what would be cool is if Team Gai run into Itachi and Kisame as they leave Konoha. I'd like to see how GAi would fight the Sharingan, (and see him go all out period). Also I want to see the Byakugan face the Sharingan one on one. It would be awesome. no doubt.

yeah that would be pretty interesting, byakugan vs sharingan and gai opening gates against Kisame. But i was also thinking about flytrap guy, since everyone is having a cold around Konoha it could be him doing some sort of jutsu and then team gai meats him and his partner (if he has one) and show some badass fighting! (and tenten backstory XD)

and his/her name is Deidara, it makes more sense that it is Teidara as it means three mouths or something like that but no....it's Deidara.

We don't know if Gai would own Kisame....we haven't seen the shark-guy's true potential yet. And also Gai would have a very little chance against Itachi, even with the "technique" he developed against the sharingan.

Yes yes...as i have stated many times there is no way gai isnt going to fight kisame, he defenitely will at some point. Gai pwns Kisame!!!! actually not own but beat with a passion.

As for the latest chapter, it was pretty sweet in my opinion so can someone explain to me what was going on in the last few pages, i was lost at what the hell that huge demon statue thing was. Anyways, post a reply if you can help me put the pieces together.

We got to see akatsuki's hideout, with a weird entrance indeed (some live mouth thing) and we finally know that the leader is the same one we thought was the leader from the cave pic (just look at his eyes) and he summons a huge statue with two hands and the rest of the members on top of it! man that was too awesome!!
I think the leader is gonna do some kind of ritual, because the rest of the members are all on top of the fingers watching, and the leader remained on the floor next to gaara :cool

Now i seriously can't wait for the next chapter :nuts

Just so anyone knows.. this is about Ch. 255 of the manga, Not there yet.. don't read.

Quite kick ass indeed. The parting words mentioned Hades, wonder if that is the name of that Summon. The leader is definitely the guy with the concentric circle eyes. It still is hard to tell if it is indeed Sharingan or not. What is strange tho, is his ghostly appearance. You can see right through the guy. What's up with that. If what people say, that he is obito, then he's a ghost Obito.

Okay!!!! Back to my crazy ass predictions. Who in this FC thinks i am on to something, i believe the leader of the akatsuki is none other than...yep you guessed it! YONDAIME! Dont get me wrong, Yondaime is not a badguy, his body is just doing its own thing or something because his soul is trapped after he sealed the Nine Tails into naruto. I dont believe naruto is yondaime but that he is rather related to him in some sort of spiritual way. I think Yondaime's body is leader of the akatsuki because he is far stronger than any of them and could therefore control all of them by being uber powerful. Yondaime is not actually an evil person but his body is doing as it wishes and has become the leader of the akatsuki, i mean come on, do you actually think the leader of the akatsuki is going to be just some random guy? Hell no, kishimoto is trying to pull something on us and this is it, besides, he has to bring Yondaime into the manga sooner or later. After all, he is talked about soo often and compared to naruto and i think kishi will probably make naruto and the other ninjas of konoha unseal him or some shit and then Yondaime defeats all the Akatsuki members himself. I seriously hope that doesnt happen, but i wouldnt be suprised if it did.

Anyway, post your opinion about this subject, Go for it!!

I assume that it will either be absorbed into the statue (and open one of its eyes) or be transferred to one of the members somehow. It'll probably ruin Gaara though and make him ex-kazekage :( I really liked Gaara just the way he was. He'd probably be hell stoked to be able to sleep for a few weeks and begin picking up chicks though.

and since I couldn't be bothered typing it again to suit this forum, heres a copy + paste of my post regarding this most recent chapter from another forum I attend.

Well, if all characters arrived at the same time: Team Kakashi + Team Gai + Old Lady = 8. If Gaara woke up, that would make nine characters. Nine-on-nine fight?

It'd be pretty stupid, because I acn't believe that those nine would stand a chance against the Akatsuki; but also, that kind of battle is for the end of the manga, not now. There's no way the whole of Akatsuki can get involved in a battle this early on. But I don't really understand where else this current plot could go - Kakashi et al are heading towards the Akatsuki Cave for certain. What are they going to do when they get there? It wouldn't be much of a story if they just ran away. It would be slightly more of a story if they went in, found the Akatsuki gone and Gaara lying there, but still not very much... It'd be a waste of 5+ chapters, put it that way. So there has to be some kind of fight...

