Hello
i'm from Inane and i'd like to restart this topic that died along with narutotalk sometime ago

If you want to see the page you colored on the next naruto release you can send it via mail to fl4shi@gmail.com

If you want to color a page from an old chapter ( before v20 ) you can use these raw, the image quality is usualy better than the old scanlated chapter :

XpLo, Anginess and Morrigan... Love your works...

Anginess's shikamaru/temari is my favorite. It is a well balanced work... some of the others over do the effects and then your focus is on one wierd point of the page.

Morrigan's Gaara, ive never seen till now and that is perfect... damn. Awesome shading on the gourd.

XpLo's Gaara with the sun was great and not overdone. Shading and all, perfect.

Where do i get raws... i wanna try my coloring style at getting into a future issue as an extra. Any info?

fenixhacka, I like the painterly effect you used on your Gaara. It's different from the approach most people take when colouring, making it as realistic as possible or making it cartoonish. I also really like the background. Looks like smoke or satin or something smooth like that... :smile-big

this is cool, simple but very effective. I like. some of the colors dont blend well in some small areas but overall. good.

We use your art ? if u look closely the only ppl who get their name credited on our release are the colorers, do u see any credit for the translator/scanner editors ? nop. So yes it sounds rude :/

We ll want to stop u downloading our release when we ll keep our release for a certain group of ppl (our staff/ppl trusted) or when we ll stop scanlating naruto then we wont ask for color anymore, be sure of it :(

-it also sucks that I totally didn't realize Naruto had a backpack on when I colored this picture! heh I was in such a hurry to clean it so I could color it I guess I deleted the bag! I keep using different fonts because some of the colors I've done lately were done at school

Thanks angieness, I'll keep on coloring. btw that naruto looked cool ! I didn't even notice the missing bag :P The little shiney strokes on his face really bring out the structure ! And the eyes have lots of sparks in them, looks absolutely awesome

Your first coloring is way better than the second one IMO. xD It just needed more shading, the colors are good. =D

That Chiyo I colored is my second coloring as well, we're both noobs. =]

the lens thing is okay and it suits as a sun,, but you should have chosen the one with blue glow around. then it would suit more,, but the rest is really nice ^__^

There is no page 21 in chapter 138 and no page that looks remotely like that one in chapter 138.. so unless i'm missing a page in my scanlation, I can't find the matching page in black and white. :sad

I checked it in my saved scanlations and couldn't find it either. Whoever scanlated that chapter forgot to put that page in. I found the raw on Xplo's raw site (http://xploroxor.free.fr/Naruto-raw/). It is page 67 of chapter 138, volume 16.

Xplo: Do you happen to know at what chapter Inane started scanlating Naruto? I've noticed that my scans (downloaded from NF) has a gap between when Toriyama's World's stopped scanlating to when NF started using Inane's scans. Most of the chapters inbetween are very, very badly scanlated. I would like to, if possible, find better scanlations of these chapters and if Inane still has them somewhere on IRC, that'd be absolutely great.

well i just read they wouldnt stick any thread in naruto translation about inane, so too bad for the colorers... it s not a promotion, it s helping the colorer by puting their colors into new naruto chapter so lot of ppl can se their color ^^
