How to read the title of a post
Firstly, welcome to the Akatsuki FC! I hope you enjoy it here. We are all fairly inviting.
Ok, so lets start with the titles of the posts. Here is an exapmle taken from a post here in this FC.
-FC Info; Continued; Members, Alliances, Banners
Ok you'll first notice a bunch of random words right? Well here is how you read this. (I decided to use this layout so that it saves time for people. Because instead of having to read ever post you'll know what's in them from the title.) You read it like this, (What type of post it is; Weather it's a continuation of another post; then the contents of the post and the order in which they appear)
Pretty simple right?

[Wisely]

Akatsuki:
(暁; Literally meaning "Dawn" or "Daybreak") is a criminal organization of S-Class missing-nins and is the most wanted group in all of shinobi world. Their main goal is to collect all of the tailed beasts for their plan of world domination. As such, Akatsuki, despite initially having a minor role during Part I, have become the primary antagonists in Part II.
Akatsuki at any given time is composed of no more than ten primary members, all of whom were S-Class criminals of their own respective villages. Members always work in teams of two with the exception of Zetsu, who functions as the organization's ███, and make use of their unique skills to the team's advantage. Team members must function very well or at least to accomplish their task even though they have a mutual problems with each other. The organization is rarely fully assembled, as seen in the end of Part I, when one member said it was the first time in seven years when they were all together.
Akatsuki is widespread, spanning several countries with agents in various places. When one team finds a tailed beast and has to begin the job of sealing the beast, they have hidden hideouts with many traps ready, to begin the sealing with the organization's leader's astral projection for a three-day long jutsu.

Main Goal:
Although some members joined Akatsuki to further their own goals, all are united in Akatsuki's ultimate goal of gaining world domination. Their leader has created a three-step process to work their way towards this goal. First, they plan to obtain a large amount of money to support their organization. Second, they plan to set up a mercenary group loyal only to Akatsuki. To build their reputation, they plan to accept any mission below the usual cost and operate off of the excess funds earned in the first part of their plan. Because there haven't been any wars in some time, the established shinobi villages couldn't afford to charge such low prices, leading the smaller countries to hire Akatsuki over the more expensive shinobi villages. By using the tailed beasts, Akatsuki would start wars and then immediately quell them, solidifying their reputation and convincing every country to depend on them, thus cornering the market in shinobi labor. Without any business, the other shinobi villages would collapse due to the lack of funds. Finally, after Akatsuki is the only major force of shinobi in existence, they can easily conquer the other countries. Members do not automatically learn of the plan upon joining; Hidan didn't find out about it until he had been a member for quite some time.
The tailed beasts, nine gigantic demons of immense power, are the main focus of much of Akatsuki's efforts and screentime within the series. Each member is assigned to capture one of the nine beasts alive or, in most cases, the person that beast has been sealed into. Akatsuki has so far obtained and sealed seven of the nine: the first through the seventh tailed beasts.
However, this plan may just be a ruse as Akatsuki's three most prominent members have separate goals in mind.
Madara's Goal: Madara's plans for Akatsuki are yet to be revealed. However, since the early years of Konoha, he has showed great interest in destroying it.
Pain's Goal: Pain later goes into further detail on the tailed beasts' role in his plans. The beasts would be used to create a deadly Kinjutsu technique that could wipe out one of the five great nations in an instant, so if countries go to war and do not have ninja villages to fight for them, they would turn to Akatsuki and their "weapons." Whichever side makes Pain use the technique first would wipe out the opposing country, which would scare them into never using their weapon again, and scare the other countries to never start a war or they would be wiped out too. Through the mutual fear, war would cease to exist and the world would know peace, until the people forget that fear and use the weapon again. Thus the cycle would repeat, creating small periods of peace in an endless chain of hatred.
Apparently, Pain and Konan are the only Akatsuki members aware of this.
Itachi's Goal: After the Uchiha Massacre and leaving Konoha, Itachi, instead of using the tailed beasts for his own self-interest, continued to protect the village by joining Akatsuki and keeping an eye on them, especially Sasuke, from the outside. During his time in the group, Itachi would delay his own attempts to capture the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, indirectly leaked information about the organization to Konoha, and attempted to kill Madara through Sasuke. Before his death, Itachi gave Naruto some of his "power," telling him to continue protecting Konoha and Sasuke, should the event occur that Sasuke would plan for their village's destruction. The "power" that Itachi gave to Naruto remains unknown.