I guess we can probably rule out the nine-on-nine thing, both because the Akatsuki would easily win and because it's unlikely they'll all be introduced and shown in action so soon (especially the leader). So that means it'll have to be just a few Akatsuki left behind. Maybe they'll leave a few to guard Gaara, or guard the cave in general or something? Meh, I can't see where this is going any more.

I just want to see Sasuke and Itachi, damn it. :p

Something wierd i've learned though..
The name Yuuhi Kurenai means sunset(or something to that effect)
and Akatsuki means sunrise (or something to that effect).
Kurenai has weird eyes and as does the leader. :-/
I don't believe that the leader is Kurenai or related or anything..

But about Yondaime's soul leading Akutsuki...no. Just no. I personally think it may be a demon of some sort, that needs a body to inhabitat. I've always tried to deny that the leader of the Akatsuki has the Sharingan but when I read the latest scanlation n did the zooming thing on his eyes, I think he does have the Sharingan. -sigh- Talk about over-use of a nice bloodline limit. Everyone has to have them. :confused

I don't think the leader is Obito coz the leader still clearly has TWO eyes. Not Yondaime too, he's too great a guy to start turning evil. Plus, he's dead or is Naruto as I like to believe. :P

My bet goes to Itachi's supposedly dead best friend, Shisui of the Mirage/Illusion whatever translation u choose to believe. It explains the leader's Sharingan n his mirage/illusion-like appearance. I've always insisted that Itachi didn't murder his entire clan so I'm throwing all the blame on Shisui!!!!! :D

But still, long live the Akatsuki! :cool

Yeah, I knew that too. There is a difference between Shannaro n Inane but I still like them both. Inane sometimes do their cleaning too good that they add things to it. But anything can happen in Naruto world. We need to see the real Shonen Jump to confirm the eyes. :P

Um....if you look at the raw and zoom in like crazy you can still see the 3 dots -_- (shannaro removed it while cleaning)
BUT it's definately not a normal sharingan (if it even is....) since it has an extra circle around the pupil.
So i guess almost everyone agrees now that the leader is the 3rd mankegyou user and it's most likely to be Shisui...i don't see how one can kill his best friend :crying that was all lies, plus we never saw Shisui die, or even his face or any information at all so why did we get his name.....? because he is actually important and it's the Leader of Akatsuki :amazed

In the recently released Hero Book (came out with ch254 and yes it is official) some info about akatsuki got cleared up, in page 5 we can see Deidara saying some stuff:

Kabuto seems to be the only one likely to be the one Sasori "poisoned", but who knows...

Also i don't think Zetsu was near Team Gai, i think he can use the plants to appear anywhere he wants, and has some weird ability with his left (white) eye.
And it's pretty obvious Gaara is gonna get saved before the 3 days are over (which could be longer if Kisame gets pwned) but he's gonna end up REALLY badly injured T_T

In summary this was easily one of my favorite chapters ever, like 3rd or 2nd one...to unbelievebly awesome! it made me regain my interest in part 2

Now if 256 would just come faster >_>

Well yeah you're right, the leader said he would use "that" jutsu but kisame said "no...i'll fight him" or something and the leader then said something like Kisame out of everyone would be able to do that jutsu and still give chakra to the gaara "ritual" and he said he had a lot of chakra.

I must agree! Chapter 255 has made me regain my interest in Part 2 greatly! I've never seen so much of Akatsuki in just ONE chapter! There always seems to be one in every group... there's the member who's itching to fight someone on page 13 (ch. 255). Kind of like how Tayuya appeared (you know, the swearing, redheaded girl that Shikamaru fights and Temari kills?).

Deidara's still awesome. Notice that he is molding chakra with only one hand. Proof! Proof that molding chakra with one hand has nothing to do with bloodlines (though I gotta admit... Deidara does seem like he has a bloodline limit). But even better is Zetsu, as we can see that his appearance was not registered by any of Gai's group, including Pakkun.

Well yeah you're right, the leader said he would use "that" jutsu but kisame said "no...i'll fight him" or something and the leader then said something like Kisame out of everyone would be able to do that jutsu and still give chakra to the gaara "ritual" and he said he had a lot of chakra.

