I've seen a Sora vs. Cloud and a Link vs. Cloud thread. Search engine says there is no Sora vs. Link thread.
So who takes this?

Sora takes this in a massive curbstomp. He was cutting through scyscrapers at the end of the game. He also has the almighty triangle button.

I keep on hearing about Sora cutting through buildings. Isn't it just a small platform or something? Is there a video of it?
EDIT: I think I found it on youtube. Those were not skyscrapers :P

He's also been dodging lasers+ deflecting them, as well as slicing buildings(as someone mentioned) near the end of the game.

The player used AR max to use Final Form against Sephiroth, but the Final Form battling is real.
Not to mention Sora has the Peter Pan summon on his side that can give him constant healing, or he could summon Genie(Aladdin) whose power could debatably erase Link from existence.
This isn't 'which game do you prefer?'
This is who would win. Sora would win, Sora has drives, reaction commands.. How can Link stand up to such speed and skill. Don't get me wrong, I love link and the Zelda games, but still.. Sora would win.

Sora cuts through sky scrapers,I'm sorry but thats just too crazy.Throw in the fact that his final form also grants him godly speed,and I just don't see how Link takes this.

This is one of the most unfair fights I have ever seen in OB. Sora massacres Link. It's like having Superman fight a toddler. Sora is a super human while Link is nothing more than peak human.
Even without forms Sora has super strength, agility, speed, durability and not to mention vast magics at his command. Link has low tech Batman syndrome.
Anybody who claims Link could have a chance in hell of winning this is either a Zelda fanboy or never played Kingdom Hearts.

Oh and before anybody claims Link to be a better swordsman than Sora bare in mind in KH2 Sora was stated to be a master swordsman.

Link doesn't have durability, his armour has durability. That's like claiming I have super human durability because i can wear some platemail.
Link in TP hasn't shown super strength, in the previous games Link gained super strength via magical equipment of his. However that equipment didn't increase the power of his physical strikes, it was all about lifting power which implies he only put the equipment on specifically when he had to lift stuff. Sora on the other hand hit a Skyscraper with his keyblade like it was a baseball.

Again I think I saw the video, it was hardly a skyscraper. Link in TP, has shown to have a good deal of strength, such as picking up and throwing the gorons up without any special liftting aid. And Link's durability comes from the heart containers he collect, which increases his life, not the armour he wears.
Still TP can't take Sora,

It was a skyscraper, it was clearly a skyscraper.
In regards to his durability. You are taking a gameplay mechanic. We don't really have any storying instances that I can think of to really portray Links durability level. Sora on the other hand we have at least 2 instances I can think of where he portrayed super human durability. Then we have other instances where other beings at Sora's level and not too far beyond Sora portrayed super human durability in fact durability far beyond anything Link has ever shown even from a gameplay mechanic.

Yes. He didn't start off as one but has become one. Some attribute it to the Keyblade but if you ask me it is due to the strength of the light in his heart.
Here is a video of the end boss fight for KH2, it shows a number of things Sora is capable of even without his drive forms. You see a degree of levitation, super speed and durability.

Well, to be fair, Cloud wasn't really given his materia or anything on the occasions that Sora fought him. But if we throw Genie into the equation, then I suppose that that wouldn't really have mattered much.

Sora killed a Genie solo in KH2. Again, Cloud has nothing on him. Hell Cloud needs materia to cast magic, Sora not so much.
To clear something up as well, Link could not beat Cloud either. You'd need to be a serious Zelda fanboy to think that.

Actually, he would at least stand a chance against FF VII Cloud. Of course AC Cloud and even more so KH Cloud would murder him.

Before I left, I strongly remember a Link vs Cloud thread in the OBD. It should pop up if you search for it and the victor was inconclusive.

That really doesn't mean much though. Link from WindWaker was also given the title as a "Master Swordsman" It's better to just look at the abilites they have with the sword. It's hard to judge with Link. Most of the Zelda games have a differnet Link in them, and not all of them have the same sword abilites.

So with the Sephiroth fight, Seph starts out with that one technique where IIRC I've heard it was like 10-20 hits total and using triangle hes fast enough to actually block all the strikes even though they're very rapid.

The game disagree's with you as does Nomura. In the first game Nomura said that Sora was still a novice with a sword however in KH2 he is that no longer which is why his swings and such were much more fluid than they were in KH. Also in Mulan's world he is flat out stated to be a master swordsman. Sora is just that damned good.
Oh and ya, his fight against Sephy does do a decent job of showing his speed however I think the 1,000 laser scene in the end boss fight does a better job of it, so does the fight against Xigbar where we see that Sora is so fast that he appears to teleport. I of course assume he was that fast and not actually teleporting because earlier than the Xigbar fight he needed to grab onto a Nobody who can teleport to teleport.

That speed feat was most impressive, since he was at base form. I didn't post the laser scene because I didn't think people would watch the Xemnas fight to that point in the end :/
They should get a generalization of Sora's speed by now.

Maybe refined wasn't really the right word for it. But what I meant was that most of his attacks are just really showy with alot of useless movement involved, where a single simple strike could take care of the job, and though its probably just the way the game is, thats how I see it. Not saying its not effective and hes not a good swordsman, its just hes not very refined. Sorta Like Mugen from Samurai Champloo actually.

Well you can't really blame him for that. They do that so it looks cool not for functionality. Just assume due to what is said that he is a very efficient and skilled swordsman even if visually it doesn't appear to be. After all he is supposed to be a master swordsman. It's flashy simply for visual appeal of the gamer.

I can't wait for SSBB to come out. Which reminds me of that move Link performs on Mario in one of the trailers. Seems almost like Cloud's Omnislash.

Depends on the situtation. I mean, OoT Link with the Golden Gauntlets is definately physically stronger than Sora, IMO, seeing the size of the things he threw with them. However, they don't seem to affect how stong his punches are or anything. So, as said, it just depneds on the situation.

Was this really Sora's strength that was cutting through those buildings? Or was it the power of the keysword that made it so easy for him?

I'm not talking about when he was cutting through buildings. Later in the fight he actually hits buildings which launches them towards a shield Xemnas has up.
Also in regards to the cutting of the buildings, there is nothing to suggest that it was because of the Keyblade itself. Also the part where he hit buildings (not cut them) into the shield heavily suggests he has quite a level of super strength which would further suggest that he cut the buildings through the fact that he himself is quite strong. Sure a lesser blade probably couldn't do it but that hardly means the keyblade was totally responsible for the feat.
