Alas, I've also given out too much reputation for today XD I can't help it if people are just so durn nice that I have to rep a lot in a short amount of time! :amuse

It's been almost a month since I started this thread, and it's my biggest and most fun one so far! :laugh It's grown so much so quickly, all because of everyone who has suggested, uploaded, commented, and just contributed to this thread in general. Thanks so much to everyone! You guys are what made this the awesome 5-star thread it's become! (I feel like a proud mother! :cry)

Well, I'll stay busy for quite a while now, just wanted to let you people know I'm still alive. :wink

Oh yeah, and I'd also like to thank everyone for the huge work you've done here. I didn't download much else than the collection file, but I just think it's wonderful we managed to get such a huge amount of songs in such a small amount of time! *hugs everyone*

On a side note: Yesterday, I got a German Naruto manga as a present. It was the one in which Tsunade came back to Konoha - and I realised Aoba was in there.
Just checked the credits of the respective episode, but no... couldn't find him. :(

Sariachan: Those Chouji songs are a loooot better suited to Renji from Bleach...if you know Renji, you know what I mean. I had trouble believing that they were both played by the same seiyuu, they're both such different characters! :laugh Glad you enjoyed Genma's! I can't remember when or why I became a Shikamaru fan...xD;;;;; Which is really sad cause I really don't think it was all that long ago. :oh I think it might have had something to do with episode 64...
But somehow, he definitely captured my heart...xD

As for the first part of your post (even though it wasn't directed at me. xD), I had trouble believing Renji and Chouji were done by the same seiyuu also. xDD I mean...they're completely different characters...they sound completely different...

I have this weird little tradition that whenever there's a Naruto marathon or I watch multiple episodes of Naruto at a time (like a DVD set or something) I always have ramen. xDD It's one of my favorite foods...even before I liked Naruto, I absolutely loved it. xD

Yup, yup. =3 I'm keeping my eye on Jpopsuki just in case anything gets uploaded there...though anime singles (like image songs or soundtracks) aren't allowed, so pretty much what I've found is just Mizuki Nana singles and stuff...

Not much addition here, but I found another Takeuchi Junko (Naruto) song from the anime "Onegai My Melody", and I've just got to say that it's VERY much worth listening to. OMG, I usually don't have any problem recognizing a seiyuu's voice no matter how they change it around, but I swear I couldn't tell at all that this was Naruto's seiyuu if the description didn't say so. I guess I just got too used to listening to Jun-chan's boyish/kiddish voice for her songs, and now that she's actually singing as a real female...well, it's just amazing. It even sounds different from her normal speaking voice too, jeez. :love

For those making fun of Naruto's seiyuu after just listening to her Neko song, here you go and eat your hearts out! :P

Phew! It took some maaajor shuffling, but I managed to fit everything. You wouldn't believe what I had to do O__O For example, you know when you hyperlink something, it takes this form: [url="blabla"]website here[/ url] ? Well, I went through the entire first page and deleted every single quotation mark because they count as characters >__< And I used to use 2 asterisks for Knight's contributions, but I went through every song and had to make it just 1. Sorry Knight, you haven't been demoted...it's all for space (and my sanity!). You're still awesome. :glomp

What else...oh! I moved all the duets as well as some seiyuu off the front page for space too. Is that confusing? Do you guys think I should link to a post that has a list of where everything is (i.e. which seiyuu are on what page), or do you think everyone can figure it out? Since we update pretty frequently, people might lose track of what they have and haven't downloaded, so I thought I'd keep a checklist of what's where for bookkeeping. As for the time thing, go into your preferences, and under the "website" tab, there's an option to change the timezone.

It usually updates...well, sometimes it can take a bit, but it usually updates pretty often.
If you hit F5 (which I think is actually different than a normal refresh) then you can force it to update.

I'm not sure if you people are aware, because nobody mentioned it anywhere – but "Twins" is not only Kanna Nobutoshi singing here. I have to admit, they sound so much alike that even I as a huge fan of the other artist have trouble telling them apart sometimes, but - there's Morikubo Shoutarou in it as well. ^^ (Makes sense, really, if the song is called Twins… XD)

I also checked my version of that song (which I didn't get from here) and it's also labelled Bokutachi ni arumono - I also checked a couple of sites and they say the same thing. Though I'm not sure if that's true (since you mentioned you saw a 'no' character 'somewhere in the middle(my guess?)') until I see the original kanji/kana title.