Besides, I thought Kisame would've been a good choice to go up against Naruto. His sword has the ability to eat up chakra and that's the main problem when fighting Naruto. Plus, we now know that Kisame has an insanely large amount of chakra as well. So why Sasori?

Anyway, back to why Itachi n Kisame targetted Naruto in the first place. Well, Itachi knows Konoha best making it an advantage to move around the village looking for Naruto. We know Naruto can release a lot of chakra while Kisame's sword likes to eat chakra. It's a perfect match I say. :wink

Kisame does have a lot of chakra. Plus a chakra-eating sword, he's probably unstoppable. :P He might have a problem going against 4 people at one time although the next preview says it's just him against Gai. I hope the other Akatsuki backup is a new face though. He'll probably get the privilege to deal with the other 3 while Kisame is bz with Gai.

Tyraelis: From the way he could mould clay into anything he wants, he probably has a bloodline limit. I hope he doesn't though. Haha, honestly. Yea, I'd also have to agree that Deidara has a bloodline-limit, I mean, yea, the hand-mouths. I'm quite interested to see some more of Kisame's jutsu's, because we have seen very little of the Kirigakure Jutsu's except for Zabuza and some of Kisame, otherwise, very little of their jutsu's have been shown.

I'm pretty sure at least 8 members are from different villages and one is repeated, because Sound was just recently created...or we may have one member from a new village =)

maybe itachi lied about obtaining the mangekyou since sasuke is so stupid to find the way on his own....maybe the original idea was 'to obtain the mangekyou sharingan, one must have the guts to kill his bestfriend' since i think that could be the hardest thing to do [with respect to the value of friendship in this story]...

if shisui is still alive, he could've easily become the hokage compared to itachi...him being the mirage...i remember itachi said if sasuke succeed, he'll be the 3rd mangekyou user...i thought itachi's the 2nd one n the 1st one was their very 1st ancestor.

good thing there's another sharingan user. i'd love to see what else the sharingan can do besides copying, tsukiyomi and amaterasu...

While I do think that my speculation has a good chance of being correct, it is speculation nonetheless, and should in no way be treated as proof of anything.If Naruto was Sasori's target from the beginning, why did Itachi and Kisame seek him out back in chapter 145?I would point out that back when Itachi and Kisame went after Naruto they were using the phrase 至上命令 'shijou meirei' to describe there mission, whereas, from the end of part one, things have changed to using the word ノルマ 'noruma'. 'shijou meirei' means something like 'an order which must be obeyed at all costs, something to be treated as more urgent than all else.' 'shijou' meaning 'supreme' or 'absolute' or the like, 'meirei' meaning 'command' or 'order'. 'noruma' on the other hand is a much more average term meaning 'assignment', 'job', or 'quota'.

From this one could easily theorize that Itachi and Kisame's previous mission doesn't have anything directly to do with the current assignments. And because 'shijou meirei' is a command after all, you could even speculate that Itachi and Kisame were being sent in place of someone else.

As to why Sasori's assignment would be Naruto, well there's certainly the fact that it would make a very nice order as shown by my little chart. But that's not all. At the end of ch. 251 Sasori said something to the effect of, 'it would be nice if [my Jinchuuriki] would come to us [instead of us having to going after it]'. This is important because it was just in this same chapter that Naruto's team had left Konoha, and this thus could be seen as not just a coincidence, but an attempt on Kishimoto's part to foreshadow something. Then again, Sasori is also saying in the same chapter something like 'there won't be any problem, as long as I get one jinchuuriki, right?' So the assignments may very well be more arbitrary and not in any way absolute. Anyhow, as I said above, it's all speculation in the end.

Thanks, liz! I actually have a few doubts about it as well, but being a Sasuke fanboy I like it all the same.

Anyway, in an effort to maybe get some discussion going I'm gonna paste something I wrote in that thread here and see what you guys think about it.


As for the rings, I have a seperate theory regarding that. Of course we know all of the rings can't pertain DIRECTLY to the Youma, as there are no Kyuubi and Shukaku rings. We also know that all of the rings have seperate directions, colors, or numbers that they relate to. My theory is that the rings represent each members role among Akatsuki, and their role in whatever the greater purpose of the organization is.

