Link vs Samurai Jack

Both Link and Samurai Jack are good with a sword among other weapons as well but in a fight who would come out on top?

It's a one-on-one fight. No interferences and they get all of their equipment... Except for the giant Jack mecha I keep hearing about... Seriously this is a man to man fight no freakin' giant mecha's.

Have people even played all the Zelda games to know all of Link's equipment? Link uses his magic cape and becomes invisible and intangible, so all Jack's sword strikes will pass right through him, and cause no harm.

So they fight some more,Links hurt and out of mana. Boom a blue potion. Even if jack manages to kill Link he gets two free continues.

Considering the fact that each Link is a totally seperate being you cannot very well give Link all that equipment in a single Link. TP Link for instance doesn't have access to the Fierce Deity Mask or LttP's magic rods.

Pick a Link and do the fight that way. Of course that way the only Link who could win is OoT/MM Link as he would get his OoT and MM items as he is one and the same Link.

You seem to think Jack will just let this all happen. Jack is rather super powered you know. Link on average is around peak human physically.

First of all in regards to Link from 1 and 2. I don't recall a move that turns his opponents into jelly. But it has been ages since I played the game so I could be wrong. However if he does have such a movie I assume it doesn't work on boss level opponents which is what Jack most certainly is so it won't work.

Second, Four Swords Link and his splitting into 4 is nothing. Jack has routinely without much effort obliterated armys of robots. 4 Links isn't going to be a problem even if they are being revived every time he kills them for 120+ times.

In regards to LttP Link jellying his opponents, again I don't recall this. Also Link's Awakening wasn't real, it was all a dream so he isn't exactly canon is he?

In Wind Waker does this barrier last forever? Nope.

I always hated the idea of a ability not working because it doesn't effect bosses as it does normal enemies. So Link's Thunder Spell from Zelda II which IMO is one of Link's strongest Spells in the series won't work on Jack since it doesn't work on bosses, but a weak wooden arrow would? It doesn't make any sense.

No, Thunder wasn't instant death, just a really strong spell, that killed all but the strongest of enemies instantly. And Spell Spell from Zelda II was the one that transformed enemies into blobs.

Still, I don't think Jack can resist being turned into a blob by Spell Spell. He isn't fighting Link in Link's game, so I don't see how him being as powerful as a boss gives him that immunity. If he was facing Link in his game, that would make a lot more sense.

:lmao come to think if it, that's kinda true. It's hard to gauge though since besides the non canon smash brothers, we don't really get to see links agility and whatnot. The game's just not based on jumping while we see samurai jack jump all over the place since he's in a cartoon

Jack just got one good hit in and Aku figured out how dangerous the sword was so he sent Jack to the future. Aku doesn't really seem to be beaten considering he's pwned Jack constantly every time Jack finally thinks he can return to the past.

He might be a better swordsman, but they both have all their equipment. Also the Master Sword might not have any added effect on Jack, but Jack's sword won't even be able to scratch Link. His sword won't cut anything that is good and pure of heart, so I'm guessing Link would be immune to his attacks.

Jacks sword seemed to cut robots (who are devoid of good or evil) and the Scotsman(who was a nice guy) up pretty well. On that evidence, I say it can hurt Link, or if not that, still knock him the fuck out as a sword smashing into you still hurts real bad.

Sure the Scotsman was a nice guy, but was he ready to face Jack on bridge the first time they meant, so I doubt he is "pure in heart". Still, this is Link with all his items. Because of that, Jack can't even touch him with his sword. If it was a sword only duel, Jack could take it easily.

That's only ONE version of Link and he couldn't do it forever, mind you. On top of that while you could magically put stuff on instantly in the game, odds are Jack would cut Link down before he could use most of his fancy equipment because somebody didn't pause the game, select whatever item you want him to use, then unpause with it already set to go. That, and I think Jack has cut incorporeal things with his sword, it being magic and all.

Seriously, Link does not have all of his incarnations equipment for you to pick and choose which for him to use. Pick a game you want his stuff to come from and then we'll talk.

Its great, its essentially a samurai shaped gundam, and though I cant remember exactly what it uses, I do remember it using multiple weapons and being able to cause mass amounts of destruction.

Jack out ranks him using most any weapon, he's been trained in just about everything IIRC. Though when I meant outclassed I was more talking about in strength, speed, agility and things of that manner.

Yea but what else has Jack used? I remember him training/fighting with a couple other weapons but nothing that'd come even close to matching Links bag-o-magic-shit.