Wardrobe
Akatsuki members have a similar way of dress, which could give them away if a village is alerted of their presence. Members wear long, dark cloaks with red clouds, a red interior, and a chin-high collar. All members wear nail polish of varying colors on their finger and toenails, and may wear a conical straw hat with small spike-like balls hanging down to cover their faces. The hats may be used to move around in the general population unnoticed, or for when the weather requires one. Most members tend to wear their village headband with a scar through the middle to show their defection. Everyone also wears a ring with a kanji on different fingers depending on who the member is.

Colors of fingers and toenails are:

Pain/Konan, Deidara/Tobi; Black
Itachi Uchiha/Kisame Hoshigaki; Dark purple
Kakuzu/Hidan; Dark Green
Sasori; Teal
Orochimaru/Zetsu; Light purple


Akatsuki Rings and Ring Positions
What seems to be most important, however, are their rings. In total, there are ten rings given to each of the ten main members of Akatsuki. The rings apparently signify one's membership and ring position, since when Orochimaru defected, he took his ring with him and as such wasn't replaced. The ring's exact purpose have not been revealed.


The ring positions of the members

Right thumb: 零 (rei, "zero"); worn by Pain,
Right index finger: 青 (sei, shō, "blue," "green"); worn by Deidara.
Right middle finger: 白 (bya, "white"); worn by Konan.
Right ring finger: 朱 (shu, "vermilion," "scarlet"); worn by Itachi Uchiha.
Right little finger: 亥 (gai, "sign of the boar"); worn by Zetsu.
Left little finger: 空 (kū, "sky," "void"); worn by Orochimaru.
Left ring finger: 南 (nan, "south"); worn by Kisame Hoshigaki.
Left middle finger: 北 (hoku, "north"); worn by Kakuzu.
Left index finger: 三 (san, "three"); worn by Hidan.
Left thumb: 玉 (gyoku, "jewel," "ball," also the black king in shogi); worn by Sasori and later by Tobi.

Eight of the ten kanji of the rings are taken from a kuji-in (Nine Syllable Seals): a collection of nine hand postures used in meditation. These kuji-in have found their way into ninja folklore as a kind of magic spells. Pain's "rei" and Zetsu's "gai" are not from this kuji-in. However, the only unused kuji-in kanji, 玄 (gen, "mysterious"), bears a strong resemblance to Zetsu's "gai," suggesting an error. It would be a consistent error, however, since the "gai" kanji has been used in every instance the ring's kanji has been shown, both in the manga and the data books.
In Part II, Taka aligns themselves with Akatsuki. They wear Akatsuki cloaks, but they seem to have hoods instead of high collars. None of them wear headbands, nail polishes, nor the rings, which signify them being unofficial members. Their inter-group relationship is also fragile, as Sasuke claimed that he is only using Akatsuki, and once severed connections with them when they thought Killer Bee was captured. In turn, Madara threatens to kill them for any attempts of betrayal.

Teams
Akatsuki teams are put together in teams of two to exploit combined strengths for the organization's goals to be met.

List of Teams
Deidara & Tobi

Senior: Deidara
Target(s): Three-Tailed Giant Turtle (Tobi, Sealed)

Formed after Sasori's death, Tobi was introduced as his easily found replacement. Despite Tobi's eagerness to please his "senpai," his childish attitude was seen as an annoyance to Deidara's expectations of the organization. Despite the eminent irritation, the two worked well together, as evidenced by Tobi planting Deidara's explosive clays underground during Deidara's last stand against Sasuke. Deidara also tries to protect Tobi although the latter usually annoys him with his playful personality.