I believe that the four guardian rings are the exceptions, and are directly related to the four guardian youma. These four are similarly the "guardians" among their individual Akatsuki teams, and when together are the guardians of Akatsuki as a whole. All of these guardians are also present together on the "Right Hand" of the Leader's summon, with the Leader at their thumb.

Example: Suzaku, Itachi's ring, is the guardian of the South. And who do we know is the holder of the South ring? Kisame. Despite Kisame's attitude, Itachi is the one that is constantly keeping him in check, watching his back, and undeniably saved his life versus Jiraiya in the Inn.

The problem with this theory is that there are no East/West rings, they are "Sphere" and "Three" instead. I have no real explanation for this. However, here are what I believe the pairs to be.

Itachi (Suzaku, Guardian of the South)
Kisame (South)

Zetsu (Genbu, Guardian of the North)
Giant Guy (North)

Frustrated guy? (Byakko, Guardian of the West)
Shika-hair? (Three)

Deidara (Seiryuu, Guardian of the East)
Sasori (Sphere)

By deduction the remaining pair is:

Leader (Zero, I believe this relates to the Underworld or Hell)
Orochimaru (Sky, the heavens)

Granted we don't know much about many of these characters, but this is just one possiblity I thought of. The rings are not exactly a rank, but still significant to the roles. Once Akatsuki has completed the "Jinchuuriki" phase of its mission, I believe the rings will again relate to the final ultimate role of each member.

Do you guys see this as being possible? Do you think my pairings are flawed?

Yeah, what keeps most people from thinking about that combination is as soon as we saw Zetsu (flytrap) alone people all jumped to conclusions and started saying "zOMG! That's Orochimaru's old partner because...he's alone right now!"

In reality, nothing has proven this and just because the Akatsuki carries out their missions in pairs doesn't mean they are handcuffed to each other.

Take a look at Kisame now, he's moving against Gai and his team by himself.

Exactly, there's no reason to believe that Zetsu was the former partner of Oro, expect maybe for their possition in the statue fingers, but that means nothing since itachi and kisame and deidara and sasori are not next to each other.
And also, they don't have to do everything with their partner, zetsu could even have a partner but he likes to act by himself, who knows?.
Well the rings obviously mean something important and i believe you theory and Nihongaeri's are the most accurate ^^

Well we now know what Akatsuki is after (finally!), the bijyuus or tailed-beasts (one tail, two tails....nine tails) which contain a massive amount of chakra, the Villages tried to used them for war in the past but couldn't contain their power, now i think most of those tailed beasts -which are 9- are sealed inside people but maybe some are kept safe secretly, somewhere...

We could see the big statue taking some sort of liquid out Gaara, which is the essence of Shukaku i supose. The statue also has 2 eyes with pupils, which could mean they already captured 2 of the bijyuus (makes sense since we know they've done this jutsu before). There are some theories saying that Kisame already got his jinchuuriki and implatented the bijyuu inside of him and that's why he looks like that, but I seriously doubt they are sealing this beasts inside themselves, it most be something else....

Kisame!! omg he surprised me, he made a high level suiton in the desert and created a huge wave and lake, awesome! but i don't know how he's gonna beat Team Gai when they have such awesome teamwork, we'll see if he is even more powerful than what we expected...

And Itachi meating Team Kakashi, i think Sakura is gonna get really mad at him, but meh....i could see Itachi losing this fight because those 4 are just too much but who knows...

I"m still one to think that Kisame has a Bijyuu inside him. He has an enormous chakra, and one so large that Neji compared it to Naruto's. He either has the thing inside of him, or just the beasts chakra/abilities. Perhaps that is how the Bijyuu's power will be contained. To destroy the creatures consciousness and sealing it away, while ripping its power and chakra out of the container and sealing it within a new host.

Great chapter also. Akatsuki is really seeming like they wish to create another war. Perhaps if there is one nin from each Sato they wish to take over their respective Sato's and reign as the new "Kage" while their leader is the ruler over all.

