It sounds like something Itachi could do with Tsukuyomi (against a starving Galactus of course, like the one Strange did beat).

Galactus > Narutoverse. Don't believe me check your facts, Silver Surfer(Galactus' Herald) can absorb Supernovas. The closest speculation is Itachi's Amaterasu, the jet-black flames are said to be hotter than the sun. Which doesn't exclude the possibility it was meant as a metaphor. However given the benefit of the doubt, Itachi can do this maby at most twice. Silver Surfer can survive flying thru stars without ANY damage. So Itachi at his best can't even harm one of Galactus' Heralds. So there is no debate unless you can't understand the fact that the 9 Tails killed supposedly the most powerful character in the series and the 9 Tails would get curb stomped by any one of Galactus' Heralds.

But we are talking about Tsukuyomi. A high level mindrape technique, and Galactus fell to a similar thing.
Tsukuyomi seems like a well suited technique to beat Galactus, it all depends if Tsukuyomi is on the same level as Strange's spells.

The problem is that Tsukiyomi has been used twice in Naruto -- one to torture Kakashi, and one to mentally torture Sasuke.

Kakashi was pretty standard -- continuous stabbing. Stabbing Galactus wouldn't do much -- that is, if the sword can get through his armour. Not to mention, you'd be poking a cosmic being who's not only a physical creature, but also literal Power Cosmic.

Sasuke is mental torture. However, this is most likely due to Itachi's knowledge of Sasuke's past, himself being key to it. What would Itachi know of Galactus, who's been around since the previous universe? Since when is Tsukiyomi telepathy? It's at best the most powerful Genjutsu of the Narutoverse -- something that's mid to high caliber with regards to the Marvel telepaths.
