1.) Probably the Ring. Sauron was demi-god status in his prime. A head and shoulders above most anyone else, and a few meters short of Melkor himself. I guess Soul Edge users have potentionally unlimited power, but the fact the sword sucks the life out of you if you do it provide it with souls and lots of them doesn't give users much of a chance to gain power over a prolonged period of time.
2.) The trick with the lot of them is that most people are ignorant of their existences. A Soul Edge user is usually called The Azure Knight or "THAT FUCKING PIRATE!", not the wielder of Soul Edge. I guess the Ring became pretty famous, but even way back when it's hard to say if the armies massed really understood more then that they were fighting orcs and lots of them.
3.) Personal stamina determines how fast the Ring corrupts you. I think. Soul Edge possesses those that it takes over, but takes some time to settle in, but So'unga possessed Inuyasha the moment he picked it up. So'unga gets tired after extensive use, while Soul Edge kills the user if it doesn't have Souls provided...
I really don't know.
4.) The Ring corrupted Boromoir, Gollum, Aragon's ancestor, Frodo, and Bilbo. Not a big list of victims, but it spent most of it's existence on a river bed and then under a mountain. Soul Edge and So'unga probably had many more weilders then the Ring, with both of them possessing someone and causing killing sprees. It's impossible to say for sure, but I think Soul Edge is older then So'unga as a matter of canon.
If we're talking square miles and terrortories, probably the Ring. So'unga may have been able to plunge the whole world into Hell, but it didn't get very far before getting owned.
5.) The Ring. Soul Edge has alot of goodie-two-shoes chasing after it, but few people hardly know what it really is. Same with So'unga. The Ring on the other hand potentionally has all the forces of Evil after it, along with a few ignorants or those who should know better.
6.) I'd say Inu-papa wins.

Never include anything from Beserk. Beserk is a nigh omni-potent series. It is not fun to compare it to other series. Never, ever, EVER, use it.