Can you post the kanji/kana title of that song, Jolly-chan? Even if I can't translate it to make sure, I'm really sure shadowy_blue can. :)

The Ursula's Revenge song is from the Kingdom Hearts 2 soundtrack (I'm assuming it is, at least), and the composer of that is Yoko Shimomura, if I remember correctly. I just visited Konoha TV and lemme tell ya, I'm not going back in there!!! The temptation was so great, I had to peace on outta there right quick! My brother said he's going to watch them, but I really want to wait for the sub to watch and hear on the big screen. But I'm really glad to hear that they were awesome. I knew they would be! How awesome are we for owning the nobodyknows+ and HMKU FCs? :haha

But I'm a bit confused...do the RAWs typically come out this early? And if they came out earlier than usual, do you think the subs will be done early? I doubt that actually, since it's a double episode with a new OP & ED, which are rap and thus going to be hard to hear/translate the lyrics for!

The Ursula's Revenge song is from the Kingdom Hearts 2 soundtrack (I'm assuming it is, at least), and the composer of that is Yoko Shimomura, if I remember correctly. For the record, Kujira isn't credited anywhere in the booklet for the KH2 soundtrack. Unless it's somewhere in the Japanese text, but I think that's just a note from Yoko Shimomura, so...
The only person credited for doing vocals in the soundtrack is Utada Hikaru, who does the opening/ending song. (whee, I love Hikki's music. <333)

EDIT: I just listened to it, and wow. xD That's so Orochimaru.

Are you guys entirely sure that "Ai Just On My Love" and "Kimi wa Majutsu Samurai" were done by Morikubo Shoutarou? That doesn't sound like him at all. o.o Plus, both are not his usual style. Must be someone else, though it's obvious it's the same person both times.

I have no idea. I realised it was not his voice the very first time I listened to that song, but I thought I'd gone insane now, because nobody said anything about it... :oh

Hehe, I've been following the anime weekly since episode 194 or so, but...those were filler. =P It's not my first weekly dose of canon from anime, though, cause I watch Death Note weekly, plus Bleach started canon a few weeks ago.

It's true, a lot of the Naruto seiyuu had roles in Digimon as well. For example, Neji's seiyuu = Hawkmon's seiyuu in the Japanese version XD I always get a kick out of that one. Well...looking through the VA list on ANN...I have a few songs from Yachiru's VA, Tatsuki's VA, Hinamori's VA, Chizuru's VA, and Ririn's VA...they also do the main characters of Tokyo Mew Mew, which I used to love, and I have some character singles from that...
*just checked* Dammit, I must have deleted them a while back. T__T Now I need to go search for them again...even if we don't make a Bleach version of this thread, it's going to bug the crap out of me unless I find them. xDD

And you own all the Beat Collections, lotus? Lucky...xD I love the second session ones, but they don't seem to have a few of them on Yesasia, which is where I get all my music...

I have been thinking about it for a while...we did it for Naruto, I reckon the Bleach seiyuu are feeling left out... :nod

After finding that Byakuya seiyuu video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=AslZ3fm2m_w), I knew it was my calling to share it with the world. Kudos to occa and Knight for inspiring me to look if Byakuya's seiyuu sang any songs! O__O It was truly...an indescribable find, to say the least :spaz

What do we think? So far, I'm not positive if I can start up & maintain it...I own/co-own a few threads already, and I procrastinate waaay more than can possibly be healthy because of my beloved NF...but if the interest is there, I'd be more than happy to start or help manage it!

And yes, Indigo, I do in fact own all the Beat Collections...let's just say that I don't get my music from Yesasia :ninja I know, I'm terrible! :(

For some reason I don't quite understand, ripping from a video, then converting from flv to wav to mp3 results in a loss of quality. Some people prefer mp3 over wav, though, so just let me know which you prefer.

I could upload the Beat Collections; parts of some of them are already uploaded here (Noriaki~san, Paku Romi, and Kentarou Itou), so you could just use those upload links. I think they're still pretty active...if/when they do expire, just let me know and I'll have to re-upload them for this thread anyway, so we can share the links!

