. He only needed to use FRS against one of the physically toughest Akatsuki members.

Gooba isn't a shinobi (well I guess so :oh). His strategy knowledge is probably to restricted to prepare genuine plan. And Kishi is a Narutoverse creator so every single plan of him would be a success.

Suirou didn't kill Tenten because Neji bailed them out. That's why I said Kisame would occupy Neji because the others lack the necessary chakra skill to escape. And if Gai couldn't beat 30% Kisame without going Gates, what makes you think Neji can?

....Gai's using 6 gates was overkill. I mean, it would be like Naruto fighting someone a little above his level and then thinking: "Sheeeyit, this guy is too strong. FOUR-TAIL FORM!", after which he smites the enemy in one blow. Gai pummeled Kisame easily afterwards. They were sent as a backup-team, and this was keeping them.

Shika gets Sakura, Lee, and Tenten to distract Kisame, then Naruto Rasengens them from behind. While this is happening, he is distracting Itachi, and lets Neji sneak up behind him and go all 64 fists on him.

Sneaking up behind while distracted has proven to work over and over again, especially with Shika making it even better. Like having those 3 manuever Kisame to a certain place where Naruto is right behind him but hidden, or something.

Btw, what proof is there that carrying 30 percent of kisame and itachi's chakra makes them 1/3 less stronger than the original bodies?

in chapter 260, Itachi says that passing over that much chakra isn't that "significant" so the "jutsus [they] can use are limited," not necessarily their physical strength and agility.
(i think this explains why Asuma had trouble handling the tip of kisame's samehada, while Gai was crushed by the sword wielded by the 30% clone)
Although this puts itachi in disadvantage, i think Kisame's strength would be enough to beat the konoha kids.

Kisame does Hidden mist jutsu. Itachi silently Bunshin Daibakuha's Ten-ten, Sakura, and Shikamaru. Kisame slashes Naruto's chakra, rendering him useless. Itachi takes advantage of Neji's 360 vision and Tsukuyomi's him from behind while he's desperately trying to pierce the mist. Kisame and Itachi double team Rock Lee, Kisame making a large pool of water while Itachi merely distracts him. Water Release with a Five Shark Meal to make sure the job is finshed. The result is a Lee smoothie.
