Thralls VS Cairne Bloodhoof

For all Warcraft lll as well as WoW players, who would win between the 2 major boss of the Horde?

Assuming one day either Thrall or Cairne fell to the Legion's corruption, and sought to kill the other in a 1-v-1 fight in an arena.

Thrall
Leader of the Horde

Said to be "Mightest orc alive"

Wields the weapon and armour of the mighty Ogrim Doomhammer

Since young was trained as a Gladiator, also trained in combat and tactics by an Alliance Sergeant. After his freedom, he was then trained by Drek' Thar in Shamenism and fighting by Ogrim Doomhammer

Thrall is a powerful shamen capable of emitting Chain Lighting blasts which could even hurt Archimonde. He could also summon spiritual wolves as allies or even create earthquakes.

Cairne Bloodhoof
Leader of the Bloodhoof Taurens

Said to be "One of the most dangerous mortals alive"

Wields a mighty axe capable of hewing trees in its wake during Warcraft lll, and switched to a log totem in WoW.

Cairne is a powerful warrior and also a spiritual shaman(like Thrall).

He is 103 years old, and decades of leading his people and fighting the Centaur have left Cairne with great wisdom as well as brilliant strategic prowess.

Cairne is physically formidable as well, and could uproot a great tree with only his bare hands.

Cairine is a mighty Warrior-Shamen who could create devastating shockwaves with the force of his axe, stomp craters into the ground and stunning and damaging all nearby foes and could also revive.



For this matchup, please take into details stats of both WC3 and WoW.

Thrall always seemed stronger imo.

Simply put, Thrall. Why? Because he has more offense power and besides, according to the alliance on my realm (until I quit) he was much harder to take down than Cairne, and that's not counting guards

In War3 Cairne would outright murder every other hero in the game at the same lvl.

In WoW (which i'm still new too) i dont know.

Whoever falls to the corruption of the Legion loses. Why? Because people who join the Burning Legion can't be Shamans, the spirits don't accept them anymore.

Neither would fall to the corruption of the Legion. They would sooner die than allow that to happen to themselves.

Since I play almost exclusively Tauren when I play WoW I am forced to say Cairne wins this. I may be biased though :p

The tactic for him to win:

Cairne calls upon every level 68+ Tauren Feral Druid and has them all Rawrbomb Thrall. There is no greater attack than the dreaded Druid Rawrbomb, even the Dynamic Entry is humbled before it!

Double life is nice but he still doesn't attack as fast as a agi hero nor will his spells work on avatar

However in WC3, it's safe to assume Cairne can defeat Thrall.

Thrall never seemed that strong imo, more of a great leader. His mightest attack was shrugged aside by Mannoroth with ease, and he was taken out with a single blow.

Grom Hellscream on the other hand was a mighty warrior.

Now the Troll boss in Thrall's chamber...that is a hard boss to kill, he supposedly can cast AoE Hex....which is insane

I'd say Thrall but it's so close...it's a toss-up.

To look at it a little differently, Cairne reminds me of Sarutobi -- old but strong...caring and wise. They are both past their prime though. Thrall's a younger, strong leader. Literally stronger...I dunno :P
