Can Luffy defeat the Greek legend?

Myth Heracles's weapons are- bow and arrow, a club made from an olive tree (which he pulled out of the ground himself) and bronze sword and the hide of the Nemean Lion worn as armor.

Hercules should win because well, he is herc and that he has tackled several monsters which would make the seacreatures from OP look like babies.

Besides, herc has an impenetrable armor aka nemean lion on him.
just read his 12 trials which he has to overcome and you will know why herc wins this 10/10.

and most important of them all, he has the gods on his side.

Herakles is actually a demi god and yeah. The armor of the nemean lion is impenetrable except with the lion's own claws.

-The Nemean Lion's hide is impenetrable to all weapons except the lion's claws itself, so it's like the opposite of Luffy's rubber. However, Heracles beat the lion by either wrestling it to death or impaling it with its own claws, depending on which version you read. So while Luffy wouldn't be able to puncture it, he could still cause blunt force trauma against Heracles.

-Heracles' arrows are tipped in Hydra's blood, so if Luffy gets hit by one he dies.

Strength Feats:

-Heracles splits a mountain in two with his mace/club to create the Strait of Gibraltar and Monte Hacho. I don't think Luffy has done anything comparable.

Also, let's not forget that Heracles was immortal. He tried killing himself with a funeral pyre and simply ascended to Mt. Olympus instead.

IIRC, Heracles held the world itself in Atlas' stead. Not even Luffy could take that strength.

Of course, if Luffy vowed to his nakama that he would kill Heracles, then Herc is dead. :P

Umm actually he wasn't immortal. He was dying from the blood of the hydra and used the funeral pyre to burn away his mortal body. Zeus took him to Olympia
