Firstly the eyes have no resemblance to sasuke's i don’t know where u got that from seeing as the leader's eyes contain rings, and sasuke's doesn’t! :huh

Secondly the hair is diff from sasuke's can someone please show both the leaders and sasuke's hair to illustrate that point!
Thirdly there are too many evidences that contradict him being the leader, such as itachi beating the shit out of him in the hotel (mutiny?) and sasuke being surprised that akatsuki were after naruto (memory loss?) hence why he went frantically chasing after naruto.
In addtion as deidarags mentioned the inconsistency in time would be another factor showing sasuke being far from the leader!!!!!!!

Logical thinking: The akatsuki leader is a charactor we don't know yet. Holy shit, its a conspiracy. =|
Just because they arn't letting us see him, and in the cave he wasn't really "there" doesn't mean he might be another charactor. Kishimoto is a smart man, and bets are he did that to make everyone panic and think of who it might be when really, simple possibility is. The boss just wasn't there, because he was occupied with something else.

That makes sence to me.

I have a question now though. I'm aware the exposer [sp!?] of Akatsuki, the full gorup anyways is relitively new, I'm wondering if anyone has some good sites with some information on the lesser known members and the gorup as a whole.

Hi, I'm owner of the Kakashi FC. I don't know if anyone had the idea before. I thought that because there are FC alliances, there should be enemy FCs as well. Of course I do not imply starting flame wars or anything. Just like for the alliances, it's only a list of enemy FCs in the first post, and of course members are still allowed to join both fanclubs. It's just for the sake of it :D

Ok in response to what u just said id like to make it clear that the 'other' members I was referring too were the likes of kisame itachi and sasori etc.

Concerning deidara (whom I like least of Akatsuki), within a few chapters defeated the kazekage etc but in what context did he accomplish this?
He is a good strategist I admit, but that’s nothing special considering what we’ve seen from other characters like shikamaru etc.
It is evident that deidara would have been beaten if garaa didn’t have to protect his village, he had factors working in his favour which he used you could say in a ‘cowardly manner.’
The situation just worked in his favour which lead to his accomplishment I don’t see how this makes him strong seeing as he used brains to deaft him rather than brawn.

In addition he said ‘what to do’ whilst running from kakashi and naruto, and he ran out of clay a weak point we have not seen as much in any member of akatsuki so far.

You say what has kisame done? well at 30% he handled the whole of team gai by himself.....but then i guess you'd call that nothing right :huh

In addition, itachi showed us what he was capable of against 3 jounins (which included kakashi) and post time skip naruto, chiyo, and kakshi (at 30%.)

Not forgetting sasori who is fighting the worst possible opponents, sakura and chiyo and has yet to even get a scratch on him (unlike deidara who’s hand was crushed with a few chapters), whilst he inflicted heavy damage on both of them.

The Deidara vs Gaara fight is HEAVILY dependant on Gaara's current status.

If it turns out that Gaara is dead, or has lost his powers permanently, then the fight was a way for Kishimoto to let Gaara have a final last great battle. I see no other reason for Kishimoto to have Deidara fight so evenly with Gaara otherwise.

I agree, but that´s why she´s so good. That #18 is quite a blast, I really doubt itachi/kisame could deal that much damage before getting caught, killed etc.. It´s Gaara, not garaa btw...

Yeah, but she hasn´t panicked yet. Just calmly stated a fact. With more clay, she could prolly whoop both of their asses. Sasori's weakness are puppets, without 'em, he´s useless. Then again, he has his über body so I dunno. Kisame is too aggressive for his own good, Itachi´s going blind. None of those seem to affect 'em much, though.

Zetsu or the big guy and his partner. Maybe they'll be the ones who go after Kabuto. But I seriously hope they don't disappoint. Right now, with all the hype around Sasori, it almost seems like he's the strongest and that everyone else's fights won't be able to match up, that they'll seem weaker. I really hope Kishimoto knows what he's doing with this current fight cuz if he suddenly realizes he left the others lacking... :mad


And on the Leader, I'm betting he's from the Cloud. Fits with the whole idea about "Dawn" and whatnot. :nod: And as I mentioned in a different thread, he should have a totally new taijutsu style linked with Lightning jutsus. :amuse
