Just look at a picture of him and draw what you see. It's not too difficult.

Actually, I believe for some people it's hard to look at a picture and draw it. =P That's the way I am. When I attempt drawing pictures I see it turns out all yucky. I know people that are the other way. Can look at pictures and draw them exactly the same, and yet they can't draw on their own.

you must not be thinking. why would you need a tutorial on how to draw naruto? i can understand if kishimoto himself had a tutorial and that it was available, but to expect something like this to be on the net and by someone else's style, it's kinda weird. i say you should watch the anime and read the manga. if you know how to draw good already, then it shouldn't be that hard to draw naruto like the rest of the fellow artists in here are doing.

If it's so easy to just look at a picture/thing/whatever and draw it then why are there tutorials? Some people have issues with that.

we are talking about naruto! not how to draw [basics], how to color, how to use a program, or etc! its a simple to do when drawing a character. if you don't know how to draw naruto [in your own style. whether crappy or excellent], then you need to find a tutorial on how to draw [from the start].

Well, I believe Sasukhan was looking for a tutorial to draw Naruto Kishi's style, or very similar, not how to draw in her/his own style. Reading tuts helps most people learn or improve their own style. And there are many tuts for complex drawings and such, not just the basics.

I can't draw anything. Coloring seems considerably easier to me (especially using photoshop) than any ammount of straight drawing does. I have no doubt in my mind that if I were to attempt to draw naruto it'd look like ass (much like all my other drawings over the years look.) However, I feel I did a fairly decent job on my first time coloring... and in all honesty, a good "draw naruto" tutorial would cover most of the really basic things in drawing, most people have an easier time sticking to drawing things that INTEREST them. I've never been able to finish most basic drawing tutorials because I get sick of drawing apples and blocks.

Do it like I do it - the way Kishimoto does. Trace a picture every now and then to learn the lines and develop some tricks to getting a nice likeness of naruto. I started drawing awesome pictures of naruto shortly after and have never looked back since. I'll post up some pics as soon as I get back to Aus, guess where I am :D

Yes indeedy! I saw episode 120 on TV, it is so weird seeing it so crystal smooth and crisp animation on a huge resolution when you are used to slightly pixellated and slighty edgy motion. I got shitloads of figurines, books, mangas, and a LOT of naruto playing cards. I got a gold Kyuubi card, WHEE! (as well as many others.)
I also got the official Naruto art book, there is some amazing stuff. But the posters I got absolutely rock my ass. Naruto merchandise isn't absolutely everywhere like I hoped, I didnt find the naruto box set dvd nor the 7 inch action figurines that I wanted so badly.

That's a good idea. I have an issue with the shape of the face because when I was little I always drew animals. Never humans. Now I have many, many issues.

heh don't think you'd want a naruto box set from japan, 2-3episodes on 1 dvd and that 1 dvd cost $40.00+ USD, unless you rich of corse and want to spend $1600.00USD or more :P maybe im wrong, maybe that counting import to america and everything
as for naruto being easy to draw, most people want to be able to do it exactly like kishi, every sqiggly line, every crosshash, maybe even down to the screentoneing
