In my opinion such a scenario would be a wake up call for Sasuke and a very fitting punishment , his dream stolen out of his hands, his quest revenge never fulfilled, but on the other hand, I think he'd snap and try to kill Naruto for succeeding where he failed.

Psychological pain is far worse than any physical wound that one could ever sustain.
