So, I've been re-watching the Wave Country arc recently, and I thought of something: Kakashi said that Zabuza tried to assassinate the Mizukage, failed, and had to flee Mist with a few of his remaining comrades. Do you guys think that Kisame was involved in that assassination attempt as well, and maybe left Mist around the same time as Zabuza?
I think it's possible that Kisame was involved, although I haven't read those chapters recently, so I can't say for sure. My unfounded assumption has always been that Kisame had left the Mist village earlier for some other reason though. :D
