I remember back when that image of disintegrating Sasuke first appeared in the manga. I saw the page and almost wept for joy, but then common sense kicked in and I realized there was no way Kishimoto would let justice be served and actually allow Deidara to kill Sasuke. Though it was frustrating as well as entertaining the battle that ensued...that one panel where Sasuke looked frightened, cowering like a little child, was one of the best things I've ever seen.

Many thanks once more members for reinforcing our rules.
I don't like to see any of our rules broken, at all, that's another reason why I link new members to our rules in my welcoming post.

However, we all mistakes from time to time, but, let's not have this happen again.

So, I shall quote myself as to why I'm so strict about this in the first place.

As some of our members have kindly pointed its against our rules to refer to Sasuke as gay or other derogatory terms depicting homosexuality.

So in short, if Sasuke is gay or whatever, so be it -however, we are not here to bash him for that cause.

We also have members, companions, family members, work-mates who may also share this sexual orientation and it certainly hurts to have Sasuke compared to them. It's quite degrading as well as insulting.

Additionally, some of our members in the past have expressed their discomfort about this matter and it had ailed me - since our aim is to provide a comfortable environment in which we can bash Sasuke and I won't have anyone feeling offended here.

Also, I identify with the Queer community and it's certainly disheartening to log in and read derogatory comments such as -'Sasuke is a fag,' 'cocksucker,' etc

I hope that clears up this matter somewhat and you will edit your post.

Our rules can be found on the second (2nd) post, I hope one takes the time to review them as I enforce all of them.

Anyway, here's a little drabble that sprang to mind as a possible way for Sasuke to meet his end. After all, revenge leads to insanity, does it not?

Sakura knew what had to be done.

Looking at the prone form below her, she felt pity overcome her and fleetingly wondered if Sasuke was aware of what he had become.

The Uchiha stared at the wall, muttering under his breath in a scratchy undertone.

"Dobe...take away my purpose...kill you..."

The demented cackle that followed his pronouncement made her wince in pity. It had been a long time, she reflected, since Sasuke had crossed the line into insanity.

"Sasuke-kun..."

He turned slightly to face her, and she saw realisation bloom on his visage.

The kunai slid into his chest smoothly, crimson blossoming in a strangely beautiful pattern. A sense of liberation overwhelmed her as he entered his death throes, and she had to fight the urge to laugh. For the first time in her life, she was free of his shadow, free of the fear that the one she loved would perish at his hands.

Looking into his eyes, she could see traces of remorse appear, but they soon faded into the milky stare of death.
