Hmm not sure I'm fond of the idea that there's loads of Vizards. If it were true then where have they all gone. Vizard are too powerful to be wiped out like the Quincy were and I'd think a shinigami would know best how to avoid detection by other shinigami.

From the screens it seems Hiyori was adapted well, and now I read her seiyuu seems well picked... my heart is at peace. But if they spoil the next big event, I'm going apeshit.

I liked the episode. The art didn't strike me as particularly bad either. Are we getting spoiled in terms of quality? Do we expect too much? I don't know. :/

Either way, looking forward to next week. It's almost certain that Vegeta will get a good voice but I hope they don't screw up Nappa.

They were too good in the firts arc so they gave us high hopes. As far as I can tell the art is pretty much standard manga to anime transition level except in some ultra crappy parts. Anyway after reading pure manga for months you get a bit spoiled because the manga never has crappy art. When I compare the SS arc to the manga it pales in comparison as well.

Yeah that's the main problem of changing teams and artists.

A manga artist keeps his style, animation teams only in borders. If they change, big differences can happen.

But how some of those made it through quality assurance, I wonder.

Even if they were, the amount of effort put into the episodes is different. You know, more frames and more detailed animation make it more fluid, but the effort taken to achieve that is huge. Costs money, you know.

I didn't think this episode's animation was too bad. Better than the previous two, at least. If the fight sequences look good, then I'll be happy. Also, I love Hiyori's voice. Just the way I imagined it.

So far, things are looking good. They appear to be going at a slower pace now (two chapters per episode), but judging by the upcoming episode titles, I'm guessing we'll be covering six chapters over the next two episodes. Why do they always seem to blaze through all the good material? :huh

Animation was around the same as 110 overall. Art was fine and mostly "accurate" but the actual movement was just sloppy.

I'm kind of surprised they only went through 2 chapters though, why make it so they have to blaze through 6 chapters for the next 2 episodes (going by 114's title)? They could've extended the fight instead, that would've been cool really.

The artwork still seems mediocre to me, almost borderline crappy. Look at Orihime, she looks weird.

And the animation, well honestly I can't really judge it because most scenes in this episode are comedy but the way Hirako ran on air while carrying Hiyori looked funny.

Well, that's because the one in the anime lacks contrast and shadow. Hence anime Vegeta looked more pale. Plus without shadow and contrast, there isn't a sense of 3Dness in it. It looks like a sketch from the Shinigami Golden Cup. Hence why I said I'm not having much faith in next week's artwork.

Thsi episodes wasn't all that bad. We got to see more Hirako and the animation, although it isn't great yet, it was okay. Better than the other two episodes.

The "Nappa" shot feels wrong I think because he has his mouth closed. Nappa generally sports a huge grin in most manga panels and in others his mouth is slightly open at least, it's never really totally closed like that unless it's a zoomed out shot. I think the shot in the preview is 191 page 12.

All I'm curious about now is how censored the next episode is going to be, in regards to 2 violent scenes.

Ya know, you can't ever make Nappa good looking ... IMO ... he's ugly no matter what.

Vegeta ... well it's daylight, and I don't think his complexion looks good in full daylight. It'll look better at night time.

And yeah the holes will not be round round, because it cuts right into chest muscles and ab muscles. And because of the musles your body isn't flat, so the hole in perspective will not look perfectly round.
