View Full Version : Unbelievably easy way to make really cool looking backgrounds for sigs

I was searching for a way to make a light colored "girly" background for my latest please teacher sig. It had to be very light colored and look good in pinks and purples. I was searching all over the internet until I found some incredibly easy tutorials to get some amazing results for backgrounds. These tutorials are fairly easy to follow if you already have the basics of photoshop down. You can get a very light background, a very dark background and everything in between.
here is a result I got in literally under 5 minutes of tinkering:

I have three different colors going on at once which is something I had no idea how to do before and there is room for pretty much an infinite amount of colors (that would look really dumb though).

That explains how to add color blending.
@ blackvoice. You just mess with the sliders till it looks vibrant. You might also want to take a look at the thread I posted for Sasukhan.

Probably not, but you can still "adapt" to the tutorials if you're comfortable with your version.

The purple block is your primary color (the one your brushing with) and the white one is your secondary. You can switch color by pressing X.
