sankyu for the compliments Rufus_Chamberlain , Sensei , Zukuru , Rori ♥ and T :glomp

I just want to remind people this is excluding the steps to make a round border, let alone a border.

Dammit, I got stuck on your tutorial. After I pressed ctrl+a to open all the pictures how do you turn them into layers? Should it happen automatically? Do you have to do it maually? And if you do have to do it manually how do you do it? I'm so confused.:confused

Totally off-topic, forgive me, but what anime is that in your sig, JH?

Oh, dont worry about it. It takes practice ^_^

Once you open, you will get a bunch of pictures, right? Well, you put all those pics into one like this:
http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/1268/1wr4.png (http://imageshack.us)

So Yeah. It has to be done manually.

If you wanna copy the pics, press "ctrl+a" (to select the pic), and you will see dotted lines moving. Then press "ctrl+c" (to copy), and press
"ctrl+v" (to paste it) into the part where u want all the layers to be together.

Does it help?

Totally off-topic, forgive me, but what anime is that in your sig, JH?

It is from Black Lagoon, and the female character is named "Levi"

I'm sorry but I'm still having trouble. This is what it looks like when I open all of the pictures:http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j95/Zukuru/photoshop.jpg?t=1165786467

Now when I do that is when I get stuck. I don't understand when you say to put all the pictures into one. Do you mean to put it into one layer or into one picture entirely. I just need to know what to do next right after I opened them all. I'm sorry that I'm putting you through all of this but I just don't understand it. I think I just need more direct directions in order to understand.

Whew, glad I wasn't the only one with that problem.:sweatdrop
Not that I mean that in a bad way, Makunouchi Ippo.

@JH: I know this is off topic in your thread and I'm sorry for that but ever since I saw your sig and avy I was wondering if I should check out black lagoon. From the looks of it it seems interesting. So, is it a good anime to watch?

Oh and I forgot to show the result of your help last night JH so...

Yeah. Most definitly. I think you should try Black Lagoon bc it has one the badd'st female character in the anime universe, and her name is "Levi-sama" :O

You can download it at anime-eden for free (Direct Download):
http://www.anime-eden.com/index.php?site=episodes&anime=blacklagoon

Also. If you are interested in round border, i edited the 1st post, and there's a round border tutorial for you all.

And great Rukia gif :D ... it is one of my fav scene in the OP (epi 106 xD)

And whenever you want to show your gif work. You can always post it in the General Gif thread: LINK (http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=123489)

heres a tip on how to put all of the scenes in one. after you have all the scenes, follow Kira's gif tutorial on how to import files into imageready, after all the files are in there, just click the icon on your toolbar to switch back to photoshop and all the layers should be filled. so then you can a border and stuff,

when you switch back to photoshop, you have to turn on all the layers, so just expand the layers so you can see more layers and hold the eyeball at the top and drag down and it should enable the eyeballs

You just have to hold onto "Ctrl" and then "left mouse click" on that little square icon in the layer window where it says "Shape layer" or something like that.

If you still need help, just tell me and I can post pics of the way it's done :sag

Sorry for the double post...but I really don't feel like editing my post over and over again. Besides, I'm helping a bunch of people, so its payment..? o-O...whatever.

Nice tut ^_^ But, I don't know any good avi video file sites. Does anyone have good sites?
Er...most people rip video off of YouTube and convert them or they download anime episodes and use that.
that's pretty nice tutorial.
i have a question. i can make gif using VirtuslDub and ImageReady. how can i insert text into different layers? is it possible with ImageReady?
Um...you make a new layer at the very top layer and make a Text Box. After that, right click the text box layer and select "Rasterize Text" or something like that. Once you do that, go to top right option thingie in ImageReady and choose "Impose new layer on all frames" twice or something similar to that.
Ok I'm past the ctrl+left click part. But how do you the bg next to the round border transparent?
Umm...I'm not sure where you are, so I'm assuming that you have the round border selected. Right click that, select "Select Inverse", and then press Delete on every layer to get rid of the extra stuff you don't want. I just make a border, inverse it, and click on every layer and delete the outside stuff.
argh i wanna do this tutorial but when i am opening a video file it comes :
Couldnt locate decompressor for format "XVID"
You're missing some video codecs. Google "ffdshow", and download it from a site that looks safe and install it. Then it should work fine.

P.S. I have CS3, so I'm giving out advice from what I know of it.
