As you all know they both don't really get along.
Always fighting over stupid lil things (for fun of course).
Anyway my point is, Ichigo and Renji from Bleach have the same habit.
Did they steal that kind of idea of OP?

Isn't it the other way since OP anime was created in 2001 and Bleach was created in 2004?....
So technically, Tite Kubo stole Oda's idea of two rivals XD

Isn't that what I said? or at least tried to say...

My bad >_< For some reason, I was thinking OP stole from Bleach.
Meh, other anime series have those kind of people. Just watch Rurouni Kenshin (Saito and Kenshin are hardly buddies, but they help each other sometimes) and...Naruto (Sasuke and Naruto obviously don't get along well too).

That's true what ya say I guess...dunno for some reason was thinking about Renji and Sanji, similar names and similar verbal fights with comrades :)

Ya, rivals is a VERY VERY common thing.
What i'm wondering is if Final Fantisy Advent Children stole the scene where cloud gets a buch of boosts to the dragon thing from OP when they where in Alabasta trying to get to the cannon in the tower?

Damn can't remember that, has been a long time since I watched AC and Alabasta arc, sorry about that. Guess the Dragon is Bahamut?
Yeah I remember that scene. It was pretty cool, but the AC was so much cooler, imo.
Ideas might have been used, but there's also the possibility each came up with the motion on their own.

I love Sanji, hate Zoro. So boring...
It even says on Wikipedia that they don't get along well. Unlike Sanji, Usopp, and Luffy, Zoro seems to isolate himself...

They don't get along but they're still Nakama. It's just one of those typical out of control to the level of violence rivalries in fiction.

R2D2 and C3PO fought constantly too . So OP and Bleach copied from Star Wars?

i would have to agree with all the other posts..
I mean haven't you ever competed with your pals..
I remember one time.. my buddy wanted to wrestle.. he was trying to look good.
Well he put me in a bad spot and beat me on the tap out.. but i promptly got up and took my stand up game to him.. knocked him out :)
to this day he says the only reason i knocked him out is because he was not ready.........good times..

Ah butthey DO care for eachother, at least thats what I got from a few scenes:
When Zoro is working out on the sand crab when Luffy stays behind wth Croc, Namy scolds Zoro for it, butthen Sanji says to leave him alone for its the only way he can keep himself calm(okay they started fighting afterwards but meh)
And when Sanji was on the sea train Luffy said to go ahead and save Robin to Sanji, but Zoro said that it was way to dangerous, Sanji then mockingly asked if Zoro was worried, to wich Zoro replied: "Like hell baka!"
But IMO Zoro WAS worried.
Its like with Ussop, you didnt get the idea that they cared for him, until they saw his battered body at the Franky family house, they all just stayed silent, prepped up and kicked the shit out of the Franky Family
