THE 3rd scan showes his eyes havign tomes. He is a sharigan user.
I told you, that is a comparision between the different scans and editings, the one that has the tomoes (the upper right one) was because Inane believed he had sharingan and put them in there, but if you see the other pictures (and the ones scanned directly from Shounen Jump) you can clearly see that he has NO TOMOES!!

There is none. In the first scans on the six-pic thumbnail, that little prong is a result of a crappy scan, and on the thirs, it was just put there by Inane. If you look at the other two, it clearly shows that there are no tomoes.

I believe if succeed, sasuke is the 3rd mangekyou owner alive. if itachi was referring to a dead person, that would mean before him, there was only one MS owner. that would contradict with what their father said to sasuke. His father said 'there were only few people that managed to bla bla...'....the word 'few' is there. or else he too would've state 'only one'.

the questions are:
1. where/who/what is the other living MS owner? [could be a slug]
2. Does Akatsuki leader has sharingan? Or maybe byakugan? Machine-'Gan'?
3. Are we talking about the same person/thing?

So far, kishimoto has not yet answer all these questions. I'm not offending anyone but since the manga is in black-and-white, of poor quality and editted before served, there is high probability that it got corrupted. Now, if you guys could just edit any error in my spelling, and put all these in your sigs so nobody else would have to answer the same question over and over. It'll spoil the fun. If you think about it, there's an almost 99% possibility that the Akatsuki Leader is not an Uchiha.

I dont think the Akatsuki leader has a sharingan becuase when Kisame met Kakashi he was suprised to see another sharingan user and said that this is only the second person hes seen with the sharingan(not exact words but something along those lines). I think if the leader had it he would have shown the other akatsuki memeber to establish a sort of dominance, although theres the chance he could be hiding it...who knows.

I personally think the leader is the White Fang (Kakashis father), I have no evidence to support this, just a hunch.

And I think the name Akatsuki has some sort of relevance to the leader's identity...

And have any of you noticed a connection between Akatsuki and moder-day Japan? Japan is the land of the Rising Sun, correct? And Akatsuki is the Red Dawn, or just Dawn. During the dawn, the sun rises. See it?

Also, I don't think the leader has sharingan, just some weird eyes. Look at the rest of the Akatsuki's eyes. They're all quite odd in their own ways, but it doesn't mean they all have the [Mangekyou] Sharingan (wow THAT would be a powerful force). I don't really think it would be Kakashi's father either, being that he isn't even an Uchiha and probably didn't have the Sharingan (Kakashi didn't inherit his Sharingan through his father , Obito gave it to him right before he died.). I think the other person with MS would either be an important person in Uchiha history (he would be the first after all, before Itachi and Sasuke), or maybe even another "Tailed Beast".

i never quite understood why american felt it was their duty to change names like that. I mean they did it horribly to digimon, but things have lessened a bit in the years. Its fine to change the language to another so others can read it (manga-wise, if it's anime, i think everything should be subtitled), but you don't really need to change important names such as Kakashi, Kage Bunshin, etc. I mean the attacks sound so much more dramatic (and that's what animation, any animation is about, dramatic everything), they're just going to make Naruto sound much more Americanized, and that's a crime if you ask me.

Atkasuki means rising dawn. I think thats more of a meaning on how they rise in the way of power. Also if he is shisui hes the one who raised teh mageyaku in itachis eyes. Also it would be a great flashabck and make itachi fanboys happy to see how itachi got his eyes and how shsui got them aswell. Thats what i think is oging ot happen an itachi and shisui flashback when you meet them.

Yes, and that brings up a good point. DesignCore, if you think a person is dead by your hand, apparently, you get Mangekyou Sharingan, but...

What happens when you see the person you supposedly killed? ITachi must've been in the Akatsuki for at least 4 years, and in those four years, he should've figure out who the leader was, or at least whether or not it was Shisui. If so, then the Mangeyou should've disappeared, as Itachi never actually killed Shisui.

