Let's see: Mew took a full frontal shot from a 15m diameter cannon. His gundam disappeared in a huge explosion.

At least when Char survived Z, his MS was not totallly destroyed so it made sense.

Now, if he somehow survived, who could have rescued him? the probability of finding a hair in the ocean is higher than the probability of finding a dude in the universe.

hmm...i dont think that guy is Mwu yet. what about that Klueze guy? they never did let us see his face when his mask flew off. looked like Kira and Mwu were pretty shocked when they saw his face too. and as much as i want Mwu to be alive, i think he pretty much died from that explosion...doesnt really look like there was a way he could escape =/
In the last special edition, they edited out Mwu's helmet from the blown up remains of Strike after he "died", so maybe they're trying to hint us towards it. Although it seems way to obvious that Neo could be Mwu that it doesnt seem possible, if that makes any sense :confused

And they did show Klueze's face, in the special edition, looks just like Rey. =\

I think it's just a customized version of Orb's new main mobile suit. The one's Kira attacked after snatching away Cagalli in episode 14.

Well, I posted almost all of these new 'to-think-about-things' in the Gundam SEED: Destiny thread on page 88, direct linkhere (http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=2758&page=88&pp=20), it's the last post on the page.

The picture noodles posted with Shinn and Kira flying towards some gundam, that is probably the new bad-guy's gundam. See the resemblance with the Providence gundam? Round thing on the back, lasers on it. No Hayate, it's not the "Destiny" gundam deactivated, can't see how spikey wings fold up into a round thick disc? Besides, why would Kira fly together with Shinn against Shinn's own gundam? :confused

And just on a side note: eroda, that is probably the first un-readable reply on this board. And that's even without acting like a spelling-nazi. :)

Also, for thoes of you who are not as observant as me: The two standing gundams inside the Archangel you get to see when Maryu talks to Bartfelt is Freedom and Strike Rouge. How do I see this? There is no other gundam than Freedom right now that has thoes boosters on the hips/upper legs.

The "Murasame" or Bartfelt's gundam is actually the red plane you see down on the hangar floor as the camera goes down. The gundam has wing's after all..... And the plane on the ground matches the color quite well, yellow, black, red.

It does wonder me, and it never ceases to stop, how the hell Mwu could've survived, but to me, it just makes sense. It has to be a pretty damn good clone if it makes Murrue cry. Or maybe, if it is Mwu, his face, at least nose up, got so deformed and so ugly, that he had to put a mask on. He wouldn't want his lover to see him alive with an ugly face. =D j/k.

Seeing the new opening sequence, it is very effective in bringing excitement to viewers and make such predictions.

Whether Mu La Flaga is alive, it is still not quite clear. Well, yes, Strike was totally destroyed in episode 49 in SEED and we got to see his helmet floating in space. There is no way he could have survived.

Besides, Mu's quite famous for the "I'm the man who makes the impossible possible" line. Maybe...

Notice how his Zaku is actually different from the standard Zaku warriors and zaku phantoms? Looks like they will be introducing a new Zaku which this dude will pilot.

Uhm... Actually, you have already seen that guy in action. :P

Sorry to ruin you thinking, but that's the truth. You saw him fight in the episode where the EA luanched their attack on PLANT. You never saw HIM, but you did see his MS fly around, kicking butt.

And about it looking different, you know, Lunamarias and Rey's Zaku's look different, but thats just because they have different packs on the back of the mech. Luna has a energy pack for that big gun. And Rey has a booster-pack with rockets in it. That thing on that guys Zaku is probably just something like that.

And just on a side note: that guy is not Miguels brother, they are totaly unrelated. He's a totaly new character. His name was posted in another thread, can't remember wich one.

Actually, his Zaku is different. His (the pilot's) name is: Haine Westenfluss. It's a new Gouf type Zaku. It's not a different pack like the one that Rey and Lunamaria use. It's a completely new one. Lemme post the pic

The gold suit...as soon as I saw it, I harkened back to Zeta Gundam. I like how Destiny has some parallels and throwbacks to the UC Gundam series, like the Zakus, the Gouf (the orange suit, as someone mentioned earlier) and the gold suit, the Murasame that Andy uses. I'm anxious to see them both in action; the two Murasame's we see (those chasing Kira after he kidnaps Cagalli) were pretty easily dispatched; but mass-produced suits in the hands of main characters completely whoop ass, so it will be great to watch. I do somewhat hope that we go back to the Minerva now; and see Athrun join up with it with his Saviour.