Yeah, Kisame isn't taking the fight seriously. That was one of his major weaknesses though, underestimating people. He'll probably be the first Akatsuki to go down!! :sad Itachi meeting Kakashi's team... It's very difficult to predict its outcome. Kakashi, Naruto n Sakura r very strong but Itachi barely broke a sweat. Heck, he even came alone. :confused He's gotta have something prepared for them!!

I'm curious as to how Kakashi is going to hold his own against Itachi. Itachi's stronger than the Hokages and Orochimaru said that Kabuto is about as strong as Kakashi. Even after years since that was said, I'm sure Itachi didn't get weaker. If Kakashi can hold his ground against Itachi, that would mean Kakashi is around the Hokage level. Which would mean all the other Konoha jounin, guessing that they're still around the level of Kakashi, are near Hokage level too. I'd say Konoha has a pretty damn strong army.

Itachi is not stronger than the Hokages....Shodai, Nidaime, Sarutobi and Yondaime still own him. But he is indeed very powerful, i don't think Kakashi could beat him 1 on 1 but we'll see.....and also if Kakashi is kage level now, it doesn't mean that all the other konoha jounins are kage level too, Kakashi is a genius and has the sharingan, he improves faster than the other.

But still i think konoha is the strongest village ^^

Yo guys, i havent been on in a while but i just felt like getting back on and discussing the current chapters and how the developments have turned out, pretty sweet if i might say so myself. By the way writtenlife, you have the sweetest quote ever, bruce cambell is the shit!!

Okay, now to get to the point. Hmmm...does anyone have a feeling that either kisame or one of the people from gai's team will die? I am not so sure myself, i think right now is just a mini arc, and that after all this stuff is said and done with, its time to go to another village we havent seen. I dont suspect that kakashi, naruto, and the others r just going to go back to konoha so soon, i believe that another village and character will soon be introduced to the manga, not an evil character either. As for sasori's grandmother, the only purpose she serves is to go track down sasori and have her way with him, which i doubt she will. I think she will get her ass handed to her and possibly die, very dramatically of course and then it will be kakashi's chance to shine as he dukes it all out with sasori. Deidara...hmmm... naruto, sakura, and a few unsuspected allies will come to help with her ass. Possibly the sand ninja, kankurou and temari but i really dont want them to, that would just suck, i mean kankurou just got poisoned and temari doesnt seem like she wants to be a shinobi anymore. I dont think this whole itachi v. naruto or kakashi will last long, i think what kishimoto has in plan is just some info that will be revealed about the leader and other members or something.

The next two, three, and maybe four chapters are going to be cutting back and forth between itachi and kisame's battle. Kisame's battle will go like this, just in my opinion though: Gai smiles and says "You are from the akatsuki? Hahahaha!!" Kisame will become extremely furious and say, "You really are an annoying bastard, arent you? I would expect more from a person that kicked me, i believe its time i show you what the akatsuki is all about." Gai says then that he thinks his student can defeat him and kisame takes it as a huge insult, and its time to get down to business. Zabuza used a water jutsu to trap kakashi, and kisame will do the same to the former genin. He will trap them in some sort of water thing, and then gai will have to become alot more serious.

Meanwhile, itachi has his showdown with naruto and kakashi, while sakura just helps very minorly, and the old woman is just waiting for sasori. Itachi lays the beat down on naruto and kakashi says "naruto-kun, have you not learned anything with jiraiya? You cant use those types of attacks on someone of his calibur!" whatever attacks he is using lol, something that isnt working of course. Naruto gets furious and starts to pull out one of the jutsus he learned while training which gives kakashi time to counter-attack on itachi. They get the upper hand but you know who comes to the aid of itachi, yep, zetsu. That is all i have for now but jiraiya will show up soon imo, and if he doesnt, it looks pretty bleak for naruto and co. cuz you have itachi, kisame,sasori, deidara, and the psycho who cant be seen, zetsu. Whatever happens next, i just hope that gaara has shukaku withdrawn from him, it would show that the akatsuki is damn strong, and that konoha cant take them lightly. If they kill kisame, deidara, or sasori soon it will make the akatsuki look pretty weak. DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!