Kakuzu & Hidan

Senior: Kakuzu
Target(s): Two-Tailed Monster Cat (Sealed), Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Failed)

An unruly yet arguably the most effective team; A team that seemed unstoppable when together, something that Shikamaru commented on for the need to separate the duo. Pain decided to put these two together because of their unique abilities. Hidan could not be killed as a result of becoming the successful "Jashin experiment," even by decapitation, and Kakuzu could easily go into a rage and kill anyone around him, including his partner. Therefore, Kakuzu could go berserk and not worry about Hidan's well-being. They refer to themselves as the "Immortal Combi" (不死コンビ, Fushi Konbi), because of their own methods of avoiding death. Kisame jokingly referred to them as the "Zombie Combi" (ゾンビコンビ, Zonbi Konbi).
They have shown the most hostility towards each other due to a conflict of interest; Kakuzu saw the rituals and beliefs of Hidan's religion to be a waste of time, while Hidan saw Kakuzu's willingness to do blasphemous things and his greediness to be unbearable, not to mention that Kakuzu's job as a bounty hunter usually got on Hidan's nerves. As a result of their sideline in collecting bounties and conducting rituals, this team was usually late in the line of work.

Pain & Konan

Senior: Pain
Target(s): Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Failed)

A team that functioned very well with each other, as evidenced by Konan's loyalty towards Pain. Acting as the leader of Akatsuki, Pain directed the rest of the organization to their respective goals; his most direct interaction with the other members was using the Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals. In addition, Pain was the leader of Amegakure, and used the village as a type of headquarter for Akatsuki, while Konan served as the village's second-in-command.

Orochimaru & Sasori
Sasori claimed that he and Orochimaru worked well together during their partnership. However, when Orochimaru defected from Akatsuki after his failed attempt to steal Itachi's body, Sasori developed a grudge against his former partner.

Sasori & Deidara

Senior: Sasori
Target(s): One-Tailed Shukaku (Deidara, Sealed), Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Failed)

Formed by the two artists of Akatsuki, Sasori and Deidara worked well for the most part but had conflicting ideas on art. Sasori believed all art was to be kept permanent, such as his puppets, while Deidara thought art was to be instantaneous, then gone forever, such as his Exploding Clay. Sasori was impatient and liked to finish things quickly while Deidara liked to take his time. Sasori also had a network of spies that he manipulated (in the form of mind control) to aid Akatsuki in their affairs. Deidara was formerly a terrorist bomber for hire who was later recruited by Pain.

Itachi Uchiha & Kisame Hoshigaki

Senior: Itachi
Target(s): Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Itachi, Failed), Four-Tailed Monkey (Kisame, Sealed)

A team that functioned very well together and was highly effective. The two completed almost every assignment Pain gave them with little trouble with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox being the only known exception. With Itachi working as a double agent, however, Itachi failed this mission purposely. Unlike most Akatsuki teams, Itachi and Kisame got along pretty well; Kisame did as Itachi had asked him unquestioningly and they would often converse casually when not in combat.

Zetsu

Function: ███

Not technically a team, but Zetsu has two personalities, effectively making it a team of two. Since each side has a level of individuality, they frequently argue with each other over which battles to watch, among other things. The two sides can also split apart, letting each personality to act individually.

Hawk

Senior: Sasuke Uchiha
Members: Suigetsu Hōzuki, Karin, Jūgo
Target(s): Eight-Tailed Giant Ox (Failed)

When Akatsuki's ranks are thinned to five members, Madara enlists the aid of Taka, who shares the desire for the destruction of Konoha. To complete their goals, Madara has ordered Taka to hunt down the Eight-Tailed Giant Ox while Akatsuki (particularly Pain) hunts for the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. Technically, the members of Taka are not full members of Akatsuki, as they do not possess the rings worn by each of the full members. However, they have been wearing Akatsuki cloaks, signifying their affiliation with the organization.

Affiliation
Each member of Akatsuki is known to be (or have been) affiliated with another group, except for Zetsu. Some fans believe that Zetsu comes from Kusagakure village because of his plant-like appearance. However, Zetsu's profile's "village of origin" section the data book is left blank and furthermore he doesn't wear a Grass headband.

