Yeah... gonna say KN4 takes this one. I don't really think the avatar universe has anything on Narutoverse...

Inconclusive? Thats kinda surprising since people regularly match KN4 against much stronger opponents than Aang and KN4 wins frequently (according to some). The most impressive thing Aang has done in avatar state was when he called on the spirit of the ocean, but that was the spirit doing the damage and not him...

Closer to tornado I guess, but still not incredibly impressive compared to narutoverse.

I could explain why AS is impressive, but it'd be a waste. Most things are in the OB. I'll say this. Killing your enemy is more important than fancy explosions

Maybe in terms of how pure "magical" abilities, Aang's unlimited use of elemental magic would own Naruto's Shadow Clones and Rasengan.

But you guys forget, Naruto K4 is nasty at taijutsu, far faster than anything in the avatarverse and can sure as hell take and give alot more damage than little twelve year old Aang can.

The only thing Aang has on naruto at all is that Aang has recently gained complete control over his Avatar state where as Naruto not only lack's control but is vowing to stop using Kyuubi power.

I remember in an episode that an Earth Kingdom general captured Katara in order for Aang's avatar spirit to come out.

Aang destroyed the whole battleground, but returned to his normal state afterwards.

Naruto would burn a hole through Aang if he touched him, wouldn't he?

I'd say Naruto winds because, from what we've seen, it looks as though, while being in the Avatar State makes Aang's bending skills exponentially more powerful, his body is still as weak as it is normally (while going into the Avatar State he was taken down by one of Azula's lightning bolts). Naruto, on the other hand, when in KN4, is shown to be incredibly resilient to damage; Orochimaru tried to cut him the Kusanagi, a sword that can supposedly cut through diamonds, and Naruto didn't even have a scratch. So I'd say that Aang's ability to destroy the environment around them is greater than the Naruto's, but he lacks the ability to do much, if any, damage to Naruto himself, while all Naruto needs is one good shot, either hand-to-hand or with a chakra blast, to take Aang down.