In the upcoming chapters, could be next chapter or 100 chaps from now, but please choose one of the answers you see fit or post one of your own replies if you have a better idea. Here goes, answer the following: Zetsu either has a:
A) Bloodline limit which allows him to traverse through the wilderness and come and go as he wishes out of the environment and blend in with the surroundings
B) Zetsu contains a youma within him and has emmense chakra abilities and attributes, or skills, due to the demon within him. This allows him to be a very strong villain and duke it out with other youma containers
C) Is a creation or disaster that was a mistake, somehow Zetsu was the final resolution. He is a creation and due to this he can blend in with his surrounding due to his body structure or body form, and he also has a deformity on him which is the fly trap looking thing around his body
D) Is just a very wierd and odd looking fellow who can absorb any type of plant and spy on other shinobi, and also uses this camoflauge to travel about the countries and spies on all types of people, he is the info gatherer for the akatsuki
E) Your own opinion, plz post

Next question, ........Zetsu will either :
A) Appear in the next chapter, 258, in the fight between gai and kisame because gai gains the upper hand. Zetsu will use a jutsu and come pouncing out of the water and traps gai in some sort of jutsu that combines his body with the water. Gai is then cut in half by kisame, lol jk about that...or am i?
B) Shows up in the itachi v. kakashi dual, while itachi is ganged up on, zetsu traps naruto in a tree while he is trying to spring an attack on itachi. Zetsu then dissappears back into the wild and kakashi is left to ponder where zetsu lies, and the tide shifts to where zetsu and itachi v. kakashi is the final outcome
C) Appears when jiraiya, asuma, and kurenai show up to interfere with the fights, and thus comes out to bail out both itachi and kisame so they can live to see another day
D) Shows up when and if naruto and co. gets to the cave to stop the ritual to take shukaku out of gaara. He comes to make the fight one sided, and then naruto and the others must haul ass cuz zetsu rules all.

Now ch257 was awesome IMO, Kisame just rules too much, to be able to do that combo so fast is impresive. And man! Kakashi was really confident now and it seems he knows something that surprised Itachi (maybe the secret of the sharingan from the Nakano Shrine), this fight specially, will be awesome...

The teaser said that the fights will end in a shocking way, i'm surprised they're already ending in just 19 pages of next chapter, but maybe we'll get a double chapter with 40 or so pages so the fights can last a while and be greater, they're taking a week off after all...

I know I know, this isnt the chapter 258 predictions spot, but you know what, i felt like posting what will happen regarding the akatsuki, gai, and kakashi's team. Here goes guys, be prepared for GEMPACHI'S LAMEASS PREDICTIONS!!! Also, this chapter will be twice as long, 40 pages because the fights will be shown and also the conclusion, its gonna rule!!

First of all, in the next chapter, it will start off by showing gai and kisame facing eachother and all of a sudden a wave of water appears behind kisame, and its GAI!! Who then does a sweet vortex type kick we havent seen him do, and kisame says "Damnit, this Maito Gai is much faster than i ever imagined, it seems he has become serious due to the threat of his students, hehe...gives me and idea." You know what that means, that kisame uses a water jutsu to get away from gai and goes far away in the outskirts of the water, and he then does a hand signal and says, "Lets see if you are fast enough to stop this you bastard beast!" And then the shields that are holding the students in start to collapse and choke the students, and then the clones pull out their swords to cut through all of gai's team. But then all of a sudden, 3 gai's attack all the clones and kick them through the water and kisame says "What! Are you telling me he used a replecation technique like mine, mmm...interesting maito gai!" After this, gai hits the real kisame in the stomache and does a backflip onto the water, and says, "You must not know of the hard work i put into tai jutsu! I havent even used a kage bunshin!" Hell ya, this means gai is getting damn serious, but then kisame smiles and says "I believe i should stop tormenting you and kill you right here and now, you dont even have a clue of my power." Then it cuts away from the fight and turns to you know what, itachi and kakashi, also naruto.