Pain: Amegakure village (leader, "God").
Tobi: Uchiha clan (leader, former), Konohagakure village (co-founder), Kirigakure village (Mizukage, former).
Konan: Amegakure village (second-in-command, "Angel").
Itachi Uchiha: Uchiha clan (former), Konohagakure village (secret).
Kisame Hoshigaki: Kirigakure village (former), Seven Swordsmen of the Mist (former).
Kakuzu: Takigakure village (former), bounty hunter.
Hidan: Yugakure village (former), Jashin religion.
Sasori: Sunagakure village (former).
Deidara: Iwagakure village (former), terrorist for hire.
Orochimaru: Konohagakure village (former), Legendary Sannin, Akatsuki (former), Otogakure village (founder, leader).
Taka
Sasuke Uchiha: Uchiha clan, Konohagakure village (former), Team Kakashi (former), Otogakure village (former), Taka (founder, leader).
Suigetsu Hozuki: Kirigakure village (status unknown), Seven Swordsman of the Mist (trainee), Otogakure village (experiment, former), Taka.
Karin: Otogakure village (guard, former), Taka.
Jugo: Otogakure village (experiment, former), Taka.

Crimes that Led to Defection

Tobi: assisted Itachi in annihiliating the entire Uchiha clan and attacked Konoha with the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.
Itachi: murdered the entire Uchiha clan (under the secret orders of the Konoha elders).
Kisame: murdered a Daimyo and served in espionage.
Kakuzu: stole the Earth Grudge Fear technique, along with the hearts of every elder of his village.
Hidan: murdered his neighbors for their ways of peace.
Sasori: practiced on the inhumane desecration of corpses and murdered the Third Kazekage (village unaware of this act at the time).
Deidara: became a terrorist bomber for hire.
Orochimaru
(from Konohagakure): practiced inhumane forbidden techniques and abducted villagers for his experiments.
(from Akatsuki): attempted to steal Itachi's body (which ended in failure).
Sasuke
(from Konohagakure): left to seek Orochimaru for power.
(from Otogakure): left after absorbing Orochimaru.

Reason(s) Behind Recruitment

Pain: wanted "world peace," having "suffered enough" in his childhood, and wished to stop war, ironically with more war, now that he had the power to do so. His reason was "Peace".
Tobi: banished from and desires vengeance against Konoha for being betrayed by his fellow Uchiha clan and being defeated by Hashirama Senju.
Konan: presumably due to her unwavering loyalty to Pain; According to Pain, her reason was "Love".
Itachi: feigned defection from Konoha (while secretly remaining loyal to it) by joining the most dangerous organization known to all five countries (after killing his clan under the secret orders of the village's elders) while secretly watching over his younger brother, Sasuke; According to Pain, his reason was "Ideology".
Zetsu: According to Pain, his reason is "Land".
Kisame: According to Pain, his reason is "Spite".
Kakuzu: presumably because of desiring more money; According to Pain, his reason was "Resources".
Hidan: presumably because of Akatsuki practicing religious-like activities (i.e. a ritual that concerned the sealing of the tailed beasts) suited to his liking; According to Pain, his reason was "Religion".
Deidara: became a member against his will, due to losing a bet with Itachi; According to Pain, his reason was "Whim".
Sasuke: desires vengeance against Konoha in retribution for his clan's near-extermination at the expense of his older brother, Itachi; According to Madara, his reason is "Retribution".

Immortality/Eternal Youth/Long Lifespan
Some members of Akatsuki have the ability to live longer (if not forever) and/or the ability to retain their youthful looks. Members who are (or were) capable of such feats are the following:

Tobi: possesses the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, through which he has achieved immortality, as seen from his advanced age and ability to survive fatal strikes.
Kakuzu: used Earth Grudge Fear to pluck out the hearts of his opponents and integrate them into his own body to maintain his long lifespan.
Hidan: became the "successful experiment of the Jashin religion's secret jutsu," and can survive even decapitation.
Sasori: changed his own body into a human puppet, thus achieving eternal youth.
Orochimaru: used Living Corpse Reincarnation to switch into healthier bodies indefinitely roughly once every 3 years. He can also modify his body to survive even fatal wounds.

