Dunno if this has done before... but here goes!

Rules:

1. Both swordsmen can only use their skills / techniques / jutsus. However, Cloud cannot use his Limit Breaks immeadiately.

2. No external help is allowed, ie. no aid via summonings, other allies, other objects (such as materia) other than their swords.

3. Kisame is as he is after timeskip, only at full power (not Shouten-jutsu Kisame). Cloud is as he is during Advent Children.

4. Cloud is cured of both depression and Geostigma.

Both have giant swords, both are fast, both are powerful.

OK... that's just about it... go!

I'd say Kisame because I hate Cloud's guts with a passion, but Knights of round or omnislash would render the entire naruto verse crippled.

The cheapness takes this.

It's kinda cheap robbing Cloud of his materia and insta-breaks from AC. In a pure sword battle I think Kisame would be taken apart with relative ease. However if Cloud has no materia or instant limits then Kisame could just overwhelm him with his insane Jutsu. Cloud can't walk on water, so creating a lake would win it for Kisame.

Well depending on where they fight, Cloud could always use his insane building jumping abilities and get to higher ground. I'll say Cloud, even though he is somewhat handicapped.

Cloud can win no problem. Water really won't matter to Cloud when he shoots a big fucking energy wave from his sword. He doesn't even need to do that, in all honesty. Watch his fight with Sephiroth, then you tell me Kisame can hang with that.
