I have been experimenting with Blending modes in photoshop a bit, and usually I just use trial and error to find one which will go good. But can anyone give me a little brief description on what they do exactly? I mean its alright for me to just keep trying until I find a suitable one but I would prefer to know what they will do beforehand.
Thanks.

Well a thorough explanation would take alot of time, cause they react differently in each situation. I think it's better for you that you keep at it, trying to test the different modes in whatever art you're doing:)

Simple. They pretty much do what they say there going to do. Hard light = Hard light Soft Light = Soft light......

Yeah but I don't really get things like Burn and Dodge etc. Ahh well thanks for the help anyways, you can lock this up now if you want.