Yep, she's very smart, but i don't think she let gaara crush her arm, she just took advantage of that moment to make a clay doll mixed with gaara's sand...then she attacked the village knowing gaara would protect everyone using up all of his chakra and then it was easy...throwing her last homing bomb at gaara, he protects but uses the sand that had the clay doll and next thing he knows he has a freaking bomb right next to his face! XD

But back to the Akatsuki. I keep thinking to myself "Who is the leader?" or more at this point "Do they have a leader?" Some would say outright that cool looking guy with the pointy hair and glowy eyes is the leader because he said a few seemingly dominant words, however I believe that there is a strong possibility that they are leaderless.
Now I know there were originally 9 members before Orochimaru left leaving them with 8 members (hence the two man team split) and it would seem that they are all S rank criminals which brings me to wonder. Itachi doesn't seem like the type to take orders from anyone weaker then himself (and this is likely the case for the others) and considering they are criminals, then perhaps they are simply united under a common goal which at this point looks to be collecting youma and starting a war with all countries. Each member is also from a different village and bears a different ring (Well it looks like it anyway) and since they are all outstanding ninjas perhaps they are carefully matching up battles in preparation for their next move.
It would certainly seem that way as the "Yeah Girl" was at a total advantage over Gaara (who I wish were invincible).

Also another thing that crossed my mind is if "Yeah Girl" (I'll have to check and memorise her name for future referance) has Gaara KO'd then what is to stop Shukaku from coming out now? Perhaps Gaara is planning to take the fight out of the village or infiltrate the Akatsuki. I guess only future chapters will tell..

I thought that gaara might be letting them take him so he can get further away from the village as well, but apparantly, it isnt the case. I know for sure that gaara doesnt want to infiltrate the akatsuki, he would get his ass kicked most definitely. One thing im not sure of though, is if they have a true leader, and i am kind of guessing they do not. Because i cant picture any of these people taking orders from one single person.

I think the coolest looking members in the cave are the two tall guys (not the super tall) one in the left and the other in the right...but my favourite akatsuki member would have to be either the artistic freak (a.k.a. yeah girl XD) or Itachi.

Oh and about the possibility of Gaara trying to take the fight somewhere else to wake up Shukaku, i'm not too sure, because he's out of Chakra and a freaking bomb exploted right in his face, and i think for Shukaku to wake up, besides falling sleep you most be in a normal state, not all beaten up :/

When you look at it, the whole plan was really well thought out.
They picked out possibly one of the only ones capable of defeating Gaara in his own environment, set up the opening to take him out, captured him with ease and have back up ready. And for one ninja to fly into a village, bash the crap out of the strongest ninja, threaten the lives of the whole village and fly off with the leader successfully captured it really makes you wonder. This "Yeah Girl" refers to the other Akatsuki member as master (or sama) so if she is this smart and powerful it makes the others look more powerful.

heh, yeah. I'd say the guy on the very left who kinda looks like he is wearing a hood would be the Venus Flytrap guy watching Sasuke and Naruto's battle. and it's pretty obvious who Itachi and Kisame are.
Another thought makes me wonder when Kishimoto is going to reveal another of the seven legendary swordsman of the mist.
So for we've seen Zabuza and Kisame. I can't help but think another Akatsuki member will be wielding another blade :)

Good point... i'm really not on the money today.
But it is possible that there is another as there are only 5 countries and 9 members. Not to mention from what i've seen, it looks as if there are roughly 2 hidden villages to each county (or 3 or 4 for some)...
So far i've counted up over 10 villages, but i've missed about 18 episodes roughly and the story changes pretty dramatically in the anime.
A rough estimate of the villages shown so far would be about 15. Keep in mind though i'm counting villages based on forehead protector symbols..

I agree with most of those guesses but i'm not too sure on the Sasori one. Sure that guy is hunched over, but he seems a tad small.. but it could very well be correct.

Well, about the hidden myst nins that use swords. I just happen to think that later in the manga, probably alot later after the akatsuki thing settles down which wont be for a shit load of chapters, that a hidden myst nin that uses a samurai sword or some wierd type of sword will introduce himself. I also think this person will be alot stronger than kisame and way more powerful than zabuza. Anyways, to make a long story short, kisame will still be alive along with itachi, first come last to go, and the guy who uses the sword will come to take kakashi's life because he thinks kakashi killed zabuza. Zabuza was this guy's friend as well, so this guy is pissed as hell, and kisame and itachi will show up just in time to try to capture naruto one more time. But the new guy will see kisame and attack him, but itachi will step in the way. Sasuke then shows up, and we will have a big fiasco. In the end, i know gai will be the one to kill kisame or at least fight him a good fight. This is just a really early prediction, so dont take it seriously LoL.