Haine Westenfluss the pilot of the soon to be shown 'Gouf Ignited' is part of Athruns FAITH unit. He's apparently an elite pilot too. He should be revieled I'm guessing after the crummy 'gundam destiny edited' episode. Most like in 17 or 18. Who knows. I'll do some scavanging along the net to find if anybody has the exact episode when he's shown. I'm hoping after the edited episode it starts to get more action oriented. They've already introduced everybody, lets see what happens. Woot.

Neo is the clone of Mwu, the reason Maryue looks at him in shock is because he does look like Mwu, her lover, so she is confused.

Andrew Bartfield will be flying a gold color Murasame, it will probaby have some aditional gadjets on it but its not yet know what they will (custom), they trying to bring back the memeories of Hyaku Shiki with the color and Zeta Gundam with the design, but you gotta admit, Orb has good MS taste in their mass production units. Unlike Zakus (heavy and ugly faced) and Windam (light and ugly wings). The Murasame's are much cooler, heh, glad they didn't follow up on the Astray Shrike wings on Murasames.

The GOUF Ignited pilot's name is Haine Westenfluss, he's a FAITH pilot. Maybe All of the FAITH pilot's will have thier customized GOUF's.

If you don't see Sting Oklay here it's understandable, since Chaos was made for Space, so having it on Earth would be usless, guess we will be not seeing him for the second section of the series.

Other possible members of FAITH : Yzak Joule and maybe (very slight but still a possiblity) Dearka Elsman.

As someone stated, this story will be based mainly with 3 Main couples and 1 secondary couples:
Main
- Kira and Lacus
- Shinn and Stellar
- Athrun and Cagalli

Secondary
- Maryuu and Neo

that gundam that Kira and Shinn were flying towards to. i say that thing has to be more than just another copy of Providence. the EAF (if there the ones that make it) are probably gonna use everything they got to make that gundam soo strong that it would take freedom and destiny* gundam to go after it. probably gonna have a combination of forbidden+raider+calamity with DRAGOON system =]

I think the gundam is probably gonna be pretty big, not as big as it seems to be in the intro, but still pretty big.

Guess of its feature:

- Funnel system for sure. All cool baddies have funnels: haman, char, kluze.
- Some kind of High mega beam cannon
- INSANE armor
- probably can transform or combine since it's Destiny's tendency.
- its name will be another corny acronym :sweatdrop

Y'know, your probably right Kev, but I'd love to see something original from a bad guy suit, instead of just Insane Armor + Bits/Funnels + Uber Cannon o' Doom. Just once...I'd like to see something that harkens back to...iunno, something like The O from Zeta. Ugly, bulky, but insanely fast and powerful more because of the pilot than the suit itself. Paptimus Scirocco was a badass. I mean, any guy who can blank ANOTHER Hi-Newtype's memory WHILE impaled on the tip of said guy's Gundam's shield is awesome in my book.

that scene where paptimus got impaled was like my fav scene in Z lol. Did u see the face he made?? priceless. But i didn't really appreciate what he did to Kamille afterwards.

If i remember well, the O had quite a huge amount of armor, that why it was big and ugly.

I think that in the 80's having a rubber band on ur head was considered cool. I'm just guessing lol.

^^ Yeah, your right. The O was insanely bulky, that's why Kamille had to Waveride and ram to get to Paptimus. Plus, the fact the thing had like four arms with sabres, and we could control them perfectly. I still think Zeta is one of the saddest endings of any Gundam series....unless you count the end of the Mobile Suit Gundam novels. Anyone read them other than me? The story is so much different from the show...but so great at the same time.

What I didn't understand is why the collection of minds/souls/wills did not protect Kamille's body when he needed it most. They protected and gave power to Zeta just fine. Then again, it could be just because Scirroco was that powerful of a Newtype, but Kamille was definitely up there too. Damn...that wasn't at all about Seed Destiny...umm, yeah, so good opening that Seed Destiny has! ^_^;; Zeta's ending is sad, but ZZ kind of made up for that at the end, especially seeing Kamille

My guess is Kamille used all the help available for that final attack, thus leaving him with not enough mojo to counter Paptimus' attack.

Or maybe that spirit thing is just for offense. In ZZ, Judou also used them to own Haman.