Kakashi and Itachi stare eachother down for a slide and then before you know it, 2 naruto clones come out behind the trees and throw 2 kunai each at itachi, but itachi then pulls out two kunai of his own and throws them directly at the others which knocks them both down. But this is where it gets good, kakashi does an earth type jutsu and comes under itachi and puts a huge rock of earth and shit around him, then naruto jumps up onto a tree limb and throws a kunai at the earth surrounding itachi, but its no regular kunai, its EXPLOSIVE!! Itachi says "This kid is for real, i wont let him get away so easily this time" and he reverses the jutsu and jumps at kakashi and hits him in the face and uses dark chakra to hit him through a tree. But kakashi pops and it was a clone, and then another kakashi comes behind him and uses the chidori but itachi deflects it, but that wasnt kakashi either, he has gotten damn good this time, and itachi comments "Kakashi san, you are incredible now, if it werent due to my lack of vision, you would be dead. Shall i end your pain?" Then naruto says to itachi, "You have caused too much pain on sasuke! I am gonna finish you whether or not kakashi sensei wishes it!" Right then itachi smirks and naruto does a hand signal and all of the trees around them collapse and fall onto itachi but he just comes out of another tree and says, "Naruto kun, you have a multitude of jutsus at your disposal now, but they wont be adequate to defeat me." Bla bla bla, next page is where the battles conclude, kisame is facing gai and comes through the water and blasts a shitload of chakra at him with his sword and gai gets blown into the air. Then kisame says "Let me finish you so i can return to my duties." But someone uses a jutsu to bring gai to the ground and kisame is swormed with bugs. That is right, its kurenai's team!!! But the thing is, it was too late, kisame already used part of the jutsu and gai is injured extreeeemely bad. Kisame says, "aghhhh...damn. The odds arent too good, 8 on 1 isnt in my favor unless i use my jutsu." Then it cuts away to the cave and the ritual is nearing completion. The leader says, "Itachi...kisame...now is the time to leave as quickly as possible. We cant afford to lose more time or chakra. Besides, we have a strong foe on our hands." Kisame and itachi's shadows say "Chssssh..." because they are angry about the turnout. Next slide shows asuma's team and the huge gama bunta come out and jiraiya is on him, itachi says, "This is not the time to fight..." and he uses a jutsu to get the fuck out of there. Then it cuts to kisame and the others, kisame uses a huge water jutsu to transport him way far away, and the slide shows gai hurt very badly with the students now at his side. Then it shows the fly trap guy in the tree next to jiraiya, naruto, and asuma's team. Jiraiya comes down and says, "Things have become rather bad kakashi, asuma." Kakashi and asuma are stunned. Jiraiya says, "War has been declared by the cloud, fire, and water countries. Aside from gaara, 2 more youmas have been tracked down by the akatsuki, i believe naruto would be safer in the sound village or elsewhere." And everyone is stunned, and then it cuts to the fly trap guy who says "Jubaki, it appears jiraiya sama is aware of much of our doings...shall i attack?" Leader says, "no zetsu, although you are extremely skilled, keep an eye on kakashi and his student, who contains the kyuubi." And then he smiles. The end of the chapter concludes with all of the akatsuki members standing over gaara and one says, "a few more moments and shukaku is at our will...things our going good right now." Kisame and itachi are still a little angry about not being able to get what they wanted. Then the chapter ends, with the last page showing orochimaru and kabuto discussing what they will do to interfere with the akatsuki's plans. Oro says "Itachi is not the threat he once was kabuto kun, he is going...blind." And then you see two eyes with the sharingan and the person says, "What has happened to that...murderer?" End of chapter, pretty sweet eh.

Anyways, post what you thought of my prediction for the mega chapter...OHHHHH YEAAAA!!!

hah! kakashi seems pretty confident going against itachi. maybe simply because itachi is out numbered...but if he's smarter, he should realize they're living in a world where instant cloning is possible...like..yes..kagebunshin...how long can one keep staring at the other's feet in a battle? and if there's ore than 2 feets to keep track? yes, kakashi also has the sharingan, but simply i think two itachi is more than enough to handle all of them...plus, his clones explodes...i'm biased if you want to say, but so far, even a genin doujutsu user like neji can pull out kidoumaru. u know the rest.

as for kisame and gai, i dont know what would happen if samehada shaves kisame...i dont know if it'll backfire its master...and i havent seen much of his water jutsus. gai's three students would die if something is not done to those mizu-bunshins. i'm really hoping it'll be a close match between them. i'm in a favor of kisame. yes, again, biased, since he's an akatsuki: u know the rest.

Nobody knows. It hasnt been revealed yet, but my money's on that it's related to the Sharingan, and the Mangekyou in particular perhaps.