I've only read Naruto twice so most of my claims are based on memory from up to 3 - 4 years back. Talk about reliable huh XD Btw, which village again was the one with the zigzag headprotector? Since, they have accomplished their first objective, I can't help but wonder whats next. Since they are obviously going to play a big part in series II their next move shouldn't be far off. I highly doubt they'll go after Naruto straight away...

Well i have many thoughts about this arc, let's see...

Next Chapters:

Artistic-freak takes Gaara to Sasori, he congratulates her and they both go away.

Everyone goes crazy in Konoha trying to figure out what to do, trying helping Sand Village, and we meet some of the rookie 9 and stuff...

Meanwhile Akatsuki got Gaara, and in ch247 (not in Inane's translation) they said they should get Gaara first before going to Orochimaru, my guess is that Kabuto is the other Youma container, so a new pair of akatsukians will go to Sound village to take Kabuto and kill oro in the way, so they'll face Sasuke, Kabuto and Orochimaru.

Jiraiya will get some new information about Akatsuki's whereabouts and Konoha will send some people on missions to investigate (neji, shika...)

Sound village (sasuke, oro and kabuto -_-) will manage to pull the two akatsuki members back, and they'll send someone to investigate on them too, Sasuke with them....and so the Konoha chuunins will meet Sasuke again and talk to him to try and get him back (of course, useless) and so we'll see them argue, but Akatsuki notices them so they are forced to join forces to fight them.

We see other Akatsuki members gathering other kids with youmas inside of them, from all the different villages, thus causing a huge war between the countries.

I'm still thinking about the rest, but i pretty much have an idea :amuse

Yeah, how sweet would that be seeing one of the 7 nins of the mist fighting alongside gai and kakashi, or even jiraiya. I think it would be sweet if rock lee or someone tries to take down kisame and all of a sudden some sword clashes with his and everyone is like wtf? Then in the next ch. it shows some badass guy clashing swords with kisame and kisame says "holy shit, i gotta get out of here it is fukuza, the lonesome mist ninja!". I dont care who shows up but i want to see some of the 7 mist ninjas or the 3 sharingan user. This show gets me soo excited.

Who is Kabuto the container for?
Well I guess that just adds more to speculate.
I think Orochimaru should be healthy by now and Sasuke will no doubt be better trained then Naruto (considering Naruto tends to recycle and reuse jutsu where as Sasuke is more into variety). If the Akatsuki will target the Sound next then this is quite some development. I'll have to give it some thought.

I did find something interesting just now though.
In volume 8, chapter 2, page 18 the sound nin's jounin sensei (aka Orochimaru) bears the leaf symbol on his head protector. This is wierd because every other time you see him in this form he is wearing the sound

And there's no husband, that was a mistranslation...in japanese the word "danna" can mean either husband or master depending on its context and usage, and this time it meant "Master Sasori", not "Sasori's husband" , bug confusion, huh? XD

That brings me back to the "Perhaps the Akatsuki don't have a leader" thought chain..
I mean if each is from a different hidden village then why should one village be superior. And also, if there are nine hidden villages and the sound is not included then either therer is two people from the same village, one comes from a village currently unknown or doesn't come from a village and is just some super powerful ninka of no alliances.

Also, in that dark pic it looks like the pointy glowy eye guy has Sharingan or some with his eyes. He couldn't be the third Mangekyou Sharingan user, but it would give a little more reason for Itachi to be there. But that would also mean that two leaf shinobi are in the Akatsuki which I highly doubt.

You know what i have been thinking about, considering the thought on if there is a leader in the akatsuki, would if some members involved in the akatsuki do not agree with eachother's decision and decides to revolt. Personally, i cant picture every single member of the akatsuki being taken out easily by shinobi from konoha, and i cant see why everyone in the akatsuki would get along. Maybe kisame gets pissed at the ...yeah person and decides to kill her off, considering how there is definitely different levels of power within the akatsuki. I could picture each group of 2 in the akatsuki becoming fed up with the organization and branching off and creating their own squads and slaughtering villages and towns, they probably want all the power and glory for themselves anyway. That would make for an interesting storyline, you have itachi and kisame, sasori and ...yeah person, some others here and there, and then the venus fly trap guy murdering a bunch of sound ninjas and then running into rock lee and neji. They could make that an arc after this one possibly, cause i dont see very many of the akatsuki, if any, dying in this next arc. The first person i would predict to die though is the ...yeah person.