And, as I previously stated, shouldn't Kishimoto have dropped a line about Shishui even possibly being stronger than Itachi? Itachi is regarded as the scion of the Uchiha, meaning, he is the, or one of the best. Shisui was never mentioned to be potentially stronger than Itachi, even, and if Itachi has apparently been growing at a steady pace for 4 years at least, then how does Shisui become stronger than Itachi if he was weaker than him to begin with, and both are training?

Also, Shisui was the one Itachi killed to gain the Mangekyou, not the one he watched die. If he had managed to survive, then Itachi shouldn't have the MS, but he does. You can't fake a death against the Sharingan. You may argue that Itachi didn't have the Sharingan on the whole time back then, but all Uchihas who can always activate the Sharingan before going into any semblance of battle, no exceptions.

And what are you talking about, Reala? What did Shisui give to Kakashi?

Lukkanon think of it this way. Itachi was seen as teh best because he worked for it. If shisui jsut trained and didnt do much else he could easily be stronger then itachi jsut not show it to the whole village. Also the eye cant dissapear. Im sure its form the emotion you feel when you kill your best freind that u recive it. I mean you cant downgrade the eye. So whe he fond out he didnt kill him he wouldnt have lsot the eye because his body alrdy experianced the trama of it.

And im saying shisui was a mirage ninja all he had to do was imprint a perosn with his looks and then used a miarage technique to haev itachi kill him, and then he woudl have ran away making sure the body was still covred as his own.

That falls in with what he did with these 2 in chapter 260 he made them be itachi and kisame to the others both not really them. SO im sure he could have used 30% of his chakra and made it look like his body was the one floating there to everyone even itachi, and how hard woudl it be for him to imprint the idea of itachi killing his bestfreind. I mean itachi didnt have the mageyaku then and he didnt have his 3 tome sharigan on 24/7 back in the day.

Thats how its shisui.

And rememer. Its he who is seen to be the strongest not always known to be the strongest. Just because someone dosnt show there true potential and there true power dosnt mean there weaker. Okay, the MS shouldn't be awakened from the trauma of killing your best friend, because if you were crazy enough to do it, you shouldn't feel any trauma, which means it's most likely a jutsu that actually acts on the belief that your best friend is dead.

Well we dont know how its created yet. Im sure its from jsut being fucked up enough to kill the person which is initself brain trauma which in itself awakens it. If you find out later he was still alive your still got the brain damage so our eyes cant disapear.

Plus sumone had to tell itachi of how to achive the eyes. coincadence i think not.

The method of awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan was most likely in a scroll containing the secrets of the Sharingan, held within the Uchiha compund.

Now, the trauma wouldn't happen. If you can kill your best friend for power, you've gone past the point of being traumatized by his/her death.

If Itachi is supposed to be so good, then he would've at least detected Shisui, as he apparently held the genjutsu in place. And a genjutsu fades after the target or user dies. So unless Shisui stayed in Konoha the whole time, avoiding detection from ANBU, Jounin, Chuunin, Special Jounin, Interrogaters, and the Sandaime/Yondaime, then he couldn't have held the genjutsu in place long enough for Itachi to confirm that he was dead.

Think of it this way. They do dispose of your body. Also all he had to do was run away from the city. And if shisui alrdy had the mageyaku then it would have been easy for him to trap itachi. Also shanarous translation proves the point more the technique used was a uchia clan technique and it was also the leader who said I guess i have to use that jutsu.

So its all pointing to shizu. And trauma is trauma. Even form killing your best freind you will have pshyclogical scaring. And i dought it was in any type of scrolls. WHy because then they would fear that they would kill each other for the powerfull eyes. Also the jutsu should be held for as long as the chakra is there. Look at kisame and itachi with 30 % of chakra and all those attacks they still were there for a while. now 3)% of chakra and only be dead dosnt do to much trouble.

