Anyone here familiar with the installation of Magic Keys II into a slim PS2?
I've tried installing the 3 pieces that came with my swap magic disc on a 77001 series ps2, but the large piece that fits in the back by the flip top's springs doesn't seem to be fitting correctly.
http://www.modchip.com/ps2/magickeys38order.php Shows 2 different kinds of magic keys. I have the one on the left, with the thin, long flange that goes into the console. The part does not install the way it seems it should. I do not have a piece similar to the one of in the right side set of parts, though it would seem like it would fit. :(
When the swap magic disc runs I get a screen to select a mode (normal, cheat, etc). From the normal menu, I can choose a view mode (PAL, NTSC, default) but after that the ps2 just reloads the disc/memory card screen. No mention of switching discs appears.
Any help with this would be most appreciated. All I want to do it play NH3.