Personally I think the Akatsuki are well organised and are together because of a common goal, but your revolt point brings me to believe there must be a leader to keep everything in order. Perhaps their "leader" is accompanied by the weakest member to even things out or something.
Anyway, what it looks like to me is that they are planning to extract various youma and stir up relations with villages and then set them to war. They'll probably use the youma as leverage or just set em free to destroy countries or something.
Anyway, it would make sence if a multi-country war is what they are planning because what other reason would Orochimaru have to previously join them.
I can see the kage of other countries dying all of a sudden...

I mean they were prepared to cut off Naruto's legs so they obviously only wanted him for Kyubi and they said outright that they wanted Gaara for "One Tail" (aka Shukaku). See there has to be something to do with youma

I don't know what Haze is, maybe it's those nins from ep101, but that was filler.

And I don't know if some of the members will revolt in Akatsuki, we don't know there true objective yet...but still i guess they all will get pretty greedy and selfish and would want the power for themselves and there could be some revolt, but i don't know...i do think that in the end some of the akatsuki members will remain alive (and maybe become good), and do something in a future arc.

Argh who knows what will happen? until we know where this arc is heading then we can make some better predictions XD

Edit: i thought up some religious theory :laugh maybe what akatsuki wants is to create a huge war that would bring total destruction, like the apocalypse, so then they can create there own perfect world from start :confused

Oh yeah, red x, about sasuke killing itachi, i know everyone seems to think it is gonna happen. Considering how oro isnt as strong as itachi and sasuke wasnt even close to itachi, i seriously doubt training that long will enable him to kill itachi. I think kishi has something up his sleeve so dont just think sasuke is gonna kill itachi so easily, think it through buddy. Also, about kisame, he is not weak and please dont ever say that again, i mean come on he is in the akatsuki for gods sake. Gai will take him down, trust me on this one, gai hasnt done shit and it is far past time for him to kick someone's ass. I think kakashi will kill someone else although i dont know who. Anyways, i thought to make things interesting, i would bring up a topic we have not discussed, at least i dont think we have so correct me if im wrong. On to the topic now, regarding itachi, do you guys believe that itachi killed the whole uchiha clan except sasuke of course, for another reason besides testing his ability. I mean, what i think he was talking about when he says "his ability", is not his physical ability but his mental strength and mental stamina which relates to having the mindset to be able to slaughter your entire clan and family. Or maybe, the uchiha clan was doing something behind konoha and the rest of the ninja organizations behind their back, which forced itachi to kill them all. I dont know if this is true but the uchiha clan seems to have some mysterious shit happening behind the scenes. Itachi is definitely bad, but i do see some good in him because he is more hesitant to kill people unlike kisame and the hand/mouth girl. This is what I believe. Just mere speculation.
Itachi must have found something extremely shocking in the Uchiha shrine addressing the real use of the sharingan. He may have been so shocked and realised a heap of crap from that and found that the Uchiha were weak. Bam! he wipes em out and leaves Sasuke who is still a child to become the one to also unlock the sharingan secrets but push it to the point where he has the strength to kill Itachi.
Either way, perhaps Itachi is trying to draw out the real strength of the Uchiha

Dude, no offense but i think you are a little confused. I think you should go back and read the last 3 or 4 chapters so you can find out exactly who is who. The girl, or i think it is a girl, with the hand jutsu that has artistic jutsus is dedaria or whatever arcanis said. Sasori is the huge dude that is about to kick kankuro's ass lol. So, guys what do you think will happen between sasori and kankouro. IMO, i think that since the sand country sent that eagle or whatever bird it was to konoha to give important info on akatsuki and what happened to gaara, i think that kankouro is already beaten badly. I think that he was rash in his decision and that in the next manga or two or three mangas from now it will show temari in the hospital by kankouro trying to hold the tears back because he is on the virge of death. Idk, kankouro might even die soon in the manga, i wouldnt be suprised, dont know about you guys though. Anyways, i dont think kakashi, naruto, and sakura are going to the sand country but probably to sound or somewhere else. That would be too cliche and kankouro wont be fighting sasori for very long lol.

