Anyone else see a similarity of the sanin and kakashi's team ?

Ok, havent read the manga and i don't remember them making this point in the anime, just going off a thought that me and a friend had...(so if this has been mentioned elsewhere i'm unaware)...

But it seems to me like the 3 sanin have a lot of similarities as naruto and the other 2... esp now that sakura is studing under Tsunade....

am i alone ?

Naruto is training under Jiraiya.
Sakura is training under Tsunade.
And Sasuke will probably go after Orochimaru because of that cursed seal.

I wounder how this'll turn out ^^

well and another point that i saw was the similarities in personalities... i can see naruto being a perverted hermit when he grows older, and sakura, well she already is a mini Tsunade... thou Susuke still has yet to get power hungry enough to match Orochimaru, but he is power hungry like him non the less...

Anyway, if you have the manga, then volume 1, chapter 4's title page seems to be a foreshadowing of some sort.

Well they don't show a lot of things in the series and manga. We just see the results of things and just draw conclusions. I think since this is a filler people are taking it apart more then they should or even would have if it was shown in the manga first.

There's a message on top of the screen in the A-H translation, that says something like
"Note: Sakura has been training under Tsunade blablabla" when she lifts the pole or somewhere there :)

it says "apparently(sp?) Sakura has been training under Tsunade" when she lifts the pole since it comes as a surprise and Tsuande is the only one we see with that type of strength in the series, so far. Basicly assuming is what you have to do here.

If you've just watched the anime only then there really isn't much of a problem since you would have assumed this anyway after seeing it. Since we have access to the manga, that is where the problem happens for some people. Don't see it so much as a problem in my eyes but then again that's just me.

I still think it's a little vague to assume that Sakura have been training with Tsunade. After all, Tsunade's been busy doing Hokage-stuff... And it says nothing of this in the ANBU-sub, so maybe it's just another miss from A-H.

I have to agree that Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura seem to be paralleling the Sannin. However, I think Anime-Heaven was just trying to be funny when they put that subtitle in for Sakura. There's nothing to support that Sakura is actually being trained by Tsunade. (The scene could have been added to the anime to foreshadow that some day she *might* follow in Tsunade's footsteps)

The note about training under Tsunade by the subber was joke on his part because the super strength thing came way outta left field. Tsunades strength isnt something that can be taught I dont think, shes strong same as her grandfather the 1st was. Though none the less, team7 does closely parallel the sannin, physical and personality wise.

Sakura is not training under Tsunande.. not yet at least anyway. she hasnt had time.
you may note however that there have been times where people have focused chakra into parts of their bodies in order to do something special. usually its a super strong jump, or fast move or something. i think that that is all she did.

the thing she says is the same think her inner sakura always says and basicly translates into "ALL RIGHT! DAMN IT!" or just some basic rally cry of hers. its not a majic word or something tsunande taught her.

to the best of anyones knowlage tsunandes strength is not some inheritance from the 1st. thats just something that people on the boards have cooked up mostly because the 3rd says something about the 1st still having all of his power. most people who thought it out simply feel that he is saying that the first has all of his power and skills as a hokage. I am sure if the 1st had some kind of tsunande like strength they would have mentioned it or it would have shown in the fighting against the 3rd. I mean.. any time Tsunande fights they make it VERY clear she is super strong.

as for the sannin reflection on team 7. ja. it seems pretty obvious but i dont think it will work out exactly the same.

The A-H translation was just made to be sarcasm.....It's like saying I guess "sakura was drinking her milk"......since tsunande is so strong they used her for the reference. If it wasn't tsunande and some one else that had crazy strength the would have said that too....it was just a joke....

there is definately a similarity. Oro and Sasuke are both hungry for power. Sakura will undergo training as a medical unit (Tsunade also underwent that) and Naruto...well they are both cocky :P They make a funny pair :)

havent there been hundreds of posts about this in the forums already?=.= anyway its true that the team resembles the legendary sannin in every aspect for example, sasuke is the same as orochimaru in the sense that he craves power and will do anything for it.Sakura is training in the medic unit just like tsunade and has super human strength( does this count?). And naruto resembles jiraiya in their ability to summon frogs and to be able to control rasengan as well as some funky attitudes :D

i mean, remember, it's not supposed to be EXACT, just similar, parallel roles. doesn't necessarily mean naruto wud be come a perverted hermit or sasuke would become a sexually ambiguous crackpot bent on the destruction of konoha - remember, jiraiya had no interest in being hokage, and tsunade ended up as it instead. i doubt tsunade ever liked orochimaru either... now that's a scary thought... <<shudder>> o.O