I'm pretty Fumiko Orikasa (Rukia) was a singer before she began seiyuu-ing, so music from her is really easy to find. Right off the bat--she did the first ED for Ichigo Mashimaro, plus songs from Shingetsutan Tsukihime and Saishuheiki Kanojo (neither of which I've heard of X3). In the Beat Collections, Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, Ishida, Hanatarou, Kon, Gin, Matsumoto, Zangetsu, Hitsugaya, Hinamori, Kenpachi, Yachiru, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Kariya, Claude, Noba, Ririn, and Orihime are all covered in at least one song each. Chad's gonna be tough, but a lot of Bleach Soul Sonic 2005 has been uploaded to YouTube so I could always rip from there...wow! Satsuki Yukino, who plays Yoruichi, sang songs for Angelic Layer, Love Hina, GUNxSWORD, and Ai Yori Aoshi! I could get & upload those...Shinichiro Miki (Urahara) did a song for Matantei Loki Ragnarok...OMG!! Urahara's seiyuu = Mizuki's seiyuu!! O__O Great, now I'll hear "THEY'RE GRRREAT!" whenever I see Urahara! XD

Getting down to business (to defeat the Huns...Mulan anyone? :nuts): Akiko Hiramatsu (Kuukaku) sang in Azumanga Daioh and Saber Marionette J Again, Aya Hisakawa (Unohana) sang in Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, and Devil Hunter Yoko...O__O OMG Hideo Ishikawa = Itachi = Ukitake!! Am I the only one who didn't know this?! So yeah, we can use Itachi's songs for him...

I could go on and on, but I think this is evidence that we have enough songs to start, if you'd like to, Indigo...just let me know what songs you want when, etc!

Ok, that took SO MUCH LONGER than I thought it would. xDDDD I've been working for like 3 hours on this...xDD I had to research the seiyuu (ANN was down for the most part, so I ended up using Wikipedia, which took waay longer) to see who has roles in both Naruto and Bleach (turns out a few have roles in both) and if we already have songs by them...and then uploading all the Beat Collection songs...

And OMG I totally feel your pain. I actually saved a document on my computer of the 3 pages of songs because it was getting so insane working in these little text boxes! >__< And my laptop's internet connection can be reaaally slow at times, so that doesn't help. Not to mention that I've been getting these 500 and 503 Internal Server Errors lately!! Has anyone else been getting those? I think it's because of increased traffic on the forums, which is always a great thing...but it's at the expense of some of the other forum-goers :cry

I actually set the entire thread up in a document, then just copy-pasted to the thread. xD Much easier to work with.
It ended up being JUST OVER 10k characters...so I shrunk it all down with Tinyurl. That took like 45 minutes right there...xDDDD;;;

I nearly did a double take when I watched Ichigo Mashimaro wondering how Orikasa Fumiko would sound doing Miu's voice (if you've not watched the series, the main characters are basically a bunch of little girls) and Miu sounded totally different from Rukia o_O Her singing voice for the Ichigo Mashimaro OP/ED sounded so different as well - these seiyuu never cease to amaze me w/ their talent XD

Yeah, there it finally is - the song I found by coincidence! XD I knew he had done a voice in Pretear, and browsing through Gendou's Pretear collection, I found this song without any artist labels, and thought something along the lines of, "Heck, might as well give it a try."
Well, lucky me, because that song already ranks among my all-time favourites. It's completely different from the usual Morikubo Shoutarou style, and thus a must-listen for every true fan. :P Sariachan, didn't you say most of his music was too loud for your tastes? This should definitely be something for you. ^^
And the tone is so very Shikamaru that I can almost hear him talking sometimes, it's rather scary...

Well, it's a general thank you to the person who started the thread and the person who linked the song. ^_^

The character Inoue-san plays in Hakanaru Toki no Naka de Hachiyou Shou is SUCH a FLIRT. To imagine Kakashi acting like that makes me blush. Ox It's a lovely song. I first heard a clip of it when I was watching this video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=UOktYFRXQsU).

Ah! I love that video; I actually linked to it on the front page thanks to shadowy_blue who told me about it. It's like the ultimate Naruto seiyuu video. The video I posted on the front page is what inspired this whole thread...I tried posting a comment on YouTube for that video, but apparently they won't accept comments that contain links >__< A lot of people commented to find out where they could download the songs, so I thought linking to this thread might be a good way to (1) provide those downloads and more, (2) advertise this thread :laugh, and (3) advertise NF in general! But alas, YT does not allow that.

Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoy this thread! It's become quite dear to my heart as well :love

I just wanted to ask if that's just a mistake in the file or if the GR link on the first page also links to TLIS. (Yeah, I could just download it, but my connection insists on being troublesome at the moment, so please anyone tell me. *kicks connection* I'll be glad if this post even shows. :P)
