Personally, IMO Kiba litterally has the best team on the show, but in every great team, there is someone to bring them down to keep balance, of course Kiba had to get stuck with someone as weak as Hinata...If she was replaced with anyone other then Sakura, then that would be the ultimate team!

It would've been unlikely Tenten be put on team 8 with Kiba and Shino because 1) She's a year older and had already graduated the acadamy 2) Team 8 wouldn't be balanced out and 3) Why have her on that team? Hinata has the Byakugan that can come in handy in many situations, for example the forest of death or on spying missions. Ino needs the Kagemane to be effective. I really really really doubt with all my heart Kiba or Shino could master that technique.

Skill in battle doesn't decide a character's strength. It's what's inside that really counts. So she might not be as strong as some of the other kunoichi but she's better at other things. Like being selfless (almost :sag). If everything were decided on how well you fight then why have any use for the medical ninja or spies etc... Everyone has some type of use. Iruka known this and put Hinata on this team to help her. I don't see a problem with their teamwork seeing as she does actually fight.

Jyuuken is the Hyuuga fighting technique, also known as the Gentle Fist. You know, the one where you inject chakra into your enemy's chakra points. It often comes in handy in battle.

Also, as for Shino's bugs. From what we've seen, Shino doesn't possess a telepathic connection with his bugs. So far in the series, it seems as though Shino's bugs always have to report back to him, which, in essence, would take quite a decent amount of time.

Due to superior chakra control, Hinata may be able to create her own technique that goes along the same lines. Besides, look at Sakura. They can, but think about how long it would take them to get there. crossing oceans would take an awful long time. The enemies would most likely relocate themselves by the time the team gets there. The smart thing to do is to get some information on the relative location of the enemies then go on with exact location from there. Locating from such far distances aren't exactly any help.

Bzzzzt. Wrong. Everyone uses chakra (With the exceotion of Lee, Gai, and Tenten). So chakra control is needed to perform the justu correctly. Hinata and Neji's Jyuuken Gentle Fist needs chakra to close up the the chakra points. The Byakugan uses up chakra too. Kiba needs chakra to perform jutsu's like Gatsuuga.

Hinata may not be super-strong or mega-smart but what she has she contributes to the team, her character does try aswell to maintain high levels.

as for Sakura you only watch the Dubbed version and I understand why you might hate her now with all her uslesness but she's still young.

and her not contributing in the rescue-sasuke arc wasn't her choice.

a note on the dub/sub thing I know it all comes down to prefrence and I enjoy both but "fun" or whatever is what that person perseves it too be.

Some people find it hard to look at the writting and watch the show and others don't, I like watching the subbed version as I sometimes feels i'm getting the most of the show and lot's of things are editted other than blood but you don't watch the subbed veriosn so you wouldn't be aware.

I have to agree with you on that one; I too hate Shippuden. I've only watched 6 episodes, and it was painstaking. Part I will always have a special place in my heart <3 I try to learn what happens, though, so I can stay somewhat cannonically accurate in my fanfics.
