After seeing how bad the pacing was in the first part of bleach and the incredulous amounts of fillers in naruto, i'd thought they'd learnt their lesson about pacing. But then i saw how bleach was catching up with the manga after the fillers at a ridiculous level.

Then i watched the first 10 minutes of Shippuden and guess what? They've skipped out 60+ manga chapters just to show sasuke again! Now the storyline doesn't even make sense and the anime is only 30+ chapters behind of the manga, so if they continue with the current pacing it will have to back to filler after the next episode!


I was so disgusted with the way that they thought they could get away with cutting out so much content and ridiculously bad pacing that i stopped watching the show after the first ten minutes.

FYI, They didn't skip anything, they just showed a little bit of what's to come with Sasuke, etc. so they don't upset Sasuke fans, and so they can release merchandise with Sasuke quicker.

I've got to say, Studio Pierrot gave manga fans an orgasm with that performance. The music, the animation, it was as well done as I've seen any anime. The intro to Part 2 in the manga was meh, the anime managed to make it awesome.

But you anime fans have really been shafted. Massive spoilage in first 8 minutes. And a misleading pace: believe me, the rest of Part 2 will not be as dramatic as this. They basically took the most important moment of P2 and shoved it into your face in the intro.


Manga fans: 10/10, they knocked it out of the park
