Contains Spoilers for the manga.
Just want to point this out...

If you look in the Shippuden opening scenes, you'll notice something important is missing.

Specifically... the wound on Sakura's arm from the Kyuubi burn.

This may be important for a number of reasons.

Think about it.

If it's not just an error, then it'd mean that Kyuubi Naruto didn't burn her. So either she didn't run at KN4, he didn't hit her, or... Naruto didn't go KN4 at some point before they run into Sasuke.

It'll be interesting seeing how it plays out now

That's hardly the only thing that was missed.

I wouldnt read into it too much it's only a teaser clip they will do things right when they get to that part, trust.

Well there are bound to be differences in the anime compared to the manga...but yah I didn't even think about the damage she had taken prior to that...it will either play out that she didn't get hit or that they take a different chain of events toward reaching the lair instead of the one shown in the manga.

Wow.
I'm a manga reader, but this needs a spoiler tag, or some kind of warning. Big time.

I agree with the previous poster. Put a spoiler tag around the post or have one of the mods move this to House of Uzumaki.

Spoiler tags have been added.

Though to be honest, that was a year ago in the manga. If you don't know about the events discribed and you're on Narutofan... you've been living under a rock for a year. Once a year has gone by generally people don't put spoiler tags on events from that long ago.

It'd be like spoiler tagging that Orochimaru kills the third Hokage... it's such old news that it doesn't rate a tag.

As to things missing from the story... They clearly reworked the story (as shown in these two new eps), but rework isn't a negative thing.

The reworking the story isn't a bad or a dig against the anime people at all... The point of this thread is that the item mentioned above either happened (as in the manga) or didn't happen (meaning they have changed that part of the story... and thus may mean we have some cool suprises ahead.

With the quality of the animation in the opening scenes... you'd figure that they'd not mess up on something like that. So, like I said, it's either a messup... or they've changed a chunk of the story.

I think it was either a) over-looked since the scene was obviously animated separately than the series or b) they kept it out for the same reason they didn't show all the scenes.

Probably A.

I really wouldn't worry.

I agree with A as well. was it done by the team that did the fights such as the end of Naruto vs. sasuke?

Ya, there is nothing to worry about at all. It was just a simple teaser and they didn't want to show something that would make people throw out all of these random theories for something that technically won't happen for a long time. More evidence of this is the fact that there were numerous other scenes/people talking that were cut out as well that will be added in later.

Ifurita's Fan...familiarize yourself with this forum's rules...there are no manga spoilers at all

no matter how old it is...if it hasn't aired in the anime, it's still a spoiler to the anime only people. It's like going into the dub section and saying Orochimaru kills sandaime...because IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET in the dub and thus a spoiler.

this is a warning, next time you post in this section with a spoiler, you are getting a one day ban.

I'd say they overlooked it, honestly. Just an honest mistake, no biggie.

The intro was edited alot to benefit the awesomeness of it and start Shippuuden without spoiling anything too much. A clever move, I thought.

When we actually get to that part later in, everything will be filled in.

That doesn't mean anything, remember in the opening credits when for a second you could see what looked like a fast figure with red eyes.

I think that must be....
4 tails Naruto

I wish they would have shown all the characters just to see how they have changed

Kaki

They didn't show [any] of their techniques so its all good. Kishi needs to find a way todo that. Untill then he's just created suspence.

It's just a teaser, they didnt want to show everything. They will have everything in place when it comes time...I hope.

why isn't anyone discussing the fact that Kakashi gaiden hasn't been played never mind about all the characters missing from the first shipuden episode.

if you pause it in the opening credits where they show the black & white scenes you will see Chiyo-sama