I think, if the Akatsuki leader has MS, Sharingan, or is even an Uchiha, that s/he would be one that left the area/neighborhood/clan before Itachi killed everyone. I doubt that Itachi would go out and hunt down every single Uchiha out of the clan's area just to see what he was capable of. It would be too (as Shikamaru would say) troublesome.

I personally think the leader doesn't have the sharingan. It does seem that every Akatsuki member we know of has something unique and one-of-a-kind about them (except maybe Orochimaru). Kisame is half-shark, Itachi has Mangekyou, Deidara has those mouths on his/her hands, Zetsu seems to be in some sort of cocoon-like thingy and can mesh with nature/plants, the other guy (who fought kankouro) seems to have a huge tail or something. And they all have weird eyes.

P.S. Who has a good torrent for 135? The dattebayo one doesn't seem to work for me, just tries to connect to peers for like EVER even though I'm seeing 20 or so.

Anywho, now that that's over...prehaps Shisui (if it is him) did the same thing to Itachi that Itachi is doing to Sasuke, wanting him to become stronger. So he duplicated himself, like Kisame and Itachi did during the fight with Gai and Kakashi, and led Itachi to believe he was killed. However...I don't think Kishi would use that same literature device again like that.

The scroll would have to have been there, otherwise no one would've known about the Mangekyou. And if Shisui fake was killed by hunter-nins, then yeah, it would've been disposed of quickly, but theythought it was a suicide, (Itachi killed him) and would've embalmed and either cremated or buried him.

And the when Itachi used the Mangekyou against Sasuke and Kakashi, it was over in a few seconds. The reason that they stayed in a coma was because the mental trauma was too great.

They werent in a coma when he used it on them. They were experiancing 72 years of pain in a matter of a second. so to them it was an enternity of getting there ass beat and stabbed.

And still how long does it take to bury a person not that long. Plus the same night itachi killed everyone in the clan. so he had to keep the disguise up for 1 day. WHy do u think he didnt let his true power be known.

Every one in konoha knew of itachi because of his power, know if shisui showed his true power then he woulda been greatly known then after all the happenings and itachi kills the whole clan and you jsut see dead bodys they would notice shisui isnt really there. But laying low and now showing his power made him only known to the uchiha and in that case when the konoha were looking at the dead bodys his body transformed back to what it was and they didnt even notice. That explains why he never let his power be known.

IT aslo can tie in to a reason itachi could have killed the whole clan. It coulda been after he figured out shisui was alive he decided to do it for others to not figure it out then he went in serch of him. after he killed the whole clan. (Im sure the mageyaku could have seen though the disquise of the doupplegenger).

Theres many possibilities. But thats my take on why shisui wasnt known to be so strong, and how hes one smart mother fukker.

I was surprised that all of them became chuunin and even others, like Neji (which, might I add, Naruto beat in the main matches, even though it was a stupid mistake) turned into jounin after only 2 and a half years.

Its actually unrealistic. Personally, I think Temari could be a better Kazekage. Gaara's still... Well, Gaara. Tayuya would have pwned her.

And yes, Neji is a jounin. Shikamaru and Sakura both said it, that out of their graduating class, all of the Rookie 9 plus Team Gai had made Chuunin, except for Neji, who had made Jounin.

And I usually don't bother to watch the anime, because it takes too long to download, and there's too much filler. That, and I've always hated the way some of the episodes are animated. I mean, overhead views of Naruto make him look like a yellow sea urchin, a lot of the episodes have the characters looking like rubber, and a lot of times, they look like thick Betty Spaghetti dolls.

The Shadow clone of Naruto was there to help with the Rasengan. YOu said Itachi had captured a Kage BUnshin in the genjutsu aimed toward Naruto. He created the Kage Bunshin to help with the usage of Oodama Rasengan. If it had been a Bunshin in the genjutsu, then it would've smirked, poofed out of existence, and revealed the real Naruto dropkicking Itachi into Kisame's nonexistent smexiness. That's his style.