Thank god the internet finally works lol. Anyways, i agree with you arcanis on that they might start by going to sound village, besides oro, kabuto, and sasuke are bound to show up soon. I wonder when kabuto is gonna fight kakashi anyways, cant wait for that one. That is one reason i dont think kakashi will fight kisame, cause he is already gonna fight kabuto. Sorry for getting off topic, but yea i dont see them making it in time to save kankuoro cause i think kishi is gonna pull one on us and kill kankouro. Well actually i believe the most reasonable thing that will happen in 251 is that there will be a visiter to intervene with sasori and find out his motive, jiraiya of course. I am almost certain jiraiya will be involved in this fiasco, and if he isnt i have no clue who can take the akatsuki because i doubt kakashi can no offense to him.

Im sorry to say, cause im an itachi fan as well, but even if he wanted to there is no way in hell he could defeat all of the akatsuki by himself. I think itachi will revolt and turn on the akatsuki after about 5 or 6 of them are dead. There is no way itachi would want to go against all 8 of them, he would be killed in an instant. Anyways, you need to start liking kisame because i think he is a tremendous fighter and could probably kill kakashi with his awesome sword. I promise you guys, if i am wrong i will feel like an idiot, that kisame is gonna be defeated by gai, and itachi by someone unexpected, or maybe just sasuke wtf knows LoL.

Hmmm...I like your theories, and agree with them all pretty much. Although i think rock lee will be put in a dangerous situation and will almost be killed by kisame, but out of no where a sweetass kick hits him in the face. Gai says to kisame, "The green beast of konoha shall not die", and then he makes a serious face that he usually doesnt show. Kisame than says to gai "Its bigbrows again eh, this time i wont let you lay a finger on me, hehe" and kisame shows a dangerous smirk. Gai picks up rock lee and begins to cry and tells him to leave it all to gai, and lee salutes gai and falls asleep. Then genma comes to take rock lee and transport him to the nearest hospital. Battle begins and gai begins to fight him with all he has, but kisame gains the upperhand and begins to cut away some of gai's chakra. But gai has a few tricks up his sleeve and shows some jutsus that he has never shown, kisame comes back with a plan, he leads gai to a swamp and this is where the battle is changed. Kisame uses water jutsus and combines them with his badass sword and start tearing gai apart. Gai gives it one last shot to beat kisame but his taijutsu just didnt cut it. He is thrown in the water by kisame and kisame for some reason is rushed to leave and kill genma and rock lee, because they have both found out his intentions. Sorry to make this soooo long but kisame catches up with genma and rock lee in a couple of chapters and nails genma through a tree, and rock lee is left defenseless. It is almost over but gai comes back to redeem himself and uses his last technique to finish the job, the 8 gates of course. The 8 gates are opened and kisame is totally overwhelmed by his power, gai kicks the living shit out of him and kills him thoroughlly in the next chapter. Before gai dies he walks over to lee and hugs him, and says "Youth is explosion, never forget that...my son." And nobody will know whether son means actual son, or just a person so close that he thinks of him as his son. Anyways, gai dies and it is extremely sad, so it makes rock lee work even harder so that he can become stronger than gai ever was, and so that he can protect the ones he loves. End of story, thx if you read it.

:laugh i kinda liked that, it could go that way too, i really have a feeling that either Gai or Lee (or both) are going to die since we gotta see someone opening 8 gates, and will be a very emotive death like your post.

Sasori is from sand so he's likely to fight Gaara since he may have some interesting past regarding the old kazekage or something (gaara's dad).
Deidara is handicapped now, although still very dangerous, i think one of the chuunin could take him/her, killing him/her eventually.

The manga is gonna be sooo long, if there will be fights with all of the akatsuki members, plus orochimaru, kabuto, sasuke and random stuff inbetween i think there's still like 10-12 volumes left....damn i can't wait
