i'm not sure if this is the right forum, but... does anybody know of any good video editing software?

this is what i'm running...

Windows 98
500 megahertz Intel Pentium III
128 MB RAM

dude upgrade BIG time!!! I'll say get a low version of premiere. something like 5.0 or less. omg, dude compares are so cheap now

nova video explosion is a good(noob) program or vegas... easy to use very basic =)

Nishi: Vdub's an avi formatting an' warping tool, not an editor. Is' an important part of the AMV process, but alone is' not gonna do you much.

pek: BIGGEST difference between Premiere 6.5 an' Premiere Pro is pro uses real time effects. As in, you add a fade or adjustment to the video, you'll see it on the screen as you edit. 6.5 you just have to play by ear until you render the video. The downside of that bein, it takes a lot more ram an' cpu to run than previous versions.
If y'wanna get technical, Pro also adds pretty much all the functionality of Adobe After Effects to the program wit improved controls for video motion an' masking as well as adding almost all the effects for AE to the package.

I alwasy wanted to know if anyone knew of a recomendation of an unpgrade program from Windows Movie Maker 2. A program that's just as easy and laid out but with more effects, etc.