No, Kakashi became a Jounin at 14, Neji is 17 (he's a genius too), Kankuro is 18 and Temari is 19 (they're really smart and strong!)

During this time without any thing specific to do (i can't write music without my comp) i wrote some strip scripts. I've just now started drawing them and strip one was just finished.

After reading what I missed, I'm seriously confused about the ages about everyone in this anime/manga.

I also think Kishi needs to become a bit more familiar on a couple things. Kakashi looked like he was 8 in Kakashi Gaiden, all the Genins (pretimeskip) seem to look and act anywhere from 11 to 15, it looks like nobody aged after the timeskip (they're teenagers, 3 years is ALOT. i.e. Sakura should have huge breasts by now LOL), and Itachi was 13-14 when he murdered his clan (He became ANBU shortly before killing everyone, and Kakashi mentioned in episode 82 or 83 I think that he was the guy who became ANBU at the age of 13.). And don't get me started on Haku and Deidara. *shudder*

I don't know, if you ask me, I think the voices and even what they looked like (look carefully, it looks like a hologram or something) seemed warped, as if they were covering something up. Maybe the anime creators weren't sure if Deidara was a male or female, so they made it like that so when it comes time to actually reveal he/she/it, it won't be all messed up or anything. *shrug*. Then again they might have just contacted Kishi for her/his/its gender so they can get the appropriate voice (they couldn't have just guessed the colors of the character's hair/clothes/whatnot).

If shisui joined after orochimaru left then orochimaru wouldnt know about him. Hence he wouldnt know there was another sharigan user. hence why he was only scared of itachi. when he dosnt know what really lurks. But the reason i think the leader is shisui is because of how they speak in the manga. In the manga kisame said " if we dont hurry up the leader will kill us) SO hes hiding his name. I mean why would he hide sum ones name for no reason. Which means the character must have been able to be identified by his name.

Yea When I first started watching Naruto, Kakashi was my Favorite. Then I saw Episode 48-50 and Became a Rock Lee Freak. After seeing Episode 81-85 Kisame and Itachi are super cool char and I was hook on them and Jiraiya. just recently seeing Episode 135 made me turn to the Darkside. :P

I have developed a strange theory concerning the Akatsuki organization.Tsukiyomi isn't Itachi's jutsu, but rather the Akatsuki leader's jutsu. Akatsuki Leader=Dawn leader, and the organization is dawn. Tsukuyomi has to do with night, and darkness. akaTSUKI TSUKIyomi. They sound a lot the same. Akatsuki and Tsukiyomi both have the TSUKI in them, which must mean something. Well, that just makes the leader more kickass, to be able to activate Tsukiyomi without the sharingan.

Er...Akatsuki means Dawn, but can also be translated into Red Moon. Tsukiyomi, if you break it up: Tsuki - Moon Yomi - Underworld. Get it now? Aka is red, Tsuki is moon. Though, Akatsuki is supposed to mean dawn, I believe, symbolizing the "new age" that's supposed to come about.

And I doubt Tsukiyomi is the Akatsuki's sig move. It's said to be a technique of the Mangekyou Sharingan, the ultimate form of the Sharingan. Ultimate genjutsu, or something like that.

They don't seem to be holograms, so much as extremely creepy shadows, or astral forms. Kishimoto's probably trying to torture us by making us theorize over the Leader's identity.

No point in leaving a person more powerful than him as teh leader of an organization who's out for his blood, especially when he had enslaved him.

Now, for the physical reasons:

THe spikiness of the hair is different than that of the Yondaime's. It looks slightly slicked back, shorter, and more like a windswept Shino.

The eyes are too wide. Yondaime seems to have sort of narrow eyes, and the leader's eyes are quite wide. And Yondaime didn't have Kurenai-like circles.
